Honor leaked some of their upcoming Black Friday sales in this tweet. The sale will include big discounts on the Honor 7X and Honor View 10. The Honor 7X will go on sale for $169.99 and the Honor View 10 will be down to $349. These sales will be held on Amazon, Newegg, and B&H Photo.
Why buy an Honor 7x when the Honor 8x is already out

I don't like to imagine such a place, Seriously, it is the fact that they are abandoning a good part of their core (especially here where an inexpensive rootable device is valued.

It saddens me too, and also in emui 9, they apparently block 3rd party launchers... wtf are they thinking at this point?

I think this all started when Huawei was rejected for putting devices in the big carrier stores and on plans. Now, they see the success the OT6T is having, and they are even more desperate to "prove themselves" to the US market that determined them a security risk before.

I doubt it. They have a contract with microsoft for the HD2... they couldn't do that without pissing ms off.

Did you bother to read it? Nowhere does it say that android is available for the HD2 from HTC. It's just some shop in the UK that is offering the option. They don't mention that they are voiding the factory warranty while they are doing it though.

Maybe it is a shop selling the phone whit a hack job install.
I saw it while playing on my new dual boot hd2 with android last night and thought it might be worth looking into by some of the xda experts. Ban me if you want, just telling you what I saw.
I'd post a pic of it here but can't even figure out how!!

Considering it's running off an SD Card and doesn't touch the NAND I really don't see how this would void any warranty.
All the link says is that you can install Android. And it's got the potential to 'provide a ɡrеаt boost tο thе sale οf thеѕе HTC HD2 contracts аnԁ thе pay аѕ уου ɡο mobile phones.', nowhere does it say it comes pre-loaded or you can buy a dualboot option.
Saw this on reddit today and figured I'd share. Assuming he's talking about 7.1.1 since it's pretty well known that dePixel8 can unlock pre 7.1.1. Having a hard time believing it...

Yeah, it's a joke. The whole post is ludicrous. He says, those that need it most "the unlockers", lmfao. What a clown. Those that need it most buy a Google version with easy bl unlock and not a Verizon model. Then there is the "I may have a way" because he has a "special way". If JCase releases anything then you can take it to the bank. Otherwise forget it.
Funny cause in the comments he said he was gonna make an XDA post last night haha
I know trolls are everywhere but it reminds me of some of the post we used to see in the Verizon Galaxy S4 forums. Unless you are on MDK that bootloader still is not unlocked

anyone know When is Android 7.1.1 Nougat coming to priv?
no
I don't think that the Priv will ever get Nougat. I am starting to accept it.
I have interest in this topic as well.

and yesterday just received the android security update !!!
Crackberry confirming no nougat. Very disappointing. And the keyone is a downgrade overall, so I guess it's time to go back to no keyboard because yet again no one makes them.

Sadly, no. It's nearly impossible to unlock bootloader on modern phones. I hope Google sees this phone and makes a pixel with a keyboard lol. Won't happen but one can dream!
So, Blackberry still wants to sell phones after treating "flagship" phone customers like this? I see the reason for not wanting to invest in a phone that few people use, but this hurts their reputation with existing customers who may want to upgrade.
We all Motorola User Wants Full Power of Our Devices that we have.
With 64 Bit OS We Can Use App & Mods Like Google Camera HDR+ Mode wich is Best Camera mode available to Android devices.
I have bought Moto G5 Plus this Year but Still have 32bit OS and in other place Redmi Note 3 has 64bit OS and it is Released 2 Years Ago.
Please Guy Request Motorola to Roll out new OS Updates in 64 Bit Architecture. ?

Have we done it before? I joined this month so I have no clue that it has been tried already
That is not going to happen, it's not that easy and remember, it's not Motorola anymore, it's lenovo.
If they decide to do it, that would be a mess at the time to get the update. I am pretty sure we needed to make a full wipe. It wouldn't be just an update, it would be installing a new system from scratch and that's not something a lot of people would like to do, including myself.
I haven't had any problem with the device running a 32bit system and I am pretty sure I won't.
I would like to get Google Cam just for HDR+ but it's not a big deal and I can live without it.
We have an amazing dev team for the device so there is nothing we are missing for having a 32bit system.

Yes... There have been several threads here since this device first released whining about it being 32-bit, wanting to pressure Lenovo about making a 64-bit version, comparing the difference between the 32/64 bit world's, etc.
Simple answer, it's 32-bit... It's going to stay to that way, live with it.

Samsung’s Galaxy Note 20 Smartphone Has Serious Problems
https://www.forbes.com/sites/gordon...pgrade-galaxy-s20-note-20-ultra/#1d838a584dab
This is the Note 20 Ultra forum. That article says - At $1,299, the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra is an expensive phone, but if you can afford a $1,000 smartphone chances are you can afford the extra and you’ll be getting a cutting edge device in every respect. So nothing to see here yes? Maybe those in the Note 20 forum might care?
