Hi just sharing some experience with my battery life as it lasted me more than half a day and I'm quite glad with the results. So let me share what i did...
*Rooted my phone
*Did a nandroid backup (in case battery readings are way off)
*Installed xposed
*Downloaded Boot Manager from xposed.
*Disabled unwanted startup apps such as facebook, etc.
*Downloaded Titanium backup and disabled some bloatwares like McAfee, Email, etc.
*Downloaded Battery calibration from playstore by NeMA.
*Charged my phone to 100% and did the calibration.
*i let the phone discharge and charge it up to 100% without opening the phone.
FAQ:
1. So what does battery calibration do exactly? - Root is required. It deletes your batterystats.bin and replaces it with a fresh one. This is usually used after flashing a custom rom. I tried my luck on stock and seen the difference.
2. Do i get a bootloop if i deleted batterystats.bin? - chance is 0%. You can actually manually delete it using your root explorer then reboot. Now after reboot, you can see that a new batterystats.bin is there.
3. Does battery calibration support all android device? - probably yes.
4. Does it improve battery life? - NO. it actually gives you an accurate reading of your battery. If your battery starts to drain faster than it should, go get a new battery.
And here i got almost 16 hours of battery as i wasn't able to last a day before without 2nd charge. I was at 4G with auto mode, played clash of clans, brightness set to 50 with auto brightness on, some music for 4 hours straight, and a lil bit of Youtube. Btw I'm using stock rom 4.4.2 and so far this is the best battery experience for me. Try it and I hope this also works for most of you.
Deleting batterystats.bin does nothing you describe.
All apps concerning this matter ("calibrating") are completely useless and bogus :good:
Kinda useless on our self-calibrating charging chip... Besides, batterystats does not influence displayed percent, if we are not talking about samsung phone on 2.3 rom...

I've got an LG G3 D855 that shuts down at about 30% every time. When it shuts down it says 0%. Ive just replaced the battery (twice) after getting stuck in the endless loop restart. Could this be a problem with the batterystats.bin file? Truly stumped here and would really appreciate some help.
Thanks, D.
Each time I reboot my OPT, the battery level drops by at least 4-5%. I also find the phone takes pretty long to boot in general (around half a minute, if not more). With my Huawei Mate 7, rebooting was a matter of seconds, and the battery hardly lost 1% in the process. (The phone had other issues, though ...)
Who is experiencing the same? What could be the issue? Purely apps autostarting, or could it be something else? Note that I am rooted, running Xposed (with only 2 modules: GravityBox and VibrateMode) and on Boeffla Kernel beta15. I don't use Greenify and Amplify (anymore) and don't perform any heavy tasks on startup, except for loading some widgets (Google News & Weather, Google Calendar and Google Keep).
Same
Happens to me as well, using the same kernel, though i use kernel Auditor app too which starts on reboot, have greenify aswell .. battery drains by 4-5% on a reboot
Wow ... this is really such bulls**t ...
I adjusted multiple settings today that each needed a reboot. First I was at 30% battery, after the reboot I was suddenly at 20%. Note that before that, the indicated battery percentage had stayed at 30% for about two hours, despite being on mobile data with apps running in the background (not normal!) Then, I made a nother reboot. Immediately after that, the battery was at 17%, then suddenly dropped to 15% after several minutes, and several minutes later again to 11%.
Clearly this is a bug in how OOS calculates the battery percentage and something OnePlus needs to address in (one of) the next system update(s).
EDIT: LOL ... while I wrote this, my battery dropped to 7% ...
i can second this..., so if you dont want your battery to drop, dont reboot! LoL, kind pain in the *ss

Yeah, but you sometimes have to, like when updating an Xposed module or changing a setting that requries a reboot ... though I admit, none of this happens on a daily basis.
I tried soft reboots, but those seem to lead to issues with the phone recognizing the network carrier correctly ...
Hello, OnePlus, are you going to fix all of these annoying bugs in the next OOS update?
Today: percentage stuck at 44%, down to 41% after reboot, drop to 33% after several minutes. This is the most extreme case I have experienced yet ...

That's exactly why i only updating xposed modules, adaway host etc at night before sleeping with the phone plugged to wall charger, LoL
Like those?
First time that happens to me.

