So I have an Ticwatch S and recently I noticed a slight burn in was show in grey screen, so I wonder isn't Wear OS have build in protection?
Then I go inside Wear OS developer option and I found the "Force display burn-in protection" is off and I try to enable it, it says "It will take effect on restart" but I restarted and it is disabled again, why?

Hello. Recently I've been experiencing problems with the AMOLED display of my Samsung Galaxy S4 i9500, best known as "Burn in" (The display some parts walk marked in a darker color on the display, with the notification bar and browser )
I found this app:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.feetstech.screenburn
It has several settings to run the program (they say that it is recommended to use in Brightest level to best execution)
If one of these App helps reduce the Burn IN, what is the recommended setting in the app?
Thank you.
Screen burns are a result of long-term image displaying.
Leaving the screen on with a static image displaying at a high brightness accelerates the process.
This is hardware degradation through usage. It is very unlikely an app can fix it. The very least it can do is hide it. But it will not magically repair the screen.
Is there any way to stop the phone from vibrating whenever I change panels on the e-ink screen? Switching between the YotaPanels and YotaCover or moving between panels always produces a vibration and I can't find a way to get rid of it.
The same thing when drawing a pattern to unlock the phone when in YotaPanel mode (when drawing the panel in YotaMirror no vibration is produced, as configured).
I got the phone last week and it's still with the original Android 4.4.3 that came with it, in case that makes a difference.
Did you or anybody else figure out how to turn off vibrations on eink?
Go to Settings -> Soubnd & Notification
Disable Vibrate on touch for always on display.
It is working using Android 6.0.1 RU version
Before the update, if I closed my case and put it on its charging dock, it would display the clock. Now I put it on and the screen turns off and displays nothing after a few seconds.
I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong here. I have Always On Display turned on. I've also got the option "Don't show when cover closed" turned OFF, so I should be seeing the clock even when the cover is on, right?
All I want is my clock to display when the case is closed and the phone is docked.
EDIT: Nevermind. I think the "Tap to Show" setting for the AOD might be the culprit.
My phone display has always had a yellowish tint but it's tolerable. Lately though, display turns really yellow and the colors which were pretty vivid before, become washed out. After a couple of hours, display goes back to being okay. Then becomes problematic again. This has become a cycle and it's driving me crazy! Can anyone please help me? Adaptive brightness and blue light filter are turned off.
There's also a display setting called "Display Mode", or "Color Mode", check it too.
Check accessibility settings as well.
You may want to boot into safe mode to check if problem is caused by a user app.

Where can I find Display Mode or Color Mode? And what do they do?
Hi Guys,
I have the Ticwatch Pro 3 and it's great.
But I have a little problem. I love Always on Display (AOD) and in some situations I also like to set the display not to go into dimming mode via StayLit Wear with the "indefinitely" mode. This also worked great with my Huawei Watch 2, even when I put my arm down on the home screen, even if you can see the time normally. If I set the "indefinitely" mode with the StayLit Wear app on the Ticwatch Pro 3, it works that the Ticwatch Pro 3 always remains active, but only if, for example, I have the settings open or I am in the app selection and if an app is open even if I put my arm down. It also works on the home screen when I have my arm up all the time and look at the clock. But as soon as I'm on the homescreen and I turn my arm away or take it down, the watch always goes into dimming mode, despite the "indefinitely" mode of StayLit Wear.
That could actually only be due to the fact that Mobvoi has specified this in some system file for Wear OS, right?
Can I possibly edit the specific system file, or do something via ADB Shell so that I can set it so that the Ticwatch Pro 3 does not go into dimming mode as soon as I turn the arm away or take it down so that it is only time-controlled again is when the display goes into dimming mode and is not forced to dim when I turn my arm away or take it down?
Possibly for better understanding:
So it works with my Huawei Watch 2.
However, with the Huawei it is also the case that the change to the dimming mode does not happen automatically when I turn my arm away or take it down, but it is purely based on the set time of seconds until the display in the AOD is dimmed.
With the Ticwatch, however, this is set somewhere in such a way that the display not only goes into dimming mode based on the set seconds, but also presumably controlled by a sensor, from a certain angle regardless of the set seconds, immediately goes into dimming mode.
And I want to get rid of the sensor, that the dimming mode is forced and my question is whether someone knows where I can do that.
Thank you in advance for your feedback.
