-What I'm looking for is a watch which allows me to search for content into a text file.
-I've the .pdf now, but any other file format is ok: I can easily convert the file I have.

Does anybody have an idea, how can I create sppl2_xx.lex? Some of them: sppl2_en.lex, sppl2_fr.lex etc can be extracted from existing ROMs. I can't find any information about file format nor any tools to create them.
In particular - I'm looking for sppl2_pl.lex [polish].

I've seen the files with names mssp2_??.lex in WinWord 6.0, but I never tried to copy them on PocketPC. So you can try to get MS Word 6.0 with your language support, install it and take a file from there. Maybe this would work.
Finding such an old Word version would be a complex task

i was'n able to find the file(s), where the incomming sms-data is stored. are they accessable directly from the xda/pda/... or via activesync-connection? can i get any access to these sms?
i'm using the excalibur with wm6.

They're not just in a folder. They're stored in some kind of datafile.

Hmm, seems that \PIM.VOL contains the contacs etc. but it seems, like this file don't saves the SMS.
So any suggestions, where to find the "SMS"-datafile?
By the way, does anybody know where to find some information about the structure of PIM.VOL?

For the info about the PIM.VOL structure you have to be at the MSDN. There you can find all information about how to access them. (this is also possible with .NET Compact Framework)

\CEMAIL.VOL as far as i know, look into that file name, are you trying to backup your sms's ?
Hi all, and happy new year,
I'm looking for a PDF reader (i already have adobe reader 2.5 installed and tried some others too) that enable us to click on a link inside a PDF and redirect us to that link.
The thing is : i have many PDF files inside a folder (manuals from my company), and (for example) inside pdf file a.pdf ,cliking on the link "link to B.Pdf" opens the pdf B.
I think it works in the same way as webpage hyperlinking inside a pdf.
Any pdf reader can easily do it inside Vista or Xp or any normal computer. However i've found none for a PDA...

i found docx4j but android branch is out of date. so i'm thinking to use xml and xsl file. i must write directly the xml with applied xsl, something like this: http://pastebin.com/yWB72d3K (example found on internet)
how can i add an image to a cell using this method?
have you got other ideas to work with android, excel and images?

Haven't done what you're attempting but have used poi.apache.org for excel which seemed to work OK.
I am trying to create a simple app that allows the user to search for an error code and get the description for that error code. i need to be able to read a text file line-by-line and then compare the search to see if that line is the searched "error". i am struggling to find a way to read a file line-by-line though. maybe there is a better way to do the search? or maybe someone here knows how to read line-by-line. any help is appreciated....
