Can anyone confirm that GCAM is working? and can we enable camera2api like before? I heard MI broke GCAM for good this time. No more GCAM in PIE??

I am in need of a Rom that supports camera 2 api. I have flash a few and instead of going through each one, does anyone know one that works. I have tried CRDroid, Lineage, and AOKP so far.
Thanks
No Nougat ROM supports it.

Is there a reason for this? Do OnePlus need to add support first or what?

First of all, Thanks all the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime developers ?
Still using this device only for them
Actually I want to know that, Is anyone working on any Android 8.1 rom for R4P?
I'm the stock Android rom lover so we'll be happy if anyone build a Pixel experience Rom for Us! ??
Thanks again ??
Yes, developers are working on Oreo. Once their respective builds are up with oreo, I believe they will look into pixel experience too. Have patience and enjoy Nougat, for now.

Yes, camera does not work, but what sound bug are you talking about? Music, alarm and notifications work fine.

I tried the latest beta. It's worked fine without camera.
Hope it'll be stable soon for daily use. Can't wait to use Oreo.
Thanks to @Razziell for working for us ?

Greetings everyone!
I've recently flashed my first custom ROM on this device (AOKP 8.1) and, after installing GCam with the relative modules, I discovered that Slow Motion makes the app crash!
Any known fixes/reasons?

Hi Guys! Firstly, I am not a developer nor a maintainor. I am just letting you know that there is an Oreo ROM being developed for this device.
All credits goes to MoKee and a platina maintainer - glory.

*I haven't tested it yet so please update this thread with screenshot if you have tried.*

Yes, it's okay.
And you can also use Acrux Kernel if you want. This is the combo I use at the moment. With great battery life and super stable.

I've found that there's an official stock Pie rom for Max Pro M1
https://www.asus.com/in/Phone/ZenFone-Max-Pro-ZB601KL/HelpDesk_BIOS/
Anyone one tried? Can the Camera 2 API be enabled?
Thanks.

Yes... Overall i feel like my device got slower after upgrading. Also there's the issue with volume controls in landscape mode.

I have 6gb Indian version. I got OTA Pie last week. I didn't feel any lag or bug in the Pie.
Also, I enabled the Camera2 API after the Pie update.
