I just updated to 9.0.11. I believe this is McLaren edition specific. All McLaren features still work on mine. Also seems like it's faster and smoother now. Damn I love this phone!

The site doesn't have the McLaren ROMs, only the generic ones.

No I'm not. 100% stock right now. I haven't needed unlock/root just yet. I most likely will in the near future. Sorry brotha. I know you can relock the bootloader and unroot then download the OTA but that is a pain. It may be the only way for now until someone uploads the zip...

Hi, This is 34_OTA
McLaren is 45_OTA
Do you have an actual McLaren device or a device with a McLaren Ported ROM?

34 ist correct. Also saved mine while the update was being executed.

Of course I have a real McLaren phone.
And the two updates I have received from stock 9.0.9 to 9.0.10 and 9.0.11 have both been with 34_OTA in the filename.
As far as I know 45_OTA doesn't exist, McLaren is still a OnePlus 6T.

Mine is also A6013_45, and 34_OTA was the file I automatically retrieved to my McLaren A6013_45

Yes I do. Everything seems to have rolled over fine. Update screen was not the bouncing thingies but simply the G logo. Haven't rebooted to see.. oh just a little of the dots, then a quick G and then it was up. Like maybe 10 seconds for a reboot. Wow.

Always On Ambient Display
Either, this didn't make it through in my update somehow or I'm overlooking the setting.
Can anyone offer any help on enabling this feature?
Thanks!

Where is the setting for always on ambient display? All I see is the regular ambient display, where it turns on for new notifications.

I've asked around and consensus seems to be that it was NOT included in this update after all. Looks like they're saving it for the Pixel 2.

Im on fi I just downloaded the ota and then sideloaded it.
Go to settings - display - advanced and it will be towards the bottom.
Nevermind, misread. It is only for notifications. You can make it turn on when you pick it up though. By turning on "lift to check phone"

I use the modded one for O here. You need to fastboot and load TWRP every time you use it because it is not flashable yet.

There are also 8.0.0 factory images as well (along with the usual older factory images) - they are all here: http://www.infinitiofsuitland.com/VehicleSearchResults?search=new
To play it safe, I grabbed one 7.1.2 and one 8.0.0 factory image for the Pixel to put through the wringer (since this would be the first Pixel I've ever put through the paces).

Anyway to revert from Oreo bootloader locked screen to Nougat style one?

Short of reverting to Nougat that is -- Is there a way to get rid of the new-style bootloader-locked screen that's the first thing you see on start-boot? I'd like to replace it with the Nougat style that allows you to hit a key and go right past it. I thought I'd seen a thread on how to do that here but if anyone knows, much appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
Oh yes -- It's a oneplus 5 and basically running that latest ob18 + NoLimits.

You can just dirty flash OOS and it'll get updated again, since the OOS zip also contains the firmware (of which the bootloader is a part).

If that's the case, then you can save the attached zip which has the new bootloader from OB18, in case you want to revert.

Factory OxygenOS OTA Updates - Where is download location

OnePlus 6T McLaren
I'm looking to snag the OTA zip file when doing a factory update. Where exactly is the zip file downloaded to during update?
-TIA
Duh.. Not sure how I missed it first time I looked. You just have to grab it before you let it reboot to finish installing update. After that its deleted.

There are no "McLaren" builds.
After the McLaren version was released the builds are unified.
The McLaren difference is charging hardware and 10GB vs 8GB memory for the largest configuration.
When the ROM is installed and run, the software recognizes the difference.

What'd you use to root 107-75? I updated to it as soon as I received the phone, but didn't check if there was a root available prior and I couldn't find an updated stock ROM to patch the boot.img. No luck going to an earlier version, but maybe I was doing something wrong.
Thanks!

To my knowledge, you can flash any of the different variants (KB05AA,-BA,-BD,...) on any phone and they'll work.
So you can use the roll back zip, which takes you back to OOS 11.11, and then install the version you want (KB05BA) of OOS 11.13.
I don't know what they mean, but I assume KB is for kebab, and AA is for the global variant, BA is for the EU variant, and BD is for the Indian variant.
But that naming convention seems to have gone out the window with OOS 12.

It is a pleasure to inform you that I was able to rollback to Android 11. At first I used the EU MSM Tool but I got the DDR error, so I tried the International one and it worked without any issues. I must admit I was pretty nervous tbh. I used to do this a lot on my xiaomi mi max 2, but this phone is quite expensive to end up with a brick xd.
