Pie version to flash via fastboot - OnePlus 5 Questions & Answers

Does anybody have Pie stable version to flash via fastboot? I had major issues to update my phone where I ended up in soft bricked mode. Manged to fix in the end up I'm currently on Oreo.
I would like to get to Pie by flashing it via fastboot and restore all partitions correctly. Feels like something is dodgy although the phone seems to be working. For instance, booting into TWRP and looking in the filesystem I get these random named folders, just like it looks like your internal storage is corrupted. In windows it looks OK when phone is hooked up via USB. So I want to restore all partitions correctly but on Pie and not Oreo version. I hope I make some sense in my request. Thanks for any help in advance.

How to unbrick LG G2 without data loss? (Please help)

Hello!
I have an LG G2 D802 which was running Resurrection Remix v5.8.5 (Nougat 7.1.2) prior to this happening.
I was trying to get a new emoji pack, and attempted to do so by flashing the downloaded emoji.zip file as a Magisk module. However, upon flashing it, I realized that i had apparently flashed the wrong zip file or a corrupted one.
Anyways, my phone is in a bootloop now and stays on the LG logo forever when turned on.
I had a Blastagator TWRP recovery, but now I can't access that either. That could be so due to the recovery somehow being broken by the module (?) or TWRP generally not being able to be started by using the power/volume down keys in Resurrection Remix. (not sure about that, but I saw a recent post on here stating so)
It seems like I only have download mode now. I have also tried to connect the phone to my PC and flash a recovery and backup my data via ADB and fastboot, but none can recognize my device. (When typing adb devices, fastboot devices and attempting to give any commands) I have also tried using the commands while in download mode, but the result was the same.
I didn't make a nandroid backup because I didn't have enough space and I also thought that what I was doing was a routine task. How naive, I was, I know...
Now, the problem is that I need all my data, (like photos, also WhatsApp messages, other images, downloads, etc.) but I don't know how to retrieve them. When connected to a PC, my phone is recognized as a device, but nothing more than that. I can't transfer files from, nor to it. I know that the phone could easily be unbricked by using the LG flash tool and the KDZ method, but that would result in a complete data loss.
Is there any way for me to unbrick it without losing data? Now, I don't know anything about this, but I thought of several possible options, like somehow flashing a custom recovery and then transferring the files, but then again the recovery might be still enabled, just not accessible because of RR. I've also thought about converting the RR flashable ZIP file into KDZ or TOT, but I don't know whether that's doable. Another option is some kind of magic PC program that retrieves data from download mode, i don't know...
Anyways I just need to somehow access and transfer all the data to my computer and then i can do the KDZ method. Repairing the current OS as-is is a plus, but not necessary. Any suggestions?

soft briced p10 lite, Help Please..

Hi
I got my self in quite a pickle here..
so advice or help is very welcomed.
I own a Huawei P10 lite,
with a software version WAS-LX1AC900B049
First off I unlocked the phone, then flashed TWRP recovery, and thus far everything was ok
I wanted to install Lineage 14.1 OS, and I failed because my version of the phone is not supported..
but during attempt installation of Lineage OS , I deleted data, system, dalvik, and cashe..
I did not make a backup!!! (major mistake, I know..)
so effectively I deleted my OS :-/ ..
but it isn’t over jet..
because I could not find a stock rom, namely WAS-LX1AC900B049 version
I thought of debranding my phone to Orange, namely WAS-LX1AC109B110 because stock roms for Orange are available on the net.
so.. using TWRP I replaced oeminfo file..
(this time making a backup of oeminfo)
but once I downloaded Orange stock rom, put it on the
sdcard in /dload folder and entered download mode on the phone, nothing happened, update failed
but.. also changing oeminfo resets the system so I guess that turned off USB debugging..
so now the TWRP is not available because of the system reset, and in the fastboot and rescue mode , adb program from Windows, does not detect device..
so..
it seems I have 3 options..
1. somehow install Orange stock rom
2. make fastboot and rescue mode to work properly so I can reinstall TWRP and go further from there
3. find original stock rom WAS-LX1AC900B049, may be it will work
by the way erecovery does not work, it conects to the wifi, starts serching, and then fails
Help please..
I unbricked the phone
for anyone interested I used adb to unlock the phone in fastboot and rescue mode..
the phone was showing me a message that it was unlocked but it was not
once unlocked previously installed TWRP booted immediately, so from there I installed Lineage 14.1 by HassanMirza01 and it works great
Happy that you fixed your problem but how did adb detected your device as you mentioned it didn't at the first place?
Planning on going back to stock and I think the same trouble would happen for me too.
oH MY GOD!

