Have you managed to solve someone's call recording on Android 9?
Try call recorder by SKVALEX. Find it in Google play store. Works flawlessly on mine. I'm using Qualcomm snapdragon model. Cheers!

If not, just change your CSC to the THL and you will get a native call recording feature

So I understand that it is enough to buy Thai SIM, put it on the phone and it unlocks the call recording function?

Cube Abr work on note 9 exynos but i cant figure out what are best phone recording audio source. There are
- voice comunication
- voice comunicatiiin software
- voice call
- voice call software
-microphone
The thing is that every source sims to had effect on interlocutors voice loudness and clarity. Please try all and report

Before I reverted back to Oreo, I tried this app. Along with the current state of ACR, the SKVALEX app also suffers from the exact same problem. It's not directly recording the other end, only using the phone's speaker to listen. So the voice on the other end is at a very low volume. Even when boosting the decibels in the app settings, it's not as clear and loud as when either apps were working whilst on Oreo. This also means that phone numbers still can't be recorded by either app. As stated by pop up messages inside both apps.
This may be fine for some but I don't think Pie and One UI is worth losing FIRM call recording capabilities. Along with other features we've come to rely on on Oreo.
Just my two cents on it.

don't be angry I am still bothering. I'm thinking about it. I'll put a Thai SIM on my phone. Thailand SIM unlocks call recording. if I return Czech SIM to my phone, the recording function will be locked again or not?
Cube ACR
I'm on unlocked stock and wouldn't want to do anything to risk Samsung Pay functionality, so still stick with Oreo?
how to revert back to oreo? Will I lose all my current data?? thanks for your guidance
Call recording in Android 9 (Samsung Galaxy S8)
No call recording app can record bothway voice calls on Android 9 unless the phone maker dialer provides inbuilt recording feature for a particular region. I have tried many on my Galaxy S8 but found no luck. Call recording is an important feature which is essential for millions. Google should open the relevant API so that the app makers can bring back call recording. BTW, Cube ACR couldn't do bothway call recording on my S8. The best call recorder was NLL's ACR for Android 8. It doesn't work for Android 9 though NLL published an unchained version. This unchained version also can't record bothway calls.

I have downgraded my galaxy s8 to Oreo from Pie to enable call recording. Now ACR (by nll) works fine like before. I am not going to upgrade to Pie again if google or Samsung doesn't open call recording API. Call recording is necessary for me like millions.

SKVALEX worked on my note 9 up to the last Android v8.1.0 Oreo release, once it hit Android v9.0 pie it stopped, all call recorders did. Android removed call recording capability with pie. Sux, I hope someone finds a workaround for it because it was really handy, didn't need to write crap down when getting info or directions from someone.
How do I revert my Samsung Note 8 back to Oreo to get back recording feature?

Hello,
I am in need of call recording on my T-Mobile S4.
When I had CM 10.1 I download an app from the app store and was immediately recording both sides of the conversation. Now that I am running stock T-Mobile rom I am only able to record my side of the call.
What is the solution ?
Thank you,
Mike
ACR gives me both side recording. What's the app you are using?
If CM had no problem in recording then Stock ROM shouldn't have either!
PS : Could it be your carrier blocking something? T-Mobile I mean?

Every call recorder I have tried only records one side of the call. When I had CM10.1 this was not the case. Not sure what the problem is.
Oddly enough on my stock s3 call recording works perfectly.
The app I loved when I had cm10.1 was Call Recorder by Sethi Apps.

Yes, in S2 also worked full duplex recording in CM10, but it doesn't in CM11. In S4 it works ok with stock ROM and stock based ROMs. The problem, I repeat, could be CM11. In s2 it is a known issue pending to fix, I assume in S4 same happen even it is not writen in CM11 S4 known issue wiki.
The restriction is not with the mobile but with Android OS version. Both side call recording might work for some days and after you upgrade your OS it might stop working. To record both side use Speaker mode during call. I am a Android Developer myself and have created a call recorder software called "Spy Call Recorder" in TrackMyPhone website.

