Vpn since about a month has been disconnecting after about 10 to 15 seconds of connecting. I am on stock kitkat rooted. Tried multiple vpn apps but same problem. This only happens on mobile data, wifi works fine.
Any ideas?
Also this problem does not occur in stock lollipop or aosp pie rom by dev_harsh1998

I'm using the nand rom, - BOYPPC-Shiftpda V20 and my wifi disconnects after a couple of minutes of connecting and sometimes resets all connections to the router... It has a hidden ssid and make it available to all has no effect and it also has wpk encryption. It's on channel 13.
I tried doing a full reset which included task 29(or w.e its calld) and installing a stock rom - but this did not help at all.
Edit- Task 29'd and flashed back to stock twice: First time flashed up to Yuki XDA windows 7 rom - stil lthe same problem. 2nd time I've left it as the stock t-mobile uk rom. I've als otried broadcasting my network name and changing channels but this hasn't helped.
I've noticed its the same on stock, android and wp7. this causes all wireless settings to reset so I'm guessing its something to do with my router. I can't confirm if wifi was working before as I got the phone a couple of days ago. Back to original android rom now.
Bump?......
Recently Flashed Semaphore Kernel 1.7.1 on my N4 running October 7 Carbon Nightly and everything was working fine until it disconnected from the WiFi and wouldn't reconnect. I attempted to reconnect by going into Settings and settings wouldn't open until showing a message about settings stopped working. Rebooting the device solves the issue until it disconnects again.
Steps I tried to fix it:
I factory reset and flashed the latest nightly and gApps then reflashed the HellsCore kernel.
Everything worked great until this evening the same issue occurred again, I could not access the WiFi settings after it disconnects from the Wifi even after rebooting this time it still wouldn't connect, a dirty flash of the ROM on stock kernel allows the phone to connect to wifi.

I bought Yureka on second sale of January month. Everything was fine even after Lollipop update. Few months ago, I flashed Yureka cm12.1 nightly and I didn't see any problem with that also. But two weeks ago, my wifi started misbehaving like not turning ON and switching OFF automatically and sometimes it doesn't show the available wifi networks. Eventually it stopped working completely. I thought that the flashed cm12.1 kernel is the culprit and so I flashed the original stock CM12 lollipop ROM. But the same problem still continued. I tried several ROMs such as SOKP, MIUI 7, CM12, CM12.1(nightley). I had same problem in all.
NOTE: Whenever I flash a new ROM, it works fine for few minutes or even hours, then it starts to misbehaving and finally stopped working. I don't think this is hardware failure, because after every flashing of ROMs, it works fine.
Someone please help me.
One more thing, whenever Wi Fi doesn't work, wifi hotspot and even bluetooth are also not working.
After upgrading to N via OTA, i noticed that my wifi tethering was not working. Connected devices didn't not have Internet access.
Anyone else has that issue?
Any fix?
Thanks
Hotspot Not working Properly
hi.. After Updating to Android N,
My wifi Hotspot stops working in every few mins. I have to Start it again and again.. This is really annoying..
I had this problem since I flashed liquid remix 10 back 4-5 months ago, so I went back to stock. I tried reflashing with mi flash tool, but the problem is still there. I don't know if it's a hardware issue, or a software issue. I also tried deleting lines in wlan_mac.bin, but still no dice. After updating to pie, it got worse, sometimes it doesn't detect my router, most of the time won't connect to the wifi, connects then disconnects immediately, very slow wifi speed (2 Mbps)(should be 50mbps). What should I do? My warranty ends in 2 weeks.
