Verizon S7 Keep Freezing When booted into Android - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S7 Questions & Answers

Hi everyone.
I've got a g930v last year, someday it freezes itself, I really haven't done anything, It just keeps freezing when it passed the booting logo screen, even boot into safe mode...
I've done factory reset, even re-install the stock rom on it...
I would be grateful if any idea comes up...

Can no longer install factory images, results in app loading bootloop

So pissed off and annoyed now....
Attempted to upgrade to marshmallow, then tried root over and over again. I get that it's a wip, but no such luck. Eventually I got annoyed and decided to just wait so I tried downgrading back to 5.1.1. For some reason now trying to root that results in boot loop as well (even tried older supersu). After a couple attempts with no such luck, tried to install stock back and now before even trying to root, the device doesn't want to boot up properly anymore.
I tried fastbooting bootloader, boot, recovery, and system, once I try to staRte up normally, android boot logo goes through but the first startup "upgrading apps" goes through its list and right after finishes, says "starting apps" but almost immediately boots back to the boot splash screen, where the process repeats itself over and over.
Trying to reflash everything results in same issue now. I've tried at lEast 4 times. Have I bricked my brand new nexus player?
Hoping for some answers so I can sleep on it. Pissed off and annoyed now. Ugh.
Figured it out. Didn't know how to bring up commands in recovery mode. Had to factory wipe system and cache.
Sorry for the wasted post. Mod please delete this if possible. Thanks.

Boot Loop for Galaxy S5 (G900T) - Never rooted

Today, my mom's GS5 became stuck in a boot loop and I don't know how it happened since it's her phone and neither does she. I believe it is running 5.1.1 but I could be off by an update or two. The phone is NOT rooted and has never had any software customizations at all.
When booting, the green android pops up for maybe two-tenths of a second saying "installing system update..." and then it quickly changes to saying "no command" at which point the white screen with "T-mobile" comes up and gets stuck there, giving off a small vibration every 13 seconds.
I know the battery was low when this starting happening, so maybe the phone could have been installing an update and the battery died during it, but my mom didn't initiate an update as far as she knows (she's not too tech savy), but I can't say with any certainty how it happened.
I have already tried removing the battery. I can boot into recovery mode and I tried wiping the cache but that didn't fix anything. I can't boot into safe mode.
If anyone has any solutions or ideas, I'd greatly appreciate it! I'm hoping to not have to wipe the internal memory because there are a ton of prom pictures on there from just last weekend that were just taken and haven't been backed up, so my mom really wants those back. I know I've managed to flash my Droid Razr M before when it was rooted and stuck in a bootloop and I managed to keep my internal data somehow, so I'm hoping it is possible
Thanks in advance for any help!

Stuck in downloading mode.

So, basically i ****ed my phone up after rooting and flashing it with the previous Cyanogenmod. The way i did it is by trying to factory reset it with the cyanogenmod and it didn't work, it totally ****ed up my bootload menu. The update came in yesterday and i tried updating it but it was stuck in the "Downloading" screen for 2-3 hours and i can't turn it on again. My question is is there a way to fix it or is it dead?

