Is it just me, or is the updater-script bugged? It seems to start by mounting userdata, then formatting system , then unmounting system. I assume this is not normal behavior.
Anyone with a bit more knowledge care to add some information?

Mine is stuck at "Formatting System". Flashed CM11S firmware already. Don't know what wrong with the flashable zip.

I have also got the same problem as yours. @The Dj408 Which modem we should be in CM 11S or Color OS or some specific modem is required for it ?
I can confirm it doesnt work on MultiRom, is stuck on Miui Logo.
Maybe some dev could take a look at the Rom and tell us what we need.

MiUi 6 can be used as secondary rom via MultiROM , have no issues with it.
And i had issue with the proximity sensors, flashed the CM11S 44S Modem file and now everything works great, even the theme application.

Its a take it or leave it offer, brother. No one is gonna take the pains to fix that. Either you install the stock cam or live with the zen cam.

I don't know for myself, but you can give it a try. I'm not sure about R2 but R1 will work fine, I guess.
In case your phone get into bootloop flash the "boot.img" from zenui zip
A few app missing like browsers and specially sim manager. Cannot find switch sim 1 or 2 in setting option...

It took 30 minutes before I stopped the process

2. ROM
3. GAPPS
4. Reboot
I dont even know if its booting...
...i do not own this device.

Wipe only cache, data and dalvik. Keep system. Flash ROM and gapps then reboot.

I am not responsible for any damages on your device, i only tested the rom only on a310f variant, dont try on other variants if you dont have any backup
Do a full wipe before flash the rom.. and i suggest to do a backup..

I am making this post to help those of you who doesn't know how to push a file to system partition to fix camera crashing issue and flash sync bug in Nougat ROMs on redmi note 3.
I have made a video for better understanding .

But yeah , all you have to do is flash the file after flashing ROM on dirty flash the file on top of current ROM ( must be 7.1.1) and then reboot.
This is will fix camera .
I made the flashable zip.
But full credits goes to sir billchen1977 for making and sharing the basic fix.

Some had issues with permissions. Fortunately, theres a patch that skips setting new permission.
Take that xiaomi, we made a fully working nougat rom before you would've even started to work on it

And there was only module file..

Info from trusted sources ( please don't ask where) is saying that we will be getting first versions of miui based in nougat for redmi note 3 on end of this month .
By just using X-plore file manager in moving the file, all of the permissions are automatically set. All you have to do after moving the file is to reboot the phone.
