long story short I installed pixel experienced 9.0 and downgraded to PE 8.1 and then to stock 7.0 for my g5 plus XT1687
and idk how I locked my bootloader, I can´t installa any other rom or recovery or anything via fastboot. Neither is my device recognized by my computer.
I´m new to this and I dont know what to do... I´m desperate please help
Does it boot to bootloader? Or is only the power lights flashing at the top? If you can get to bootloader, do you see flashing_locked or flashing_unclocked? Which one?

Hi guys, I will appreciate if someone can help me. The things is:
I erase system.img from recovery and I backup from XT1706. After I found a site with stock XT1700 rom I downloaded last version which is the S503 I used SP Flash Tools and everything goes well. But when I tried to unlock Bootloader again adb windows said: This operation is not allowed. I tried everything but I wasn't able to unlock Bootloader again. So I downloaded the first version (S116) and surprisingly I could unlock Bootloader. But I get no notification of OTA updates it says that phone has the last version which is not true. Any ideas of what could be happening here? Thanks of hand for you help.
If you downloaded the ROMs from http://motorolastockrom.com/motorola-moto-e3-xt1700 then I suspect the problem is the ROMs have locked boot loaders. I tried installing the S503 version and the S302 version and had the same problem as you. In the end I ended up installing an XT1706 firmware and was able to unlock the bootloader, but sadly it is the same release date and adroid patch version as the XT1700 ROM I was on to begin with (S124)
I installed the bootloader unlock app and tried to unlock
but it failed and says 'an unknown error occurs which maybe a network connection issue'.But my wifi is working correctly. Please help me to unlock my bootloader. I really need to unlock my bootloader because I don't want to stay in marshmallow version anymore. I have to install lineage os 14.1 and for that I have to install custom recovery but without unlocking bootloader I can't install that. I tried so many times to unlock bootloader but I had to face the same problem every time. I need a solution badly. Please help me out
P.s: I downgraded my phone marshmallow to lollipop and try this tool but I faced the same problem.
Model: ze550kl
Firmware :21.40.1220.2087
Ram:2gb
Yes bro me too want the same. Anyone here to help?/
Just skip that part and flash recovery from fastboot.....it will sure work @foysal04 @dr.vats
For the ZE550KL have to use the unlocker from ZE551KL for android M. This one. http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/ZenFone/ZE551KL/UnlockTool_ASUS_AndroidM20160928_Singed.zip?_ga=2.54829410.894198239.1509637938-1320771787.1509637938
I came back from LOS 16.0. Flashed A2017G_B10_NOUGAT_FULL_EDL in EDL but there's a warning that my bootloader is locked. I wanted to relock it but the warning prevents me from entering bootloader or fastboot (or maybe they are not even present....). Next I flashed A2017U_FASTBOOT_UNLOCK_EDL in MiFlash but it did not do anything. It flashed OK but I still cannot access fastboot. Should I flash some marshmallow rom? Thanks in advance.
I have the same problem. Cannot enter fastboot mode on Nougat ROM.
Ok I found the way usin Axon 7 Toolkit
1. Set the Android version to 7 using option 13
2. Perform unlock bootloader
Following instruction Axon & Tookit gives you EDL image of the proper fastboot partition giving the possibility to enter fastboot mode
then fasboot oem lock
I wanted to say thanks that works, but apparently my phone is bricked now - it hangs on green ZTE logo. PC recognizes it as DFU. Cannot enter EDL either. I guess I look for some guide how to recover from this situation
Managed to fix that. Somehow I was able to enter fastboot. It said my bootloader was locked so i flashed TWRP and from TWRP using ADB installed stock Nougat rom

Seems that TWRP was inatlled before the bootloder was locked again.
I updated to Pie today using OTA. This resulted in a bootloop. Since my bootloader was already unlocked, I booted TWRP (not flashed) and swapped slots. This resulted in booting to the recovery "no command" prompt instead. So I downloaded the only ROM Xiaomi has on their site - 8.1 - and flashed this with the "flash_all_except_storage" script. Still bootloops, only now the bootloader is relocked.
So, anyone know how to unlock the bootloader on a non-booting Android One device? Is there an EDL mode on these?

Seriously? No one reads thread online?! I quote to NEVER, EVER, FLASH OREO/NOUGAT ROMS AFTER UPDATING TO PIE!!!
I downloaded the latest OFFICIAL ROM when it was already bootlooping.... Seriously? I'm supposed to go searching online for 3rd party information rather than the official?
Now how about people with useful information instead of arrogance?
If I'm not wrong you just need to boot into bootloader and fastboot oem unlock. With unlocked bootloader, go fastboot mode and flash official stock pie fastboot rom
Hi guys,
I did something pretty silly yesterday while trying to unroot my phone.
First I uninstalled magisk
Then I disabled unlock OEM from developer options
Then from fastboot I did: fastboot oem lock
And then I restarted without flashing the stock rom...
The result is that I now have a locked bootloader, that does not boot to the ROM because previously rooted (it says device is corrupted), and I am unable to unlock to the bootloader because it is not enabled in the developer options.
I have no clue what to do... I can't flash anything because the bootloader is locked but I can't unlock the bootloader because the device wont boot...
Have I managed to reach the ultimate brick state ??? Please gib help.
nevermind boys I did a factory reset from the bootloader, and I started booting afterwards...funny because it did not work before, maybe it's because I attempted a rescue with the Lenovo smart assistant...dunno
