Hello, i've installed LineageOS and the ROM doesn't seems to have media controls set by default, so volume buttons and triple-click doesn't work, does anyone know where in the Android ecosystem i can find a file that manages this?

Hi,
Apologies if this has already been covered - it's not in the wiki and search comes up with nothing.
I've noticed that HTC have made the volume control different depending on which application is active. If I'm watching a youtube video and use the volume side buttons, the volume slider is a nice little side pop-in. Likewise with Windows Media Player. But everywhere else (CorePlayer for example), the regular volume control screen comes up.
I guess there must be somewhere in the registry to add applications where the sidebar volume control appears rather than the standard one.
Does anyone know where?

Its quite easy just a few steps and off you go!
Hey guys,
I like using GSPlayer2 on my HD2. However, the program does not detect the button presses from the remote. I have the Sense MP3 player disabled, so now when I press the call/play button on the remote, it either goes to the call menu, or goes to windows media player.
Simple question -- how do I change its behavior, so that it can control GSPlayer? I'd imagine the solution will be similar (but not identical) to the the one implemented by AVRCP program floating on XDADev somewhere....
- I use Optical Audio output on my Sony A9F to connect to external speakers with no volume control, and I want to control the volume.
- Unfortunately Sony decided to cut the connection between main volume and Optical volume level, so changing main volume does not affect Optical audio output level.
- there used to be an option in TV menu that was "Headphone Level Variable/Fix", but it is removed from the menu in the last update.
- There is a "Digital audio out volume" page that can only be accessed after many remote control buttons pushes, making it inconvenient for changing the volume level.
- I tried Tasker, and with it I could open the Headphone Variable/Fix page, but changes I make there do not affect anything and they do not stick, they get forgotten when I close it and back to default.
- With Tasker, I am trying to quickly open the level control setting page that has the Digital Output Level Control, but no luck
- I tried App Opening in Tasker, used ALL option, and tried all available apps a,d those accessed by long press, did not find one related to it.
- Maybe there is a hidden package name not included here, if there is, How can I find it?
- I tried Custom Settings to change the digital volume directly, but could not find the corresponding setting.
- My last resort will be to use Auto Input, but currently trying this.
- I am not sure if Android TV operates strictly on Android system, or it still has it's own internal system for some options but with Android interface, but still if the Android interface can access it, Tasker should be able to do that, right?
Any Help?
Anyone knows how to fix this? I can only control the audio through the Spotify app but I wanna control the volume at all times... I have this module installed and it works once when I install it... Help
Hi, I just installed an android headunit in my car and I am looking for some good launchers.
I tried Agama launcher and it's probably my favorite, but the main thing that makes it great is the way you can control the volume with the rotating ring, and it doesn't work on my unit.
I also couldn't find any other launcher that let's you modify the volume in that way. I don't have any volume buttons on my steering wheel and the touchscreen buttons on the headunit are in a not so convenient place so I would really like to have an option to change it on the screen.
I also found the CarWebGuru launcher which does have working volume buttons but for some reason the "Next/Previous Song" buttons don't work with my bluetooth music. Everytime I press it it goes in a player and tries to play local songs.
Do you know a launcher that has both of these things? (Or even better, a way to make Agama's volume buttons work) Thank you!
