I have a carrier unlocked T-Mobile H918 model bought refurbished from eBay.
I'm using it in Reliance Jio network in India.
I am able to use 4G Data but there ain't no Volte.
Is there some way I can enable Volte in this? (I have tried enabling Volte in Call Settings but of no use.)
I am open to rooting also if required.
Running on Android 8.0 with December Security patch.

Recently bought a lg v20 h990n Hong Kong model. This model doesn't have any VOLTE option at all. Is there a way to enable this? I've a SIM that works only on volte (Jio network)
Anyway to use this phone in Jio?

Hey am also planing to buy v20 h990n dual sim version,were you able to enable volte on phone,if you did please share the procedure to do.

I have Samsung Galaxy on7 pro which is VoLTE phone. I am using Reliance Jio.
Both Reliance Jio and Airtel have announced Vowifi availability in India.
I couldn't find any way to enable vowifi feature on this phone. I tried to use *#*#4636#*#* to get phone info but unfortunately this code does not work on this phone.
The os is Android 6.0.1 and there is no hope for ota update to Android 8.0
If vowifi couldn't be enabled on this phone I would like to flash Android 8.1 in case I could get vowifi feature.

So T-mobile and AT&T are planning to stop supporting any device that does not have VOLTE capabilities by 1/2021. I have a couple of Unlocked D800 (ATT Version). Anyone know if its possible to activate VOLTE? When I go into the hidden menu and i tried to enable VOLTE, it says something like VOLTE packages not found. Anyone know if a custom rom will enable VOLTE?

Aim:
The aim is to get VoLTE working so that the phone can work in India on the Reliance Jio network. "Work" as in makes and receives calls through the native phone and messaging apps.
A bit of context:
I have a Samsung S7 Edge SM-G935F.
I am want to use the phone on a network that is 4G only meaning I need VoLTE enabled for the calls and texts.
Currently I am running the XEU firmware, but VoLTE is not working when I use the Reliance Jio sim.

So, basically, I am trying to figure out the easiest, non-intrusive way to enable VoLTE without having to unlock bootloader, root the device, etc...etc. (don't even know if it is possible this way). Anway...
The first question is, can I flash a VoLTE firmware from region/network A and use the phone in any other region/network B? Will VoLTE work? Or is the VoLTE firmware specifically programmed to work networks in a particular region or a single network in a region? For example, can I flash EVR (EE UK) firmware (I think it has VoLTE feature enabled), and use the phone in India on the Reliance Jio network.
( If the suggestion in the first question is not possible )
The second question is, can I flash a SM-G935FD INS (Indian) firmware on the SM-G935F to get VoLTE working? Is it safe to flash an FD firmware to the F variant?

Hello, you can run Volte and Vowifi having root, you only need to know the operator's data settings for these functions

If it works with another sim and not your current one then it may be as simple as the phone provider not supporting the device for VoLTE. If it is a problem for all providers then you will need to change to a firmware with a CSC that supports VoLTE.

I have LG V20 H990DS final version Nougat (region SEA) and i wanted to enable the volte & vowifi function. However, i cannot find the toggle to switch on volte & vowifi in the OS menu. I also switched on all the option under hidden menu>field test>GPRI volte/vowifi>UX. But still the option to switch on volte/vowifi is no where to be found in OS menu.
Fyi, my carrier does not list LG V20 under their volte supported devices, however they proceed to activate volte for me at their side. I have 4G/LTE signal but just no volte.
I have read through the V20 forum regarding enabling volte. Since i am not tech savvy, so rooting the device is not really the method for me since it is lengthy and quite hard.
Then i have read that to cross flashing H990DS to H990N firmware will enable the volte. However i do not think this method will guarantee success/necessary, since the latest SEA Nougat has added volte function.

The OP @Wish39 mention to use mbn to enable volte using PDC tool.
I followed the steps successfully till no.12 and nothing happened after that. I am not sure what went wrong, is the mbn file not compatible? need root? (but the OP mention no root needed)
I am hoping any gurus out there can provide help on this. Any solution to switch on Volte on LG V20 is very much appreciated.
