Root Best addons / roms - OnePlus 6T Questions & Answers

Hi, planning to root my 6T international version, but very new to rooting. Any best practices guide to do based on currently available best mods or roms to get more out of 6T?
I use Google pay, so need to make sure that works if I root or apply any mods.
Any suggestions or allinone guide pls?

GPay needs safety net and it works with Magisk root.
But you will break it with installing XPosed Framework.
PS: If you don't know what for you need root then better don't do it. ?

If all fails, Try to root thought MTK droid and flash tool (Back file method) Check on youtube ull find the procedure

Works here. What error are you getting?
Try wipung caches and fixing permissions in recovery then install. That should do it.

I thought cache doesn't mount properly in the current n915t twrp. Have I missed something?
Will try. I installed xposed and it seems like the module isn't working. Tried wanam and gravitybox and it doesn't seem to work. Will update after wiping cache and fixing permission on twrp. Thank you again guys
I got some things in wanam working but some do not at all...
My bad thach, actually just fixing oermissions should fix his error if its the one im thinking of. No need to wipe caches

Are you sure the framework is installed, and you've given wanam superuser permissions?
Hey Haruyukisama did you Root exactly the way the guide says too? Have you checked to make sure Root is working and installed other apps that require root permission? Xposed works really well actually, Wanam as well. I havent tested everything but i have tested alot and most of Wanam seems to work fine with the exception of a few of the theming choices.

Really? Wow. That's easy. Are you sure you did that on lollipop? And was just the regular apk or do you have another one that you'd like to share with me? I'm sorry to ask so many questions, but this is really new.

Zenfone use a different boot.img format. And may I ask, if you have a rooted phone, why do you want to install a systemless framework?

@dgadelha i need to bypass android pay on my root zenfone 5. Thats right, some apps wont run on root device. They use SafetyNet API to block root device. Thats why we need systemless root and framework.
I dont know how to mod zenfone kernel. This is what they say on magisk thread about asus device :
Currently Known Not Working Devices (v6): Asus devices: Asus seems to require some additional work to modify boot image. If you know any detail, please contact me.
Please help @dgadelha...

Would it not be a lot more productive if you just posted the tutorial instead of asking people if they need it (which everyone does need; it's just common sense)? And somebody did ask for it, but over two months have passed and you still haven't responded.
Also, what is EdXposed? What ROM is that you are using? Can Xposed not be installed on MIUI after all?
How to install?

Security Check

I installed Resurrection Remix 7.0.2 on RN7, no root, but one specific app (MC Donalds App ) says:
"Your device did not pass our security check. Please check that you run a Google trusted OS Version, that the device is not rooted and that you have no harmful apps installed."
Does someone have an idea, what to do? In the meantime I rooted with magisk and made magisk hide to this app, but it did not change anything. i did not find a solution on XDA.
And this?