Motorola G2 XT1068 problem after flashing omni

Hello, i decided to open new thread because I nowhere find solution. My problem is that after flashing my moto g2 with omni 6.0.1 it get stuck on warning message (about unlocked bootloader). Now I can only get into bootloader menu, connect phone to PC (it's showing dewice as motorola dadb interface),I can only flash twrp using fastboot (fastboot boot twrp.img) and that's it. I can not flash anything permanently to the phone: any custom recovery, any rom, can't fix it with logofix. It just look like phone doesn't accept any flash. I tried also to change boot and other img but with no succes, always after any operation when I reboot phone it's get to warning message.
My phone is motorola 2G xt1068, 8gb, bootloader ver 48.87. Once I tried to flash it with retail rom from sd card via twrp 3.8.0.1 it shows that previous system was omni-titan 6.0.1 and retaildsdsall can not be flash, always shows error 7.
I wonder if I can flash it with upper version of omni: 7.0.1 to fix the problem with booting the phone.
If You could give me any advise how to solve the problem, I would be very appreciate.
Waitng for your reply Guys.
After a lot of tryes I found that anythig I do on the phone after restart it's getting to the same state, even if I manually deleted folder "Firmware", after reboot it's going back. When I prepared Moto for installing new rom using Philz recovery, all the data stay on it's place ( I mean private data like thumbnails in DCIM folder etc), nothing dissapeared. It's look like it have some copy of the system in internal storage and always after rebooting it's recovering it back, even if the system is flashed by new rom.
Have U any idea what's wrong with this phone?
Additinally I found that a lot of internal memory is busy: over 4500MB and free is only 780MB. Even after wiping everything, also formatting system.Should it be like this?
Edit: 2018-02-15
Ok, if noone could help me let's treat it as a blog.
Digging in google I found spanish site with a lot of custom roms for motorola. Now I'm trying one by one till I found the right one.
It's a pitty that Father's of the omni rom leaving me lonely in that situation, I think that they are the best of source of informations about that rom.
2018.02.19
I tried to install OmniRom 6.0.1 Homemade but on the beginning I had the infothat installation failed with error 7. So I found the solution to change the information in meta-info folder.I did it but when instalation started after "symlinkig" it stopped with error: some symlinks failed, error 7. And again I stucked.I feellike I'm very close of the solution but I need help. I'm using twrp 3.2.1.0 running via fastboot (boot twrp.img).

Xiaomi Mi 9T Wiped Of All Software And Data Via TWRP But Can't Flash Pixel Experience

I accidentally wiped everything on my device when following a not-so-informative youtube video, it was my own fault for not questioning their steps at all, and I was going to install an update to Pixel Experience as it wasn't letting me do it normally. I have TWRP installed and I can boot into either that or fastboot manually but it won't let me transfer files from my PC onto my Xiaomi Mi 9T via Sideload, Mount, Drag and Drop, MTP is enabled and no other means I can think of work. Everything on my phone is able to be replaced as it was all in the cloud but I need my phone at the moment and from the research I've done I believe this should be a straightforward fix however, since I can't get the software onto my phone I can't boot to it. It also won't let me transfer the firmware required and so I get ERROR: 7 and "This package requires baseband from atleast V12.0.2.0.QFJMIXM. Please upgrade firmware and retry!" My PC recognises the phone is connected and can view the files on it but every time I try to drag anything into it it looks like it's going to work and then it just stops.
If you have any other information you require to assist me I will try to be as helpful as possible however, I am quite new to this so using laymens terms would be preferable.
Did you read the instructions on the pixel experience topic? First you need to flash the firmware package for your device from here: https://xiaomifirmwareupdater.com/firmware/davinci/
Then flash the rom and format data. This should work.
I installed pixel experience this week and so far it is going well, I had to update from miui 11.0.1.0 android 9 to miui 12.0.3.0 so that ALL the system will be updated to android 10, and then I proceeded to install the pixel experience via twrp. Try to install Miui 11.0.1.0 and configure it, then from the system settings you look for the latest update, make sure the system has been updated to Android 10 before installing pixel experience. Try to use xiaomi flash tool to make a clear install

After "Format Data", you need to reboot your phone in TWRP to fix that.

Soft brick on oneplus 6T after version upgrade from Lineage OS

Hi there,
So I unknowingly did something kinda risky and of course, it backfired. I used the in-system update feature of linage OS to upgrade my version on my Oneplus 6T. Can't exactly remember which one the old version was, but it was at least 4 versions older than the newest nightly one. Afterward, the phone got stuck in a boot loop. Also, in recovery, it can't bind/ mount the system, because there is no file directory. "E:Failed to bind mount /mnt/staging/emulated/media/0 to /storage/emulated: No such file or directory." I tried the following:
- went into recovery, factory reset the device, then flashed new clean lineage os [multiple different versions]. Gets back to boot loop afterward. (note that Fastboot shows no bootloader version or baseband version)
- tried unlocking the bootloader via fastboot flashing unlock. It fails with error code: (remote: Unrecognized command flashing unlock)
- tried copying the contents of slot a to b, in case one was severely outdated as the cause for the soft brick as stated in this guide. Didn't change mentioned issue after flashing os.
- installed Qualcomm USB drivers, to get the PC to detect the phone as a USB device
- after that, tried using the ms-downloader tool to reset and re-flash the phone. It does not get detected and the downloader tool waits for the full 15s before returning the error for no detected device.
- tried unlocking the bootloader itself via fastboot flashing unlock_critical. same error as with normal unlock: (remote: Unrecognized command flashing unlock)
Maybe overwriting the possibly corrupt bootloader would be a good bet, but as mentioned, I cannot unlock the device to make the command for that useable.
Hey, so I am not really knowledgeable enough to help fix this, but I did notice one thing: Why are you using the wiki page from Lineage for the OnePlus 6 (enchilada) instead of the 6t (fajita)?

I didn't even notice it was for enchilada, but iirc the file I loaded was only to copy the contents of slot a to slot b. I could search for a fajita version of this. Still, thanks for your reply.
Hi there,
I have the exact same problem. After updating my OP 6T, the cell phone was broken. It's stuck in a reboot loop. Which surprises me, however, because the documentation for this device type recommends that the update be carried out using the system's internal update process. I also noticed that some OTA updates work and some don't. Unfortunately, this is the only way to make use of it very little fun because you never know if the phone is working again when you update. And the security weaknesses show that updates are also important for Lineageos. thanks for the feedback

I still got the stock recovery. Booting from TWRP image didn't work on my last try, I don't remember the exact specifics anymore. I'll try again.

Oof, I thought mine only got bricked because I tried to upgrade across 4 versions. It seems as though even normal updates now cause soft bricks, neat.
I tried again today but there seems to be a connection to the error. I had an update pending, which could be installed without any problems. After the restart, I was informed that there was another update, after installing this update there was a total failure again. Could it be that this is somehow related to slot A / B?
