Hey people!
I would like to ask how do people actually change the status bar icons style and everything.
When i had OP5 on Oreo , I had Xposed installed and i had Flat style status bar.
How do i customize it on the 6T on Pie without Xposed?
???

Pitch black theme, I believe has status bar customization.
Edit: just checked it's disabled for stock OOS.

I'm currently rooted on PG1 with Xposed. Are there any methods to remove the AM/PM next to the clock in the status bar? It's a huge eyesore for me. I tried a bunch of Samsung-related modules (XTouchWiz, Wanam Xposed, etc.) and GravityBox MM, but none of them would do the trick. Is there a build.prop edit I could do? Thanks in advance.
I used flat style bar indicator (xposed) to get rid of AM/PM.

Thanks, that worked! I also made it look very Nexus-like.

Check out: Ozone - A substratum module for OOS Oreo
The original post indicates "Optional 8.1 statusbar icons". Be aware that at least one person posted that this mod did not work with Oreo 5.0.2, but I couldn't confirm that or if that has been fixed if it's true.
DESIRE and Valerie works fine too and they're 100% compatible with Oos (Yes, they change the statusbar icons)

Substratum themes can do that. Just search for it on play store. Your need substratum theme engine running(see xda forums).
Hey guys, as you know google is using a blue accent color for their system UI, sadly (IMO) essential is using a green accent and i would love to change this.
maybe someone knows how to change this accent color somewhere, maybe in the build prop or in the system.ui itself?
i attached a screenshot of which parts of the system ui i mean, its the notifcation area.
hoping for some usefull answers
EDIT: Simple as that, just use an substratum theme (pixel theme in my case)
Substratum works on 9?
Sai theme pie from telegram is the best subs theme
does it require root? In oreo Sai's theme worked without root.

Magisk and install the pixel experience module
Try this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.treydev.pns
Also note....don't build the initial Sai with Navigation selected. Do the Settings, quick settings, UI etc..but don't select Navigation..anytime I've done that, then rebooted the first time, bootloop.
Then, once you enable it in the manager, go back and select Navigation and build/enable it in the Themes section. Then, reboot and it will magically change you quick tile settings to the black/blue color. Found this method out experimenting, on the latest beta/build as well on Pie. You shouldn't have to go into Manager and select Navigation, it will be gold in color, different from the others, but it will be enabled and working on the quick tiles.
Good luck.
We have a mod coming out to change the accents..stay tuned

Not possible no matter what without root. U could manually install the files while rooted, then unroot and it will be there but why....
Hi guys, maybe it seems silly, but I would like to know some app to customize the status bar with root, I do not want to install Gravity box because it needs Xposed.

Dark Material OOS Linear (personal favorite), Ethereal, Outline. All of these substratum themes offer Custom icons on status bar with color options.
