I am currently on RR which is based on CM 12.1. I flashed n1kernel (version R1.2) from @n1kolaa . The lag is gone and overall performances are great. Battery is little worse than stock but it depends on governor that you use. :good:
Hello guys, I was trying to install cyanogenmod 13 on my Samsung S3 Neo+ (GT-i9301i) device using a custom recovery but when I choose the .zip file the installation failed!
This package is for device: m0, i9300, GT-I9300; this device is s3ve3g.
So is there anyway I can do to install this package or please suggest me another package that can be installed on my device.
Thanks in advance ^_^
You tried to install CM 13 in the S3 I9300
Our S3 Neo is I9301I and you can't install s3 roms in the s3 neo.
Wait for the release of cm 13 for your device
Do you think that it will make the device lags or it will be better for my device?
Do you mean using CyanogenMod instead of your stock ROM?
Like others said; You can't flash a regular S3 ROM on a GT-I93xx Neo.
Rox & n1kolaa are working on CM13 for the GT-I9301I, however, there is no ETA and they don't like giving ETA's so you'll have to wait and see when it's released...
Expect something around June/July before CM13 gets released.
No , instead of cm12.1
DELETED
s3 neo
this rom is for s3 neo ? help me pls
s3ve3g - it's S3 neo (i9301i and i9300i)
But what that's link and from ?...
In build.prop is s3ve3g so this is rom for our phone I think.. we don't know how bugs are in the rom - who will be first ?
meybe it is the version of rom CM13 by @Rox & @n1kolaa ? Meybe this rom not ready for now..?
Someone tried to flash the zip in the download link? Does it work?

Someone booted it?
Endless bootloop
Yes i just tried it myself. After updating apps after boot, it reboots and loops.
Until one of the recognized devs upload their working cm13 at our s3neo forum section, i shouldn't trust any other sources. It hasn't been posted because there isn't any working version released as of yet. There's no ETA so you'll have to wait for that one.
Forced me back to stock os...it made the cm12.1 by n1kolaa go into an endless bootloop too
Sent from my GT-I9300I using Tapatalk
I made a backup prior to flashing cm13. I'm back on Resurrection Remix. (Used Kang cm12.1 n1kolaa's build for a few weeks, and RR for a week now (curiousity) and i must say; superb!, even battery life is good) I think i like it better than kang!
I also use the Rox's 4.1-zRam kernel (ondemand) on RR. It's a great kernel.

Hi everyone i currently have a samsung s3 neo GT 1901I almost for a year and a half and it's been stuck on 4.4.2 i love this phone, it has never given me any freezing or rebooting issues but i was thinking now to try go to custom firmware's so guys with a similar phone to mine, please advice me which is the current most stablest rom for my device which i can flash in and if it is stable could you tell me some on the known bugs on it ? i really don't wanna flash a rom and be in full regret as i find this phone of mine really stable on my current stock rom
Thanks in advance for taking your time reading this
Flash cm 12.1
for me it's better to stay on the stock
a friend of mine suggested that I try the CM 12.1 , I really like it but it caused me a lot of troubles espaicially with the battery
then I went back to stock, however it's not the same solid and efficient phone I used to have.
but anyway, that's my personnel experience , if you're used with things like flashing and trying different ROMs go ahead
I think CM 12.1 is the best , there is a thread here ( I think) where the isuues I mentionned are probably fixed
good luck
If you like AOSP ROMs I suggest you to use CM12.1 by @Rox with the kernel made by @n1kolaa.
But if you're passionated for TouchWiz like I am I recommend you to use Project Lucky by @Ciro. It has a bit of random reboot problems, but it's the most stable LL TouchWiz ROM for our beloved S3 Neo.

Hi, quick question. I wanted to flash the Project Lucky S7 Style ROM by Ciro but the kernel version on my phone is 3.4.0 and the kernel verion of the rom is 3.0.x. Is it safe to flash?? Please let me know. Thanks
Battery is better on stock, and of course that stock is better for our phone but if you want to experience something new you should wait a few day 'cause CyanogenMod 12.1 is going to be official.

Hi there,
Every other day we see a new amazing custom rom for our device j5 2016, but they support all brands except for H one.
I don't know why!!!
is there any developer who is interested in making some new oreo rom for our J510H?
For the knowledge, the problems we are facing when using linage 15 based roms are:
1. blinking screen.
2. no sim card detected.
We hope to see an amazing work soon...
Thank you.

Sry to bother you but i tried flashing AOSP extended and lineage both didn't work lol.. Do you think it's worth trying to install your kernel after flashing the roms?

I tried for Lineage 5.1 (it's android 8.1 right?) but it said "kernel is not seandroid enforcing" My understanding is the kernel you posted is for Android Oreo? So i tried to install lineage15.1 which is also oreo after that i flashed the kernel and even erased dvlnk and cache but still got this error kernel is not seandroid enforcing.
Any thought? Thanks for all the help btw! you rock man
