Q: CFW Suggestions - Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime Questions & Answers

Hello all!
I'm looking for a stable, up-to-date, light-weight (high battery life, low ram usage, least bloatware) and (almost) bug-free custom rom. Currently using the default MIUI Global 8.2.4.0 and have around 5 days of battery life on daily usage (no hard gaming etc). I'm not happy with the current ram usage of it and the amount of bloatware is more than I would be ok with.
Waiting for your suggestions. Thanks!

insights so far as battery life stock vs custom rom? [not undervolted]

I came from the HTC magic, which could run for days and days. I got a full days heavy use out of the nexus yesterday (first day with the device) and was wondering, do the custom roms w/ out all the undervolting stuff get better battery life in general? If so, is it significantly better?
For me right now, battery life is more important than tethering, so I might just stay stock for a while if its what will get me the best battery life

S5: Best ROM&Kernel for battery life & stability

I'm looking for the best S5 900F (klte) rom&kernel with a focus on battery life and stability. Customizability, user friendliness and 'snappiness' are also important. Heavy performance less so.
I'm currently on CM 12.1 nightlies. Not unhappy, but battery life isn't spectacular and stability is so-so. And I was hoping there were perhaps even better things now.

Which ROM have the best battery life? ?

Hi dears,
I am on stock Android 8.1 DP2. I barely get 5 to 6 hours on average use and 4 hours of screen on time which is bad for a 3400 mAh battery.
I am planning to root my phone to get the best possible battery performance along with some Pixel 2 features if possible.
Based on your experience, which ROM have it best when it comes to battery life?
It is a bit hard to test all the ROMs
Thanks all.
All the 8.1 ROMs are turning out quite nice. If it's pixel features you want try SuperXe stock version. 4 hours SOT is ok with me the higher amperage charging makes up for the difference.

Most Stable and Battery Friendly ROM for SM-G900F?

I will start to use a new S5 but I want to have a long battery duration. Now I'm on Havoc OS (Android 10) with Intelli kernel (Conservative Governor). But it seems like it has very limited battery saving features. I'm wanting most stable and least Battery drainer one. Can any one help?
Hi, Android 11 is awesome with battery usage and Dark mode.

ROM / kernel tierlist, battery drain

Hello there.
I'm looking for some opinions or reviews of custom ROMs and kernels.
I need best battery performance. But every time I try something new, the best I get is overnight battery drain (e.g.: I lose 20% of battery when sleeping).
I was using PixelExperience 11, which when I used greenify didn't have this overnight drain. Then I switched to A12 (ArrowOS) and here I am again.
I have 25% battery wear (real capacity around 3000 mAh), which is not great but performed good on PE11. My phone usually lasts one or two days of light use (Messenger, Discord, sometimes watching YT on 4G), which is not bad for two and half years old battery! But the overnight drain isn't good thing ...
I very doubt that every Mi 9T or Redmi K20 user has this poor battery performance - battery drain when not in use, on every custom ROM, so there must be some tweak (kernel?), ROM or something I don't know about. Or I am simply doing something wrong.
As I told you, I need best battery (and if it's possible, not MIUI). I'm currently on ArrowOS12 with InfinityBattery Kernel. ROMs, kernels suggestions? What's your battery performance? Do you have this drain too?
