I am in UK and using BT/EE as SIM1 and Lyca Mobile as SIM2 on 6T and currently using stock OOS and stock phone/dialler app. Ensured that call waiting is on for both SIMs - checked via going into SIM settings i.e. Dialer -> settings -> Call Settings -> SIM 1 -> Additional settings -> Call waiting is ON and Call forwarding is OFF.
6T being dual SIM active means during a call only 1 SIM is active (so.. this is equal to having 2 smartphones giving the user liberty to engage on one or both calls at the same time).
Anyways, I don't get any notification or beeps to let me know that there's a second call while I am already on one call. Call conferencing functionality would also be limited.
My wife has a OP5T and she has the same issue.
Any experiences, help welcome!

I just purchased 2 moto g4 (amazon prime edition ) phones. Both were successfully activated on verizon using sim cards from the phones they were replacing. Voice mail is not working on either phone. If i dial*86 I get a message that i do not have permission to use thus service . If I call the phone it just rings and never goes to voicemail. Has anyone else had this problem? Any suggestions for fixing it? Thanks!
I'm able to access my Verizon voicemail fine on both VoLTE and CDMA. Phone app (bottom-left corner) > keypad (bottom-middle) > press and hold 1
In my case, downloading the 'my verizon' app after vvm seemed to make it work (connect to voicemai). The only other thing I did at the same time was to change the network setting from global to cdma/4g lte.
I tried to make an outgoing call this morning, only to get a notice that my outgoing calls have been restricted and that my 2g phone will no longer work. It re-directs me to their call center, where my only options seem to be either order a replacement phone or activate the replacement phone.
Here's the catch. I'm using an iPhone 6 with a 2-year old SIM card that has worked flawlessly the whole time (actually, it still works fine, it's Straight Talk's system blocking my outgoing calls). When I question them on this, they blame my phone and say I need to order a new SIM, and the tech was unable to answer my question regarding the ability to call 911 (I can't even check voicemail, but I don't want to test 911).
I can still receive calls and my cellular data works just fine (posting this on LTE), but my outbound calls are being re-directed.
Has anyone run into this issue? Has anyone found a way to get rid of the block? I can't get anywhere with their "support". I should not have to buy a new SIM card for something that shouldn't affect my service.
Straight Talk should just send you a new sim without charging for the sim.
They sent me a replacement sim when I misplaced my phone without any problems. I found the phone and didn't need the sim. They didn't charge me for the sim.
The problem is likely on their end with the provisioning of the sim.
Did they try to send you a new sim ?
I finally was able to get around scripted CS and talk to somebody knowledgeable. They're sending me a new SIM.
Apparently, I got caught by the net because I used this SIM in an old flip phone several months ago.
My biggest concern with the whole thing is the ability to call 911, and why they don't have an escape route so that you can still place calls without ordering or activating a replacement phone. My first few contacts left me with a replacement phone as my only option.
Notice to all providers. In the future, please make these notifications so that they don't block outgoing calls. Play a notice, give a number to call, then allow the call through.
Luckily, I have FaceTime Audio to continue making calls in the meantime (new SIM arrives Tuesday).
Hello,
Is anyone else having an issue with dual call?
Explanation :
When i am on a voice call on SIM1 i can't get a call on SIM2 and vice versa.
If i go into : Settings > Call > Common > Smart Forward and i try to save, it gives me a "Network or SIM card issue"
Anyone replicating this issue?
Just for precision : i am using two SIMs from different countries.
For what I know huawei mate 7 and I think their current phone supports this, no others brands will allow this.

You mean the SIMs from two different carriers ? As when i tested two SIM cards from the same carrier it worked fine. Just wondering if it's the "etisalat" SIM that is messing things up.
are you sure, when one sim is in use, the other will be disabled, even during browsing.
I think smart forwarding only works if both sim has call forwarding.

What do you mean while browsing? you mean like internet browsing? I think the issue is only on the phone, talking. I only had this issue when i was on the phone with the "etisalat" SIM. As i mentioned above, it works fine with two SIMs from the same carrier.
Can you also elaborate on what you mean "call forwarding".
a) like the normal forwarding (unreachable, off, or busy it forwards to you voicemail)
b) forwarding to another phone number
c) ?
Hi,
I am using 2 sim cards in my samsung s7 edge, SIM 1 for personal calls and SIM 2 for work calls.
All my contacts (personal and work contacts) are synced to Google.
I have set the phone to "ask always" when making calls.
Is there any way to set the phone so that when I call my personal contacts, it will auto select SIM 1?
Anyone?
This is my setting:
1. call and text message prefered to sim 1
2. mobile data prefered to sim 2
I do not enable confirm sim card for calls, then every phone I do will automatically use sim 1.
Hi,
We used to use 2 Jio sim's in an Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 phone. The second jio sim in slot 2 was a secondary sim which was rarely used. It's calls were set to auto forward to some other number. We used to keep this second sim deactivated most of the times to save battery. Anyways now we were planning to use this number. Whenever we switch on the second sim slot in this phone a call forwarding logo used to come at the top, although it was turned off many months back. We went to the call forwarding settings for this second sim, the page kept on loading then it said some error or something. Tried it in slot one but same result. Tried this number in Samsung Galaxy series phone but same result. It shows that call forwarding is there but when we click to see to which number it keeps on loading and then show that it is turned off but the call forwarding sign doesn't go away. It asks us to enter a number for call forwarding if we want to. If we do enter some number then finally it displays failed to read data- something went wrong, Check your sim card or network connection, then try again. This sim can receive all the text messages. Since it is not recharged so can't confirm about the outbound calls, texts. If we call to this number then it says that the number is busy.
Isn't call forwarding limited to phones? In this case it has stuck with the sim somehow. Even if I recharge it and the same thing is there then it will be a waste of money. Is there any way to reset this sim or something? If the customer care can do something about it then what should I tell them to do?
Thanks
If you can recharge jio sim than call forwarding problem automatically solved.
