The Prime version of the US997 has all the carrier-specific features from AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon that the regular US997 does not have. Unfortunately, the Prime version also has a locked bootloader. Might it be possible to flash the Prime version firmware to a US997 with an already unlocked bootloader? What typically happens when firmware from a locked phone model is flashed to the unlocked model? Is it possible to only cross-flash specific partitions like the CSC or AP like in Samsung models (when using Odin)?

Hi
I have Verizon S5 G900V. It is sim unlocked and I do not use Verizon services in my country. I have upgraded it to MM6.0.1 rooted and unlocked bootloader. I would like to ask that is it possible to flash G900F stock rom to this Verison USA based varient as it is running in Dev Mode after unlocking bootloader??
Title says it all. Has anyone flashed successfully the Carrier specific Nougat 7.x FW to the unlocked Edge SM-G935U model?
What are the steps? What functions work/do not work?
Get hold of a firmware and flash it through Odin... since hardware is the same there should be no compatibility issues on that level.
If you flash a different firmware, can it unlock different bands based on which firmware you flashed?
For example, I plan on buying a verizon S7E, if I flash it to either the u firmware or t-mobile firmware, will it unlock band 12?
Has I9505 bootloader locked?
I think it hasn't...
Just flash "twrp.tar" via odin and "Magisk.zip" or "SuperSU.zip" via twrp.

Some US models have.
The s4 from at&t is a gsm model that has a locked bootloader. The other usa models are CDMA.
Does anyone have recent experience flashing carrier firmware to the unlocked (U1) model, especially on BL5? Does it still require combination firmware or can I just flash the latest AT&T firmware from Updato using regular Odin?
It would just be regular firmware from at&t. The same way if you wanna flash back to the unlocked firmware. No combination files are needed.
