I'm new to this phone, previously I had an Alcatel Pixi-4, my Android is in US, if I wanted to enter letters with accent (á, à, ç, etc.) I just hold the letter
Code:
a
for few seconds and it'll display other alternatives with letter
Code:
a
, but in Galaxy E7 this option does not work, any idea how to enter Latin languages accents in E7 (I think mine is SM-E7000, but this model is not available in Samsung's site). I tried to change the keyboard, the Spanish or Portuguese is not available.
TIA.
Use another keyboard

LordManhattan - Thanks but the thread shows flashing via odin and i like to change csc region to enable ota updates.
I see!
Type *#272*IMEI# at Phone dial pad
This WILL erase everything on your phone (but not the things that are on your SD card)
I havent find a generic european one (was looking for one too). Found several lists, as this one:

My note had an EUR when bought, and while it can looks like it's EURopean, actually it's greek, even when I bought it in Spain

hello everyone! first of all I would apologize for my English
I have Samsung Galaxy Note 3 N9005 32GB running 4.4.2 firmware NB4
When I first got the device it was running on 4.3 with morelocal 2 for adding my language and it worked perfectly. I had the little globe button in the keyboard which I could press and by that to switch from English to my language.
Since I updated to 4.4.2 and had my morelocal 2 installed I got my language but in the Samsung keyboard the globe button disappeared and also the option to slide my finger over the space button and by that to switch languages. everything is gone. I tried to reset the device several times with KIES and still no solution. I have only 2 languages in my input options which are English and my language. I know I have tons of other keyboards over the play store but I want and insist on my Samsung keyboard.
please please help my find out how to get the little globe button to its right place.
Did you set it correctly? Because on 4.4.2 NB7 DBT I can set multiple languages and slide the spacebar to select them...
Make sure you have both languages selected in the Samsung keyboard settings.
Now back to Swiftkey, I can't stand the stock keyboard..

N9100 just Eng, Kor, Simple Chinese only. How to change to Fully Support Multi-Lang? Can Odin CSC (N910u...) file?
Yes I have the unlocked version of this SM-N9100 and I cannot read Chinese and the Factory Mode (Download) is all in Chinese so I cannot install CF-Root but the device is rooted somehow and I need to get the Factory Mode in English if at all possible?
just FYI
I know you cant install the google play apps on these without rooting first, but I just found that you CAN install the Amazon App store then install another keyboard like SWYPE that supports multi languages...
SM-N9100
Hi guys,
I received my SM-N9100 today from ebay. When i booted, all was Chinese. Luckily i had a friends galaxy S5 as a visual reference to navigate through the settings and change the language to English. If it helps once in settings you are looking for a green icon near the bottom with an "A" in the middle, then the very top option showed me the languages where you can clearly see "English"
Just picking up on a previous post to make sure everyone is clear, There are 3 variations of the N9100 in china, you must make sure you purchase the international unlocked version. On mine it came preloaded with the play store, no need to root, and i am currently using 2 British sim cards (3 & EE) with no issues at all. No noticeable battery drain at this stage. Very happy with purchase.
I have bought a new Japan Note 3 SCL22 with 4.4.2. I have tried 2 versions of Samsung Chinese IME from the Internet (V6.0 and V7.0). One of them will become force close once I choose it. Another one I can choose it but I cannot view qwery keyboard properly when I want to type Chinese or English.
My objective is to use clipboard function and Changjie which can be provided by Original Samsung Chinese IME. Do any one could help me for the workable files and method?
I have also tried to flash a HK rom but failed. My phone has been rooted already.
Can someone tell me why my SM-A500FU on the ROM region code after re-initializing official firmware with Smart Switch or taking it to a store to reinstall the software on it is not on Romanian region but on polish. I say that because when it first starts up the preselected language on the welcome menu is polish. I have a Galaxy A5 and after reinitialization with Smart Switch the language is predefined to Romanian! Where can I download an official firmware for Romania not for other countries for it? Thank you!

There are not other places to download ROMs than you perhaps already know like:
samsung-updates.com, samsung.youmobile.org, www.sammobile.com
where you can find both branded (Vodafone, Orange...) or unbranded type of ROMs.
Or let Smart Switch choose what updates are good for you...

Yeah well now I see what the problem is. It's the first time I noticed but in smart switch I put my device in download mode and then go to device reinitialization page enter model and serial number and after that it tells me: initialized version *baseband nr* (XEO) now that is the problem. XEO is Poland. So my guess it is it has to do with S/N. I have a friend with same A5 model and I checked with his serial number and it tells me to initialize software from Swizzerland. Like seriously? Where do these devices come from and why no device bought from Romania actually has a Romanian serial number for smart switch to recognise like my S5?
