Just get the ROM you want to install and follow any of the traditional rooting methods. Check out stickied and read this before posting posts. Do some googling along the way for roms while you're at it.

I apologize in advance if this is the wrong thread to post in. But it was the closest matching to my issue. I am trying to root my DRA-LX2 but I need to unlock the bootloader on my phone, for which i need to be able to flash to the device.
I'm not able to do that using SP Flash Tool due to the restrictions imposed on this phone.
I'm not able to do a readback as well.

I think my last option is the test point method but I'm not able to find the test point locations for this phone anywhere.
If anyone can help me out here, that would be great

I got a guide to root my old galaxy s 2 here and it was easy to spot in the forum but I'm having trouble finding a guide to root my i9505 UK Vodafone model. I've looked here and found two guides but people seem to have problems with them. I looked at galaxys4root.com as well but the guide seems to be only for US carriers, and someone tried it on their UK phone and didn't get root access using TWRP method.
I promise you I'm not a lazy bastard just wanting somebody to do legwork for me, I have read for hours and can't find a method I am sure will work.

Hello everyone.
First of all i apologise if this has been asked before but i got confused reading through hundreds of replies and needed a clearer answer.
So here's my situation :
I flashed android 5.0.1 chinese leak as soon as it got out. I followed the tutorial wich contained all 5 files and used all of them to flash ( frankly not knowing their function ).
Now i want to flash the official firmware but dont know what steps to take not to soft brick my phone and get unknown baseband & imei. Any help and advice is welcome.

Thanks I got it done through TEKHDs guide bricked it once but figured it out, got twrp 3.0.0-1 too
hello i have recently purchased a strait talk samsung galaxy S5 model # SM-S902L and have been trying to root the device.
i have used the TWRP and Odin method as towel root says it is not supported the method i have been trying to use is located here on the XDA forums her:

the problem i seem to be having is Odin is flashing and the phone is accepting the flash even the flashing screen says i am running a custom OS how ever both titanium backup and root checker are saying i do not have root privileges....what am i doing wrong here? any one have any idea or that can help?
i found a stock rom in that thread as well i was thinking about flashing it then trying the TWRP method again.

Just got a new update out of no where on my Honor 7X. I thought our device was done with updates. But I'm very exited for VoWiFi here and that Smart Battery feature looks exciting. I haven't seen any news or post about this, does it mean am I one of the first one?

Does anyone have a downloadable firmware for this build?
Dose anyone have Stock ROM for this version. Im trying to root my device(tries i did so far over here). TWRP recovery image installation - unable to install. So now im trying to root my phone without TWRP recovery(ref).
I tried to search over the internet. My build no is 9.1.0.168(C675E7R1P1)
But, all im able to find is 9.1.0.140/125 as the closest.
So, any possibility of getting this specific Stock ROM ?!
