Speaker phone on this is one of the best I've ever experienced. Loud/Punchy and clear!

I noticed a crackling noise when turning the volume up and listen to deep voice in videos or similar freqencies. But the speakers are awesome - very loud, clear and the only thing I miss is the bass, which isn't possible for those tiny speakers.
The stereo works also quiet well but if you look directly on the screen, the ear speaker sounds a bit louder than the bottom speaker, because it sounds directly into your direction.

It is possible, that this problem was already discussed, but I haven't found that thread.
After the second Android 10 update on my hongkong version of Galaxy S10, I found, that sound quality from internal speakers is way worse than before. Too much high frequency, which make sound buzzy and flat. After some experiments, I found out, that devs changed the default "flat" equalizer, although graphically it remains the same. To restore the original sound quality, eq should look like this: 125 hz +1.5, 250 hz +3 (out of 5).
P.S. Atmos and other soft enhancements were not used, because of uselessness.
P.P.S The update came out just before the launch of s20 series, which were considered as worse sounding devices, than s10 series. I don't believe in Samsung anymore.

I tested at the IFA, which was a pretty loud environment and volume was similar to my Axon 7 despite the V30 having only a mono side speaker. Clarity was good, less distorted than Axon 7 at high volume, but hard to judge because the environment was loud. I will wait for GSMarena#s audio testing.
Pleasantly surprised by the speaker. Gets loud enough but I wouldn't say particularly louder than any phone. Pretty good quality however.
Seriously speaking... this is probably the only "meh" feature of this phone. Glad to hear the simple mono set up is fairly good for what it is though.
I used the G4 H815 since 2015 and comparing, the V30 is not so loud or clear. The G4 gets even louder if over a surface with the screen up. The curve let to the speaker space to "create" some kind of amplifying "sound box".
The 3.5 jack on the top is also a minus for my kind of use and my car setup...

Problem during call
I'm having a problem with my phone. When i make call using earphones and then during call when i remove it then speakers of the phone doesn't work for 5 to 6 seconds. I was not able to hear the person on the call. Is it just with my phone or anyone else is facing same problem.
While it can get quite loud it's only a mono speaker with slight distortion on max volume. Considering the price its above average but nothing amazing.

Agree with you.
I use RE Equalizer to improve the quality of the external speaker. It's quite better, works with musical players, video players, YouTube etc.., and no need to root.

its fine for calls, but pales in comparison to an iPhone. They really should have gone with a side firing and earpiece loudspeaker for stereo effect.
Great for BT with AptXHD quality coming through my Sony WI1000X in ear BT headphones
This has one of the worst speakers for music I have heard in a long time on a phone. Very loud and good lows for spoken news or voice calls, but when the opening music of a game that I play everyday plays, since I have heard it so many times through other phones, it was definitely noticeable how poorly sounding it was. Stereo would have definitely helped. Since it is so muffled to begin with, when holding vertical with one hand it is often being blocked as well. Pixel 2, iPhone X, and S8 were my others to compare with.

For me, the sound is flawless. I have also installed ViPER4Android and was pleasantly surprised with the results. I haven't tried BlueTooth audio, but the headphones, mic and the phone speaker are - IMHO - among the best in its class.

Compared to a Moto Z, the in-call voice quality is inferior (dull and flat). The speaker is alright but nothing to write home about.

Like to know too. How's the earpiece volume, i mean can you hear a soft speaking sound when you put the phone 50cm in front of you?
It's pretty good in my opinion, my ears are not very good so I can't really tell the audio quality that well but it's plenty good at its price point. Gets loud enough to fill a room and doesn't get tinny even if you turn it all the way up as far as I can hear. Besides the fact that it's easy to cover since there's only one port it's good enough if you're not an audiophile.
Can confirm audio is excellent. Even with Galaxy Earbuds Plus!
Definitely a big upgrade from my Oneplus 3!
It's louder and sounds better.
Can't say something about the earpiece, because I didn't use it a lot
Using it to call other people or checking some Youtube, it's really loud en pretty clear. Distortion is from the speaker itself is at normal volume OK. At higher volumes it is a bit worse.
Good to know, the whole phone acts like a soundbox. So it sound like it has Stereo, but hasn't. Because of this the whole phone vibrates.
