During charging ghosttouches - OnePlus 6T Questions & Answers

Hello, everybody,
I noticed that my mobile phone was not working while I was charging the finger print.
And when I write a text email, whatsapp, sms . I can't type anything normally into my keyboard. It just adds random letters or spacebar in the text.
does anyone have these problems too ? is this a warranty claim ? has it already completely reset nothing has helped.
the mobile phone is also in its original state.
Thanks for the answers and help

My Tytn has gone mad!

Ok,first of all,my english is not so good, but I think that you are going to understand me. And,before I explain my problem, thanks for your help.
So,Everything was great, but all of a suden my Tytn started to have some very iritating problems. Here are few:
1.When I am writing a text message, and I am using slide-out keyboard, some of the keys are not writing at all. For example: I type letter "a",but nothing shows.
2.I try to dial a number or locate a contact in my contact list, all of a suden,my tytn starts typing (random) letters, like "sakljdfbhaoskdIHBDSDAF" and I cant stop it! I have to soft reset my device. What is weird-those problems are not always there. They are very unpredictable. This problem happens also when I try to write new text message. It just starts to write random letters. For example: "Dear friend, can we meknsdfkjasndfksjdfnkjsd...." Very Iritating!
3.After I power on my device, and windows "boot" up,first screen/window that I see is a dial screen-and I cant close it! It takes 10 minutes or soft reset to get me to Today screen.
4.Sometimes,very rarely,my screen/colors dramaticaly change! Colors on the screen go like a negative or like they are inverted. Why?!
5.My camera works but most of pitcures that I take have green stripes/lines!
6.And my buttons (up,down,left right,start,ok button,video call,call,drop call) are not working!
Ok,very weird problems,dont you think?
My OS version is Schaps 4.22,I changed it to 4.31,the newest one I thing, but nothing, same problems! Also tried the option "clear storage". Nothing. When changing the rom didnt help,i returned to official htc tytn rom,but everything is the same. Can anyone help me? I spend one year colecting money to buy this ( till now fantastic ) device, please tell me that I can do something. What is the problem? Thanks.

it is very difficult to see exactly what happens. But first though is that a connector or something like that is disconnected inside the pda. If under warranty, it would be better to send it for repair. If not, you could try to open it. But it is risky...

Touchscreen sometimes don't response

For example:
When i write a textmessage the keyboard sometimes doesn't recognize the letter i "press" and when i hold down and move my finger to other letters or buttons the device doesn't react. When i move my Finger up and "press" again everything works well. It's rare but annoying.
I have allready read this thread but i can't find my problem
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=595655
Have anybody this problem too?
I have the German 1.48 firmware. Maybe newer firmware-versions don't have this issue.
I hope it's a software problem...

It is a software issue, and it's one that's been reported on here before, but not too many people suffer from it. Those who do, suffer in degrees from it.
I too get this problem, but very rarely. If I'm, for example, browsing the forums here for a couple of hours on the train, then I'll get the problem maybe once or twice. It seems to last as long as I make it last - it stops if I just lay off the keys for a second or two, but doesn't stop if I keep trying.
For normal use (maybe 10-15 text messages and a few emails a day), I only see the issue every couple of days, so I've lived with it, in the hope that it will be resolved with the other little issues.
I hope this is of some comfort to you - at least you know it's not a defective device that needs to be returned
Thank you for this quick answer.
I have this problem too

I think i'll wait for the next Firmware-Update and hope HTC fix this problem.

Yeah, I too get that, but sporadically.
Incidentally, if I shove my cat in the microwave and turn it on, is it only dead when I look?
Update:
I've called the HTC-Hotline an tell them about my problem. HTC was not sure if this is a software or hardware fault. So i've send the device to a repair service. After 4 days the device came "unrepaired back".
After playing around i found something out: When i put my Finger on the screen and the device don't response i can write letters with other fingers while my finger is on the screen. If i move this finger, no other letters will pressed and i can write the letter which i "tried to press" before. When i move up my fingers and tap the screen again it works again.
Some people reported the screen is more responsible in 1.61 but i don't want lose my warranty.
Have anybody who have this problem test the 1.61 firmware?

HD2 - dropped

Hi,
I recently dropped my HD2 while I was trying to put it in my pocket (no leather case), and it dropped from one meter approximatively. Nothing seems broken, BUT the on-screen keyboard used to type messages and other stuff seems to type all by itself, and sometimes won't respond to any tactile commands.
The thing is, this only happens in the messaging app, and one day before dropping the phone, I installed HTC's HD2 sms hotfix, so I was thinking that might be the cause of the problems.
Any suggestions? All I tried was a soft reset, which did nothing.
Uninstall sms update. if that doesnt work then hard reset.
If still faulty the get your phone fixed.
I`m sure that it`s because of the drop; the same **** happends in other menus, as well as in mobile word and anything else; i think there is no solution other than getting it fixed...