Whoa! I never had it THAT extreme ... I wonder what is wrong with the way the battery percentage is calculated. Seems like something with the calibration is way off in OOS.
Another observation: This doesn't seem to happen when the battery is freshly charged. I just did 2 reboots after charging to 100%, the first time it dropped to 99%, the second time to 97%. -> more evidence that the percentage isn't properly calculated while the phone is in use, hence these heavy drops from time to time vs. percentage staying the same for multiple hours.
Yep I'm seeing this too, mine even appeared to jump up after a reboot a couple of times
I am having the same issues, easily leading to 5-10% less battery after rebooting!
Also, my battery goes through the first 15 % or so very easily and then settles, there is clearly something wrong with the calibration!
There is clearly something very wrong with the battery calibration and/or the way OOS calculates the remaining battery percentage/time. I charged my phone to 100% percent over night, played a power-hungry 3D game on the train for 30 minutes, then flashed the latest Boeffla Kernel and did two reboots. I was at 78% after playing and at 64% after the second reboot (which seems "normal"), now my phone is idling at 64% since 2 hours.
Notice that the remaining time is shown as less than 2 hrs, and has been like that for 2 hrs ... this is highly unlikely. Also, what's the big gap there? The reboots surely didn't take half an hour ...
I also experienced this battery percentage stuck thing it stuck at 24%for few hours during that period my cellular data is on and sot is also half an hour during that time.
After that battery percentage suddenly drops to 20%.
Was experiencing the same, I tried calibrating my battery (Let it die, then charge it while it's off to 100%, run a battery calibration app, restart, charge it again to 100%), I used a 5V/1.8A LG adaptor (and not the original one, which seems to mess up touch sensitivity) and it seems to be fixed by now.
Hi everyone, i have problem with my note 4, battery drops from 11 % to 3% very fast and charges after 85% very slow.. this problems started 2 days ago when i flashed dn5 custom rom i thought it was rom problem and flashed sixperience rom but still i have same issue also i tried battery calibration but again.... what can i do???? and my screen on time is only 3 hour. please help me, thanks.
Have you checked what's eating away at your battery? Settings => Battery (Here you should be able to see if anything is causing a drain).
If the settings screen doesn't seem to show anything, you could try BetterBatteryStats (This app will be able to tell you everything that's going on regarding running processes, wakelocks,... You should give it a day or so from a fully charged battery.)
And if even BBS doesn't show anything, I'd flash the stock firmware again (And check if it isn't the battery).

thanks for reply , well im checking that stats regulary and nothing is unusual there. even on stock rom i had only 3 hour screen on time :| but now my main problem is that after root + greenify and etc i have again 3 hour on screen and battery % is abnormal ( i mean fast dropping from 11% to 3% and slow charge after 85%) i have to change battery or i can fix it somehow?

Well, in all fairness, mine is running CM 12.1, and SOT is a bit under 4hrs. Which isn't fantastic either. Quickcharge does slow down a bit after a certain percentage. You could try a new battery, but might be a waste of money.
I'm afraid I can't help you any further, maybe someone else can.

did u change ur battey? im going to buy anker battery as i know they have good ones
I am facing exactly the same problem .. I don't think buying a new battery will solve this problem.
My mobile is charging by AC very very slow and sometimes it stuck at certain percentage for hours and I tried many things but I am still facing this problem... While recharging if I removed the battery and put it again, the phone shows me that it is 100% while it was not 100% at all.
I wish someone can help us about this problem or if any of u guys tried a new battery and the problem has been solved, so please feed us back in here
Any updates!?

