Can I upgrade to the EMUI 8.0?

Hi I'm new to Huawei i recently bought a mate 8 purchased in China build NXT-L29C900B156 on trying to update using firmware finder all the NXT-L29 are said to be not suitable for my device NXT-09 builds on the other hand are recommended for my imei number, can i safely install the NXT L29 on my global build?
It is not safe to install L29 on L09. Before doing that, first you need to debrand your L09 to L29. You can find it in the forums.
Im using huawei nova 2i rne l22 , which is same model with mate 10 lite and honor 9i , downloading new emui 8.0 now , im from Malaysia , you guys should check for the update to
successfully installed emui 8.0

Current version is VNS-L52C719B202
Android version is 6.0.1
Model number is Huawei VNS-L52.
Since I have it, I have not get any update.
Please can you help me upgrade the EMUI to 7.1 and the Android version to Oral.
