I miss gapps from banks. But this is a good news. Is forced encryption on or disabled? Which gapps are recommended here?

This rom is really nice. It could have its own customization menu, add they are under Display menu, but still is fine. I have some problems with gapps, so I am trying the 64bit version.

And RRO/Layers Builds from Aldy ... ? SimpleAOSP ftw !!!

Just a warning people, franco kernel and Fire Ice kernel causes system UI crash, so don't bother with those. Their g+ page says elementalx kernel is compatible, maybe I'll try that later.
Edit: Fire Ice K6 test6+ works

Sorry, I guess I should have reported it to you first hand. I think it's because of layers. Their g+ page might say why most kernels won't work.

I used K5. First I flashed franco and got system ui crashes. I went to recovery and flashed k5 and got the same thing. I reflashed the rom and the ui crashes went away. I figured it was the kernels doing that because people were reporting similar behaviors with other kernels on g+

i tried the rom a few days back, ril was not working and com.android.phone kept crashing

Com.android.phone is crashing

The builds are pretty stable,just moved to MIUI after a month's use..recommended

It is working for me just fine!

Mokee thread has been created longback. Try to avoid multiple threads with same development to avoid mess and confusion . just an advice!

i dont have fingerprint in settings ... settings -> Lock Screen ,right?

so that means its a share, move it to general section,shares should go in general section.you can tag any moderator and ask them to move the thread.(and till then read xda rules)
else thread can be closed because voilating gpl and too xda doesn't like mokee.

I see many non dev posting here. Why do they not like Mokee, best rom I have put on my Kenzo so far.

You have to add the sources to first post tho and mokee is closed sourced I think so that's probly why?

mokee uses chinese apps in their roms which xda doesn't like.

So can you tell the other guy to move his too?

What works:
Calls seem to work (it's late here, so I just dialed and it was connecting)
DPI changer on the fly works
Bluetooth scanning
Data connection works
Dual SIM works
Setup wizard doesn't FC
WiFi
Fingerprint
Google Play App Install
What doesn't work:
NFC
Camera (tried Google Camera, no picture)
Haven't tested DASH charge
Overall impression: fast, pretty smooth. That launcher took me back to my Galaxy Nexus or Nexus 4 days Don't know about battery cause I didn't keep the system for long. Phone was a little warm but it's to be expected with nandroid, flashing and app optimization.
Amazing work so far, I'm looking forward to next releases and I'm wishing all devs continuing success and a lot of energy! Had one reboot though when I entered the launcher one time, corrupted some screenshots so I don't have many.

Just used the title that fits most. When the maintainer create a thread i also have no problem that a mod close / delete this here.

I am just saying that you cant open a thread in development section just to post links to an official rom. You can do it in general but not here. Let a real developer do it.

Yes, that is to discuss development. Having a thread here is a good way to keep the non-development stuff out of that thread. Too often the development threads got cluttered with n00b questions.

Is over, Project Treble for OnePlus 5T is out thanks to XiNGRZ, MoKee dev.
- Full Project Treble implementation
- No data loss
- Phh-Treble GSI ROM works
- RR and LOS Treblized works
- Must use treblized kernel
A brief explaination:​
That was possibile because 5T (and other OP device) has a unused partition (sdf6) of 1.4GB. MoKee developer used this partition like a vendor partition. Another requirement is the binderization of the HAL's (in particular camera HAL's but with latest open beta OnePlus did it, so MoKee devs have brought Project Treble to OnePlus 5 and 5T

So apparently they rename and re-purpose /dev/block/sdf6 as the /vendor partition. Anybody with more technical experience can say what this partition is, how large it is, where it comes from, and why it's been left unused?

If i'm not wrong is unused space, about 1.3 or 1.6 GB. I don't know why was empty

I hope OnePlus didn't intend to support Treble but then got too lazy. Any ideas how I can check this partition? fdisk, /proc/partitions, etc. are all oblivious to its existence...

I do not see sdf6 but one can take a part of sdf5

This is huge stuff! Depending on how this was implented, OnePlus could take some notes?

Wouldn't we loose features if we flash treble roms? What's the benefits that this brings for us. Devs have new android versions for our device so quickly. I understand the benefits for new devices or ones that have a hard times developing ROMs buts that's not the case here.
