Hi!
I would like to ask those, who use custom roms on their exynos S8.
I recently switchet to Renovate ICE 14.1 and im experiencing about 20-30% worse battery life than on stock.
Im curious that i did something wrong or its the ROM itself.
Thank you
I am interested in this thread, anyone can answer??

Hi my friend has been complaining about her battery life and she's on stock kitkat i9500.
So I would like to change her rom, can anyone suggest me any stock lollipop rom that has the best battery life,no bugs and has still has all the features from the stock s4 (dual window, etc)?
And is it preferable to flash the Lightweight lollipop kernel?
p/s: I have little experience dealing with samsung, which is why I'm going to learn thoroughly after knowing which rom to flash. If anyone can help me out from the bottom (pm maybe) I would really appreciate that too :good:
Hey guys,
I own my Note 4 for a while now, and i absolutely love it, but since a few weeks the battery life is getting worse and worse. That's why i was thinking about flashing a custom rom (i flashed a lot of roms on my s2, s3). But i dont really know which one to choose, can someone help me?
The rom im looking for has to be stable, touchwiz, lollipop and have a nice battery life.
Thanks in advance, Sam
I have the 910F by the way
Hello there! What is the best firmware for Galaxy S4? I'm looking for something better than UFNA5 (I'm actually using it and it's bad ). Can you help me? Ofc I'm not talking about original firmware - it can be also sth like Cyanogen or sth. Just help me to make my phone faster and extend it's battery life
The "best" ROM is a subjective thing. The only way to find out which ROM is best for you is by trying them out yourself.
Well, a pretty fast and stable rom is the GPE rom.
The rom I'm currently using is Resurrection Remix 5.5.3 with Alucard kernel found here.
It's really fast.
Hey guys, yesterday I installed RR (latest version) on my s7 edge Exynos G935F and I am suffering from a really bad battery drain and a really slow charging.
-I did a clean flash
-Before this rom I had another Touchwiz rom that was really stable and had a great battery life (just for information)
What should I do?
Thanks a lot in advance
Ray

I am having the exact same issue.
So, I'm about to root and install a custom ROM on my girlfriend's S7E, mainly because of the recent problem with Oreo and Instagram as seen here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/s7-edge/help/instagram-stories-oreo-t3804945. So I'm looking for stable Nougat ROMs that favor battery life over features, like AOSP or Nexus based ROMs. I have some experience in rooting and installing custom ROMs in android devices, but it has been around two years since I last messed around with it. Any useful pointers that you think are important?
Most stable Nougat was the Superman Rom for me. No problems over all and nice Battery life.