Sm-g900f (uk) galaxy s5 - arrgghhhhh

Can anyone PLEASE help??
My partner opted to do a suggested update on her S5, but didn't notice the wifi was off. The phone seemed to have done the update, but shortly after it rebooted itself, then again, then again. The frequency of reboot got quicker and quicker and now it loops between the Galaxy S5 splash screen and the SAMSUNG logo, but doesn't go any further.
I managed to boot the phone into reset mode, cleared the cache and then did a factory reset, but that did nothing to prevent the boot loop.
I then downloaded Odin (ver 10.3.7) and what I believed to be the correct firmware (G900FXXS1CPLV_G900FVFR1CPJ1_G900FXXU1CPIW_HOME.tar.md5).
Having checked the battery was charged, I followed the instructions of connecting the phone via USB, loading the md5 in the AP, checking Auto Reboot and F-Set time in the options and clicking the Odin Start button. I had removed the battery, replaced it and then booted it into the update mode (Power, Home, Volume Down, then volume up) with the screen confirming I was in the right place (....do not unplug.... etc).
The file loaded, (green bar at top of the Odin window on my PC) and Odin reported success. I then disconnected the phone, booted in recovery mode, reset the cache and then did a clear data, factory reset.
The same symptoms prevail, STUCK IN BOOT LOOP!!!!
The only thing different is that if I plug it into the USB on my PC, after a while the phone tries to turn itself on and goes into either a boot loop or freezes on the Galaxy S5 Splash screen or the SAMSUNG Logo.
I am charging another battery (just in case that is in some way to blame) and will try again to replace the firmware, but could I be missing something, do I need to do anything with PIT (I thought this was all taken care of by Odin using the MD5 file) or is there some other test I can perform that will show if the phone is fried???
MANY THANKS for looking!
ur going correct, try to reflash it again through odin and dont disconnect phone until it boots into system, it is taking some good time, so just wait and dont do anything this time like clearing anything or restoring. i hope ull get success.
THANKS - but...
Thanks Rayzen, I will try the whole thing again, but I think there is something more to this than a firmware fault!
There and gone again
OK, so on the 4th attempt I got the phone to take the firmware using Odin, it reported success and the phone rebooted itself (several times) and eventually appeared to boot to a new factory reset.
I put in a SIM card and entered my email and google account details and left it charging over night. This morning when I tried to use it, the screen froze and then it rebooted itself. Hey presto, the phone is back to square one with a boot loop.
ANYONE (please) got any suggestions?
THANKS
No one??
same here, same symptoms, same feeling.
when flash gone right... i feel lucky.. but for half hour only, rebooted and angain in boot loop.
I cannot even boot in recovery. flashed TWRP. from 5 boots in recovery only 1 success.
When trying to wipe phone in TWRP - it hangs.
still trying to install some other (custom) rom. still no success.
hope never dies
same things happened here! now cant get samsung galaxy s5 to boot...............
Are you sure your using right firmware? as it took me a few versions before it booted last time this happened?
Could any please confirm what is the right firmware for samsung galaxy s5 900F
It took another 6 or 7 attempts, left it over night and was about to trash it when it booted.
I then received a 'software update available' message and tried installing it. First attempt put the phone back into boot loop so I reflashed it again using Odin.
That worked immediately the over the network software update installed and now phone is 100%
Very frustrating but I got there!
glad you fixed it! ive tried three different firmwares and still nothing.
trying this one atm

oh and how long do they take to boot when there are sitting at the samsung glowing screen?>
I'm in UK and used what (I had to guess) was the best firmware.
I'll let you know which version it was when I get home tonight.
BUT I had all the problems with a single version and it eventually came good.
I read somewhere that overwriting a different core (from specific providers) with generic firmware, could lead to a world of pain until it gets full replaced... not sure if that's a good description (or has any fact to it) but it seemed to be re-loading and re-loading and re........ for ages, finally cracked it.
well mines booted now!but getting constant errors about samsung push!
If it'still booted, you'very made progress!
Push issues are mentioned elsewhere and can (eventually be sorted) but if you have a booted phone you should be able to get an over the air software update installed from the service provider....?!

Stuck on encryption lock screen, won't boot PLEASE HELP

Hey everyone,
So my phone died and then I got it charged and turned on and it booted up to the encryption lock screen where it says to start up your device, enter your pin. So I enter my pin and then its says, "verified" and then "starting android". and then a padlock appears on the screen, it opens, and there's like a load up circle going around it. At first, I let the phone sit to see if it would do anything but after an hour, I figured something is wrong. I dont know why this happened, I think I might have accidentally turned on the secondary encryption, but this really sucks, I don't want to have to factory reset and lose all my pictures and data. I can boot into recovery mode but sometimes when i turn it on it shows a screen that says installing update and has like a google ring looking thing that should be spinning around but it looks like its glitching out, after that screen it will go to a no command screen, and then it will eventually reach recovery mode. I really hope someone can help or knows what is going on because, I really dont want to lose all my stuff.
Thanks for your time
I tried posting link but im new, if you look up s7 edge frozen encryption, its the first link , another person describes the same issue.
I had this issue. In recovery, tell it to clear the delvic cache. Then try a reboot.
It too a few attempts before the phone would not boot directly into recovery. But once i got it to do a normal boot, it started normally.
Then after it's running, back it all up, boot into recovery, and do a system restore.
Hi I wonder if anyone can help me. I restarted my phone, it asks for my pin which I enter correctly. It then gets stuck on spinning padlock. I've tried a soft reset (I think that's what it's called, holding down power and volume keys). It restarts, I enter pin, it says starting android then gets stuck again. I'm not very tech minded (typical girl). Can anyone help. I'd rather not lose all my photos and apps. Thank you so so much in advance. Toni x
I am facing the same issue, but with a Samsung Galaxy S8.
- Safe mode: doesn't boot
- Recovery mode: works, clear cache doesn't solve the problem.
So since nothing worked to make it work (except the Factory Reset, but I didn't tried this option), I decided to wait in the padlock screen. After 3 hours the phone started.
I guess that the phone is decrypting some big file during startup. Indeed, some days before before this problem happens, I downloaded some big files via torrent (~2-4 GB video files).
I'll delete these files and make some tests to understand the source of this problem.
Have same issue after recent update, tried clearing cache and safe mode but didn't help, been on padlock for about 10 hours now, any solutions/experiences?
ps: on stock rom with stock recovery, no root or anything of that sort at all.