well after 3 4 days (i mean after flashing sixperience rom) everything is ok. discharge to 0% then wait and full charge + calibrate battery may fix issue. but still dont like screen on time. only up to 3.5 4 hours
That sounds weard...
I mean the good thing is we could change the battery.
I have a feeling this is not battery issue. it's exynos + apps running on the background. Try to root + disable unnecessary apps (maybe Android 4.4 Would give you higher SOT). I had Note 3 previously and SOT was at the level of around 6 hrs (snap processor) - now on exynos it's around 4 hrs on stock firmware (5.1.1).
I've been having this strange problem these last few weeks. It happens in different ways.
1. Bellow 25% phone randomly shuts off then when i reboot its 0% battery.
2. Bellow 25% at random % I lose phone signal then the phone starts to lag and capacitive keys don't work then the phone shuts off and when i power it on its at 0%.
3. Phone gets to 15% i plug it in to charge, it doesn't charge but discharges to 0% then shuts off and after that it charges.
If i remove the battery then put it back in after it says 0% it may show 30%/20/15/13/25/30 etc. Sometime it doesn't charge after 87% or 92%. Is it the battery or is something else at fault? Also i can't get more then 2h15m screen time whatever i do and wifi drain is 30% in gsam.
Earlier I had same problemes on my Note 1 and it was because of my battery. Probably your problemes are becuse of your battery too.
Ok I will try a new battery.
I have exactly the same problem!!!!
Like exactly.
However I'd like to add some things:
1. Sometimes the radio signal for mobile starts randomly cutting in and out. It will be full bars, LTE, then nothing, no signal symbol. Then Full bars again, then no signal. In 1 minute revolutions. I am not physically moving during this time.
2. Even at near full battery the phone will get super laggy, stutter, and then finally crash. Once it reboots the battery will be 40% or something. Not super low but lower.
3. The camera seems to have a huge effect as well. I will open the camera, take a picture, and the picture won't save...it will just start to freeze the phone up until I have to pull the battery or it reboots on its own.
I also have a new battery coming in the mail.
However I should note that I am Note 4 910-H using a 910-C variant Custom ROM.
I was worried it was the special Modem I flashed to make the C variant ROM work on my H variant phone that was causing the problem.
Great, but unfortunate to see someone else having this issue too.
Ill post results of the new battery here.
Btw, ive been able to resurrect it from a very low state of charge (3% etc). The only way to do this is to use my fast charger. The fast charger is the only thing that will save it. Even then it takes ages to charge and gets white hot while it does. Its like the fast charger is battling for charge against some unknown force.
Post if you remember when you get your new battery. Hope that fixes it for you.
hi
my note 4 910c become very hot when i use the internet , can i change the modem from lower android like 4.2 to android 6 ? is it work ?
I have exactly the same problem and please if any1 finds any solution just share it here... I tried almost everything but not a new battery.
Battery Calibration By All The Ways, Battery Quick Start via *#0228#, Many Custom ROMs, Many Custom Kernels and Many Stock ROMs and the problem still the same even after I cleanly installed stock 6.0.1 ... Any help please.
Thanks in advance.
New Battery fixed 99% of my problems.
However the phone still randomly freezes and disconnects from cell service.
I think its the modem driver. Freezing might also be due to sd card.
I have A G935FD and when I first bought it. it was a bit laggy but much less than now. The battery lasted like 6h sot (8 months ago, fast charged it only once and it mostly started happening after that, also kept it next to a fan while doing that it's next to a fan while charging all the time since I already have one on my desk anyway).
When I'm outside even when I'm not doing anything special (Just talking to a friend on discord, Checking Instagram, reading an article on Google chrome) it gets very very very hot! it happens more in my grand mother's house for some reason. even though it still has full antenna there!
The battery life now is like 3.5H 3H 4H!
I'm currently downloading the Indonesia Firmware! maybe re flashing it with ODIN will help. mine was actually another but I guess since it was released later it's a bit better?!
can anyone help me?! any suggestions c:
Display drained 16%
Android System drained 12%

cell standby is 7%
android os is 7%

Googleplay services 3%

Maybe I should try a custom rom? I rather use stock android but whatever you suggest! I rather only do it if necessary since it still has warranty and stuff!
First go into recovery mode , do a wipe cache and factory reset , if that doesnt solve the issue , flash the original stock firmware through odin , i would not recommend flashing a custom rom as your phone is under warranty. If after flashing , problems still persist , then for the lagness and heating i can't say , it may be a hardware problem , but for the battery you can do a calibration , turn off fast charging , and never use it , first your battery should be at 3% or 4% , enter this code in dailer *#0228# , when you enter this you will see a info page but dont touch or tap anything especially that quickstart option ... dont try to touch that. just press back button and exit the menu, now drain your battery till phone doesnt turn on , then go in download mode , and let the phone be in download mode till it is dead again , now the battery is completely drained , now put the phone on charge and dont touch it until it is 100% and green light shows, it should improve battery , but if that doesnt improve anything and lagness/heat is still there , then you should go to samsung service centre and claim warranty if anything is faulty, btw my current SOT time is 6 to 7 hours , i dont experience heatness issue in normal use , and there is not that much of lagness that would annoy me. Good luck to you.

Draining my battery to 0 sounds scary since i know li-ion batteries but I guess I'll give it a try. I don't think the warranty will be useful but I'll try anyway c: Thanks a lot! <3
I'll update this further in case anyone's wondering but I flashed the newest firmware with odin and didn't use the Home_csc. But I want to say already everything feels smoother. But battery will take a bit to judge. It's still at 80% but I removed it from my fake wireless charger and moved it to wired (not fast though) to speed up things and let it cool down slightly (I should add a manual fan to it ) and i'll update here c:
Thanks for yourhelp!
Always do a factory reset and wipe cache after flashing a new firmware , also dont use fake chargers as they may also cause these heating ptoblems , well i also suffer heating issue when using tethering while charging , have you tried using any temp monitoring software to know how hot it gets ?

the odin re flash did help a little. but my battery life is 4H sot. Didn't heat up much though.

Wow bro your phone is even cool than mine
Anyways do a battery calibration as i posted earlier , doing this one time in a month won't harm your battery lifespan
Without calibration it actually got 5-5:30 battery life to absolute 0%. recalibration actually made it a bit worse but I guess I'm ok with that! it's not as bad as 3-4h now and I can use it without having to recharge it in middle of the day.
and also life advice:
if you disable fast charging it gets MUUUCH cooler my case (fake samsung charger that supports it, wireless ofc) and put a small 80mm pc fan next to it and I bet you it won't go higher than 27 degrees on any condition
disable fast charging
