[SM-T580] Odin Hangs at: “Initalzation…”
I let my Tab A SM-T580 battery run totally dead, when I tried to restart with the USB cable it gave me the “Kernel is not seandroid enforcing” message.
I messed around and tried to reflash with the stock image which failed.
The error I receive with Odin is that the tablet is detected, the files load with MD5 check fine but it hangs at the “Initalzation…” stage.
I have tried 3 PC’s and 2 laptops with the same result. It seems there is some type of protection on the tablet that will not allow any data to be written to it.
Any ideas appreciated.
Here is a capture of Odin and my Tab screen:

“Kernel is not seandroid enforcing" is normal if you have modified/rooted or installed twrp.
You must have seen this before as you have modified the boot and recovery images.

Can't restore to Stock

Hello there ,
using Odin 3.09, this rom G900FXXU1ANG2_G900FDBT1ANG2_DBT, on a G900F i always get this error at the end:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
After that i just flash TWRP and it boots fine, but that cant be right. It was suggested to me to flash stock because my "/dev/block/mmcblk0p25 " partition seems to be broken. That flash should fix some problems that i got with flshing some roms and missing apks.
I hope someone can help me out!

Your Odin write is obstensibly failing due to incorrect partition parameters.
You need to flash a PIT file concurrently with your firmware image to resolve the error.
Locate the correct PIT file for your phone (there is an XDA thread)
Do not close the Odin window after the failed write
Remove your phone battery and USB cable for 10 seconds
Press and hold the home button, volume down and power button until the screen turns on
Confirm that the screen indicates that you are in Odin (download) mode
Connect your USB cable to your phone again
Start with your current settings as in your screen shot
Add the PIT file to the PIT line
Check the Re-partition box
Press Start
Do not interrupt the write until Odin indicates Pass (success)
.
Click to expand...
Click to collapse
ohhh thank you will try that
Edit:
Just had to reset the whole phone but it seems to be working now

Entering recovery gives message "recovery is not seandroid enforcing" but phone works

Entering recovery gives message "recovery is not seandroid enforcing" but phone works
I have taken a look at threads that talk about "recovery/kernel not seandroid enforcing" but all of them are cases where the phone is in a boot loop. My phone is not in a boot loop. I can use the phone normally and root-detecting apps say I'm rooted successfully, and I can even access the TWRP I flashed using Odin, but when entering recovery, when the Galaxy note 4 logo is being displayed, the message "recovery is not seandroid enforcing" is displayed.
Note that this message is not displayed when booting the phone up normally.
Should I be concerned? Did I do something wrong? I've rooted and installed TWRP many times before on may galaxy note 2 and have never encountered this despite following the same steps. I'm just worried I might've done something unintentional this time?
Here are the details to my device and what I used:

I used Odin3-v3.10.6 and the suitable CF auto root (CF-Auto-Root-trelte-treltexx-smn910c) (said pass when I rooted)
and used TWRP (twrp-3.0.2-0-treltexx) which is the latest on their site.
Note that I also installed busybox and it says it has been installed, the latest version available (x.24. something I think) but an app called DataSync says that I don't have busybox installed for some reason.
That's ok. This message means yiu're rooted and that your Knox is gone. Nothing to worry. I have the exact same you describe.

Samsung Note-3 N9000q stuck at initializing while flashing with odin

My n9000q started to stuck at black screen after samsung logo when booted. I tried to flash twrp recovery from odin to recover my files via backup. But after i tried to flash with odin it stuck at initializing. I tried different versions of odin but non of them work. Now i can't enter stock recovery either. How can i get past that initializing problem ?
Please tell what you did and what firmware etc .
as i say i tried to flash twrp3.2.1-0-ha3g with odin 3.09 with auto reboot and f.reset time checked re-partition unchecked. I don't know about firmware model and i don't how to check now while device is softbricked.
Try an older 2.8 TWRP.
The model number will be shown on the screen with the phone in download mode.
Post a screen shot or Odin log. These items are very helpful when helping other XDA members.
Model number is sm-n9000q never updated firmware before. As suggested i tried older twrp (2.7.1.0 and 2.8.5.0) it didn't work either.

What TWRP was on the phone before problem.
before problem it had stock recovery no twrp. The phone is full stock before.
Sorry I read OP recover files through backup and assumed backup =TWRP.
I tried but didn't succeed :/
All I can suggest is try different USB cables and USB ports.
Did you have a look through this thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/ga...elopment/recovery-official-twrp-ha3g-t3406899 ?
I look through that post and tried other ports and cables but none of them worked.

[HELP] Can't update phone after unroot

Unrooted my Samsung S8 running 8.0 and tried to update using smartswitch and am just met with a blue screen saying "An error has occurred while updating the device software. Use the Emergency recovery function in the smart switch PC software" i have tried doing that and (at the time of writing this) it has failed once, idk if i can boot to download mode and have tried but its either already in it or its just F'd up...
When i run Odin it says "Added" so thats a good sign right?
At the time of this im currently trying the recovery option so will see if this works...

Just flash the firmware you need through Odin. If you get any errors during flashing then post them here and I can help.

Soft brick? Odin connecting but "fail auth"

I tried to install TWRP from the app. I selected the correct device and it says it was successful. So I tried to reboot into recovery mode and all it did was give me a warning about non-verizon crap and went into loop. I can boot into download mode and connect to odin just fine, but when I try to flash TWRP from odin it fails. On my note 3 it says:
SYS REV CHECK FAIL : No Version
SECURE MAGICCODE CHECK FAIL : recovery
Any help is greatly appreciated!

If anyone stumbles across this, samsony has firmware for 4.3, 4.4.2 and 5.0. I was able to use the 4.4.2 to restore the stock recovery and the phone worked again.

Been there before. You need to be rooted before you can flash TWRP. Root with ArabicRootApp.exe and unlock the bootloader with adb & unlock_n3.
