TWRP flash problem. Please help.

Hello!
I have weird problem with flashing TWRP recovery on my Nexus 4.
There are steps I done to flash:
1. Boot into fastboot mode.
> fastboot reboot-bootloader
> fastboot erase recovery
> fastboot flash recovery *img. name*
> fastboot reboot
2. System booted up, so I shutdown phone.
3. Boot into fastboot mode again, then choosed "recovery mode"
And here is the problem: Instead of TWRP recovery, I have green Android with red triangle...
Could you help me? Is it bug or something?
Thanks in advance.
Greetings.

After you flashed the recovery try rebooting straight to recovery instead of rebooting normally first.

attempting to boot TWRP gives blank screen

I don't really want to flash TWRP if it's not necessary to and I can just boot into it. And i'd rather see that I can boot into it before I flash it.
I understand that if i'm in the boot loader screen then I can issue the command fastboot boot twrp.img and it should go into the twrp boot loader without me needing to flash the boot loader to be twrp.
But it seems for some reason that when I issue that command I get a blank screen. The phone restarts and goes to a blank screen.
My phone is a nexus 4. I have android 4.3
I have downloaded twrp, from https://dl.twrp.me/mako/ I've tried the latest, that's
twrp-3.0.2-0-mako.img and i've tried the oldest, that's twrp-2.3.2.3-mako.img and I face the same issue
TIA
The bootloader is unlocked?
Yeah, bootloader is unlocked.
In the end I decided to forget about that command (fastboot boot twrp.img) and just flash the recovery. so, this command fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
I made sure to have the stock recovery too (recovery.img from an archive file from https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images )
so I could flash that it back to stock, if flashing twrp recovery didn't work. But it worked.
I guess maybe the reason why I got/would get/get a black screen with my command, was because fastboot boot blah.img is to boot a kernel, not to boot a recovery? (I don't know if my terminology is all wrong?)

zuk z1 bootloader locked when twrp installed

what i messed up?
i have installed custom official cynogen14.1 rom and twrp recovery. everything was working fine.
but i messed up with bootloader. I have locked oem from fastboot mode without enabling option for oem unlocking in developer settings.
Now as my phone have custom rom and twrp installed it went into bootloop and only shows zuk logo and again restart.
What i diid till now?
i have opened backcover so that i can turn of bootloop and phone by disconecting battery.
I can enter into fastboot mode by pressing vol.+ and vol- buttons sumultaneously and connecting usb cable.
But i cannot unlock bootloader as it says unlocking bootloader not allowed. I have tried device specific commads like "fastboot -i 0x2b4c oem unlock" and "fastboot -i 0x2b4c oem unlock-go" but nothing works.
i have stock recovery image but cannot flash while bootloader is locked.
i can enter into adb sideload by following method:
by loading stock recovery by typing "fastboot boot recovery.img" (this does not work with twrp as it says signature varification failed)
and then selecting apply update >> selecting apply fron adb
this much i can do does anyone knows how to recover from such a state.
please help me or my phone will be a waste.
is there any way to install stock recovery i think phone will boot properly if i managed to install stock recovery.

The message not signed or corrupt is normal because TWRP is signed with an not official signed key.
After flashing official TWRP by fastboot
Code:
fastboot flash recovery name-of-recovery.img
you should immediately boot again to TWRP to make it stick.
You can do that by typing
Code:
fastboot reboot recovery
or if that doesn't work by the key command (power and vol down).

can‘t install or boot images on Oneplus 6t

Hi! My goal is to install twrp recovery on my Oneplus 6t but when i flash it with the command fastboot flash boot twrp.img it does just boot into fastboot mode and the OS is deleted. i can’t use the command fastboot flash recovery twrp.img because i believe i have an A/B Partitioned device because everytime i use this command it says soemthing like: can’t find recovery_a. I can‘t use the command fastboot boot twrp.img because everytime i use this command the phone is stuck on the fastboot splash screen. I need help!
You should flash a fastboot rom of your device to fix this problem
The command is fastboot boot twrp.img. You can only boot it not flash it from fastboot. Once In twrp you can make it permanent in the settings
