I was just following this tutorial https://forum.xda-developers.com/samsung-a-series/general/guide-how-to-root-samsung-galaxy-a9pro-t3859241
I successfully installed TWRP via Odin but when I'm trying to boot to TWRP it says: No commands with an Android robot and a alert, then it force me to stock recovery with a message that says: no file or directory found under the bottom
Help me, I'm using SM-A910F

Hi all,
I am stuck at stock recovery. Can anybody help me to restore stock ROM?
Here is the story:
After I root GTAB manually according to that thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=859712, I tried to apply the GPS trick explained @ http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=922692
Actually instead of using root explorer to place the files, I tried to replace files in zip file manually(via adb). It looks like something was wrong and device doesn't boot normally anymore. It just reboots to recovery instead. In addition, adb still founds device during recovery but "adb shell" gives an error saying link error. I assume "sh" binary was depending on one of the files I modified.
So, is there an instruction to restore stock ROM on the device.
My current recovery screen says:
Android System Recovery 3e
Samsung Recovery Utils
for BML
- Reboot System
- apply sdcard: update.zip
- wipe data /factory ...
- wipe cache
...
Installing Multi-CSC
All information related to flashing/recovering a device at recovery can be found at

I also had to use trick mentioned at that thread to get rid of blank screen after first boot:

Hi , newbie help needed here!
have tried to root my moto and installed twrp properly. everything stopped working fine after i tried to install supersu. i tried to reflash stock image however for some reason twrp stopped working and I cannot run cwm either. the errors from cwm read:
"unable to load kernel"
while on twrp the system kept looping while attempting to install - i got errors such as "cannot find e: data" or "cannot mount e:" etc.
Has anyone come across this situation? Thanks in advance.
How did you get cwm recovery when it's still not available for mxp?...
Download stock firmware and RSD lite and flash it. RSD lite only works on windows 7.. otherwise you have to flash firmware manually.

Download & install minimal adb and fastboot.Extract the firmware to that folder and then enter the fastboot commands

Hi, when I boot into recovery mode I see the following message: #fail to open recovery cause(no such file or directory)#
My S8 (sm-g950u1) has been flashed stock firmware (crk3), is not rooted and boots fine.
Also, when I tried to install an update from sd card (named "update" and placed at the root of the sd card) I get a failed to verify signature and "error 21."
Thanks in advance

I found the answer myself, and will post it here as advice to others. I am running Ubuntu 18.04 and heimdall-flash from the official repository. I assume that that's the root of the problem, but don't know for sure.
Anyway, the solution is to use odin instead of heimdall to flash TWRP. Odin is a Windows-only program. The instructions and downloads are found here. It's quite easy and fast, and after booting into TWRP, just switch back to the official LineageOS installation instructions and continue with the 'adb sideload' command.
Hello, i hope someone can help me. My goal was to install lineageos on the A20e. So i unlocked the bootloader succesfully. Then i wanted to install TWRP. I used heimdall for flashing (with: heimdall flash --recovery twrp.img). The process ended without any errors. But since this point the phone stuck in download mode. When i restart the phone (volume down + power) the phone runs rapidly into the download mode. On the top left corner it show an error message (look at the screenshots). I tryed to flash twrp again for two or three times and one times the orange recovery - the results are the same.
I can still reach the phone via heimdall or odin. i have downloades the latest stock rom. So i hope to unbrick the phone - but until now i have no idea how to do. Please tell me, if you know some hints. You can also post if you think its hopeless and there ist no way to unbrick the phone.
Update: I have flashed the stock rom via odin succesfully. now it starts normaly. Do i want to do a next try ;-) ...

Thank U