Its not virus but since it can be used as spyware as the icon can be hidden few anti virus show that as virus/malware or whatever. Its not available on Google Play. You need to download from website directly.
Anyone tried any call recording software yet?
Are you root/non root?
Which app do you use?
Does it record the audio stream or just what the microphone picks up from the speaker?
I use ACR - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nll.acr
It works perfectly fine to record both sides of the conversation.
The incoming audio is a little on the softer side but still very audible
I paid for the licensed version as well.
What config do you use???

Just add ACR to your unmonitored apps under battery so that Doze does not kill the app

1. The programmer communicates with you if you have a problem. I've written him over XDA a couple of times, and he has always helped me.
2. If the app does not support the mobile phone (new models on the market), just write to him and he looks at it right away.
3. Regular updates.
4. Many options for recording such as formats, filters etc.
5. When you start the app for the first time, the application will set itself the most suitable settings for that mobile.
6. You don't need to have root.
Look, I tried many apps, but Call Recorder is the first choice for me.

Most possibly, you enabled the OK Google app in your phone. OK Google is occupying the microphone, it is continuously picking up sound from the microphone to recognize your "voice command", and this blocks Boldbeast working. Please disable the "Settings > Google > Search > Voice > OK Google detection > From any screen" option in your phone, then it works at once.
About the "can not record any call" problem, actually there are 7 possible reasons, have a look at the [001] part in this page: http://www.boldbeast.com/android/call_recorder_troubleshooting.html
Test again, it 100% works.
Used to use this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.appstar.callrecorder&hl=en
It quit working on my Galaxy S8.
I tried using Boldbeast as some people stated here but it didn't even record. No recordings where found.
I am using ACR as also indicated on here and it seems to be working for the moment.
I am using the AT&T Galaxy S8. do I have the one that doesn't support call recording? I was reasding on other forums and people are saying some S8s are blocked from recording calls.

The Android Oreo update has impacted recording on some Samsung S8 and 8+ and all S9's. I've been a paid user of ACR for a year now and it's awesome, but even they are scratching their heads about this b/c it's impacting everyone.
Native call recording is the best, and free. But need root.

I've tried a number of apps that worked fine on my Galaxy S6 but once reinstalled on my new S8, they all failed to record incoming voices, despite settings in the respective apps.
I have read that the only viable method of two way recording is via the Samsung Phone app built in recorder, but requires rooting (unlocking) with something like kingroot[dot]net
Hope it helps, it got my calls recording again. It's just unfortunate that one has to unlock their device, in order to use a pre-installed, but disabled firmware app.
If I purchase a SIM free Contract free device, all options should be available by default, not limit the device's functionality, just to profit from serving to different markets.
Thanks Samsung!

You'll have to purchase a Samsung phone with 8.x, so your options are the s/Note 8/9. Also, Magisk can hide root. It's held that functionality for a long time.

There are a few 3rd party apps that will call record. Just have to choose your preference. May have to pay a few bucks for it.

Don't see the option for call recording available on my Exynos model. I've tried 3rd party call recording applications and all seem to capture from the microphone. Can anyone recommend an application that can record calls without the use of the microphone? On my old Sony Xperia Z3 which I have replaced with S10+ I used to use Call Recorder - SKVALEX that records perfectly clear audio of both side using API, however, the application requires root.

Hi all
Having received my S10+ I realise my call recording app is not supported?!
I understand there is native call recording built in but it is disabled in the UK for whatever reason.
How can I activate it or better still, any 3rd party apps that work on pie for call recording?
This ^^
Want to know the same... If there's any way to enable native call recording.
I know there is a way to modify the cscfeature.xml file and enable it, however you need root for that.
Does anyone know if there's a non-root way to modify csc files?
