Can anyone point me to a link for the PIT file for the SM-T580?
I downloaded the EU open PIT file but my device doesn't seem to like it.

Are you rooted?
If the answers to both the above are yes, you can extract the pit from your own device.....

i able to find it in the .tar file
I still haven't found the PIT file for a SM-T377V. Please share a link or more info on how to get this file. My tablet has no PIT and errors when trying to reset to default firmware.

As stated above you can find it in the CSC part of the firmware.
