Does TMobile support VoLTE? If it does You can try TMobile firmware which would have VoLTE enabled in the csc files

You can't trip know on a US snap dragon device. All the csc is. Is carrier information and settings....
I can't say you can't trip Knox but in our everyday flashing. Even being rooted we cannot trip Knox.

Hi guys, so I deccided to update my Kitkat to the new Lollipop. Biggest msitake this week. Its been 4 days that I've been tryign to fix this with no luck.
So I lost my LTE connection and I cannot get it back. I flashed so many modems and bootloaders with no luck. Some will give me 3g but never LTE even though the modem says LTE on it. Random reboots. Can someone please help!?

It says "Connection problem or invalid MMI code"
Mind you I tried different basebands and bootloader via Odin.

Can you please elaborate a bit? What happened? I flashed a custom ROM why did it do that?
And where do I find a stock Lollipop ROM?

1. This seems problem of the custom ROM. You can ask in the correct thread of the custom rom or simply flash stock lollipop (step 2).
2. HERE.

There is no Lollipop for mine. There is only 4.4.2? What do I do here?
And isn't there a way for correcting this without reflashing stock ROM?

You can flash UK Lollipop firmware if is unlocked. They use the same Bands for 4G:
- Australia -> 4G LTE Optus 1800/2300Mhz.
- UK -> 4G LTE 800/1800Mhz/2600Mhz/3500/3600Mhz.

I know that the AT&T and T-Mobile variant of the S7E can use the custom international firmware, but can our variant do the same? Like can I use any of the SM-G935U or SM-G935F, I know this is a newbie question, but I'm asking because I had a S4 and I could load custom roms on my S4, but I'm not sure about now since I switched to iphone then switched back.

Do you have the U phone? If it's the U firmware you have then you can flash major US carrier firmware onto the phone and vice versa.

So I'm guessing that the SM-G935F firmware is something I can't install on my SM-G935V, since its using different hardware than my phone? (Kinda wanted to ask because theres more selection on the F firmware than the U firmware

You're right. The F cannot be installed unless someone finds a way to port it over but the U firmware can be flashed without a problem.

From what I've seen that is correct. There are different roms available for each carrier as well if you plan on swapping a lot.

If the local carriers don't support VoLTE, nothing you do can allow you to use it.

Yes it will brick. Basically your only option is a new phone.

Don't flash BTU. Your phone will be bricked. As all International models are in exynos you can't flash an exynos Rom over snapdragon
Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
For VoLTE you need an Indian localized rom (for Samsung usually the local unbranded one works, too). Since in India the Exynos variant is distributed you will have a hard time to find a suitable rom for your Snapdragon one. If your provider does not have any app based solution you may be out of luck.
Volte mobile is good i love all features and speed of this phone. I like its work fast and did not hung.

I was in the same boat... Just flashed a U firmware over USA model and rooted it.
Then via flashfire, Flash this CSC Which was basically pulled out from S8 CSC selector file by @Tkkg1994
VoLTE should pop-up after reboot.
Even wifi calling toggle comes up but Jio is yet to implement the feature (Don't turn it on... you'll miss calls when on wifi)
Thank the original developers.

Hello everyone, I'm looking for a ROM stock that have these things: VoLTE, unbranded, and that appears the LTE data indicator (not 4G). I using the CSC TPA and this ROM doesn't have the VoLTE function. Note: I don't want root the phone (yet).

stay on what you're using then. based on what i think if your carrier provider csc doesnt support volte then you're out of luck.
or yiu are on the wrong fw for your country which then you can use odin to flash it and you don't need root to do so

I have an unlocked S8(GM-950u1) and I don't have VOLTE option. So if I want to have volte as an option, can I flash my phone to (GM-950FD)? If no, which firmware should I flash such that I get VOLTE as an option?

You might be able to flash your carriers csc and it may be enabled then. Thus turning the device into a 950u. But any f is a exynos edition and cannot be in anyway flashed to a u device