[Q] Please help with stupid text prob

Hello. I've searched all over, and haven't seen this problem anywhere. Once in awhile when I send a text, it'll send a bunch of gibberish. something like this: ???a???n???d and so on. some of the letters are there in between question marks and upside down question marks. Might be 3 or 4 lines of this. It used to only happen to one perticular recipiant, but now is doing it to several. Might not do it for days, or might happen 10 times in one day. It did it before I rooted my phone, and still does after. I've un- and rerooted. No change. I've rebooted when this happens, sometimes getting it to stop, but not always. I did a factory reset, and it didn't stop. This was all using the factory texting app, so I downloaded handcent. Guess what? Still did it yesterday. I'm about ready to throw this thing against a wall. Anyone have any fixes? Thanks in advance for any help!
Is the gibberish there using qwery or virtual keyboard? Is the gibberish the "alt" equivelent of the letters you are trying to type, as if the alt lock is on? Maybe you're just pressing alt twice and locking it on.
Sent from my T-Mobile G2 using telepathy and unicorn dust!
Its the qwerty keyboard. I don’t use the virtual one at all. The text is usually a question mark or an upside down question mark with the letters I'm trying to type in between. Like this: h?e?l?l?o?. And so on... Btw, it looks fine on my screen before I send it. Looks fine after I send it too.

In android you get the upside down question mark by holding the question mark key. But I'm guessing this is a problem with the phones receiving your message. Very often unrecognized characters (like apostrophes, or accẽnted symbols) will convert to the upside down question mark on ****ty phones. All smartphones can usually recognize these characters.
Are you sure their occurrence is random and not when you use certain characters? Are you sure this isn't just happening on one recipient with a ****ty phone? Can you recreate the issue so it is not random, or is it entirely random?
At first it was one person with a crappy phone, but its happened to 4 people, 2 are smart phones. It might only happen once or twice a week, but when it happens, it gets like stuck in a loop. It will happen every text that I send to the affected person, while other texts to other people are fine. Don’t really know how it finally goes away either. Restarting my phone worked the first few times, but makes no difference now.

Sounds like it might be their phone having trouble receiving the text correctly. but then at the same time if restarting your phone worked (possibly just a coincidence) then it has to be from your phone. you might try reprogramming to your network i think it's *228 and listen for the option to reprogram or you could just try updating the roaming and stuff with the same number different selection. idk if it will work but it couldn't hurt right?

Nexus 4 touchscreen issues

hello people, I lve had my nexus 4 for a while now, never experienced any problems with it on 4.3 neither with 4.4.2, just the overheath thing when browsing websites and such, but recently ive been getting this unresponsive touch in the middle that's not letting me send messages or organize the apps on my main page, I'll explain a little below.
When I slide my finger from top to bottom, just in the middle of the screen my touch seem to go slower and then it like makes a jump and won't recognize the touch in one part, that happens all along the middle of the screen is not just a blind spot, when I write a message and try to send it with the keyboard open, it won't let me touch the "send" bottom I have to minimize the keyboard to be able to send it because the bottom is just in the area where my touchscreen is not working correctly.
I downloaded multi touch tester to verify my touches and I found out that if I make a touch in the middle where I have my issue, the multi touch is recognizing 2 touches at the same time, I'll upload the picture to show how is it recognizing my touches in that specific area.
I'm actually using stock nexus 4 with stock KitKat 4.4.2, I haven't root or anything ever, is the first time I have issues with this phone in the touchscreen, I've also been experiencing some touchscreen freeze where I can't touch anything because it won't work and I have to lock screen and unlock it again for it to start working again.
what I have already done?
I have restart my.phone a couple of time and won't work
i have factory reset it and won't work
I have full charge it with USB and laptop and won't work
and that's about it, I'm sure is a software issues because my phone hasn't drop or anything it just started random and sometimes the phone start to work correctly with no issues but most of the time its not working properly and is frustrating.
PD: sorry for my bad English, not native speaker.
well is not letting me post pictures cus I'm new.

I am facing the same problem. You got any fix for this? Please help....
If you've already did a factory reset I doubt it's a software issue. However you can use one of the guides here explaining how to flash a clean stock factory image. This is the last solution that will eliminate any software sided failure.
Sent from my Nexus 4 using XDA Free mobile app
I am also facing the exact same problem for the past two days, My phone is in perfect condition, not dropped or anything like that.
I think I did some google play updates which where pending for long time.... Do not know what is causing this.
Anyway have started to uninstall the app updates manually, lets see.
A flashing will rule out all software issues. Check whether the touchscreen is working. Enable developer options, then select "Show pointer touches" and the other one just below it (too lazy to check up and tell you what it is; pardon me )
If you're getting normal touch response over the entire screen, then you're facing a software issue. Anything else implies a hardware issue; this may or may not fix itself (somehow; gremlins.)
In either case, let us know what happens. Cheers!

I'm having the exact same issue & tried what you just said. Unfortunately, I'm not getting touch response in one center row of the screen, for that entire row, no resppnse at all.
Is this the problem with touch screen?

Say goodbye to that display. I have to get my display replaced too (clumsy fingers grumblegrumble) and the LG guys say the display unit costs 3750 rupees to replace... Get it done ASAP.
Greetings!
If it is a software issue try re-flashing the stock factory image might as well work
