Hi guys,
i stumbled into a problem with my Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) after an update (google securit update before update to Android 8.1). After the update my Kaspersky AV App found a suspicious .apk-file in the system-folder.
„/system/csc/XEF/system/app/20150626_LeKiosk/20150626_LeKiosk.apk“
The App is not installed and the file was updated when i installed the security patch. Kaspersky said the App is „not a virus“. It seems to be part of an french pre-install package. LeKiosk can be found in Play Store too.
I just want to know if any of you guys has this .apk file in the same folder as me. Guess it has to be europe-area.
Thx in advance.
Don't use some fake anti-virus software. You already have Google protect and if you have some brain then you won't need Google protect either. Samsung is not Huawei or some other ****ty Chinese phone company they don't include spyware or malware. Your anti-virus software just sucks

Hi! I think the software you are looking for is available in the market which I have personally used, it will help you to update your android device to latest android OS.
The software is named as Android Magnet (androidmagnet.com) and I think they have recently released their beta version. I have used this software to update my Galaxy S3, and guess what this somehow works, my phone is now updated to kitkat 4.4.2.
I think you should give it a try

When you navigate to the download page and press download, you'll be directed to a page where you have to complete a survey. Probably a scam....

Hello @all here,
I bought a SM-N9100 (Note 4 DuoS) in Germany as an international Version (Hong Kong) with 5.0.1 and PlayStore preinstalled.
After some very bad and suspicious preinstalled System apps disturbed my joy, I decided to root the phone with CF, what went perfect.
After downloading a anti irus software and all my stuff from playstore (including the missing Play Services), i uninstalled all above mentioned crap- and bloatware using Jumobile System app uninstaller.
Sometimes, a small ad Pops up, asking me ti install SuperbCleaner and a kind of game, but pressing on it, it always disappears.
Now I wanted to use Chrome for the first time, which popped up several suspicious Websites, each in a new tab.
Scanning with several malware-Killers, i found
Processor.apk
and
Com.Android.OS
two obviously well known malware-apps, which i deactivated.
To be honest, i am not positive, if this was the final shot against my Problem and I am very angry about Samsung, preinstalling all this **** as system app!
Maybe there is someone else here, having the same Problems?
What did you do solving them?
Did you have success?
PLS help me collecting all installed rubbish in StockRom 5.0.1
Many thanks
Michael
I can't install the latest version or update from the Google Play Store because it says the app is incompatible with my device, and the version on my phone is several generations old from what is currently in the Play Store. Does anyone know how to update to the latest version? I'm stuck with the ugliest skin with the version installed as a system app.

Hello Everyone!
I'm hoping I can get some good advice on how to fix the issue that has come up.
I will try to be as detailed as I can in describing what has happened.
I started out with my Samsung S5 DUOS rooted on Android 4.4.2 but I had to update due to apps dropping support for 4.4.2.
Using Odin I installed Official Samsung 6.0.1 update for Android 6.0.1, after which I rooted the phone using the correct Chainfire Rooting package,
and after this I also installed the latest correct TWRP Recovery.
When starting up the phone everything was working fine except Google Services Framework and Play Store kept crashing constantly which I then solved by grabbing the APK's from another Samsung S5 running Android 6.0.1 and installed those on my phone. This fixed the crashing issue entirely and everything is now 100% stable and working just fine.
Which brings me to my problem: In the Play Store app it seems now that it is partially in English. I am running the phone set entirely to Swedish language otherwise. So most of the Play Store displays in Swedish, but certain things such as "Downloading" or "Install" or certain menu options of the app itself displays in English rather than Swedish. Also the app name is Play Store rather than "Play Butik" in Swedish. I thought that these APKs had all languages integrated in them and displayed the correct language depending on the language setting of the phone itself.
Any and all help to fix this so that I can have Play Store app run in Swedish would be appreciated very very much.
Kindest regards,
XDAFan.
P.S If I have posted this in the wrong place please move it to where it's supposed to go.
Might be a bug and ruled out with the next version of Playstore. I assume there are quite frequent updates, but performed in the background, like the Play Services updates.

That is an interesting theory! I went to APK Mirror and checked the versions of the APK's that I had pulled from the other (identical) phone and the Play Services APK was a match but the Playstore was outdated(!) so I pulled the latest compatible (Android 6.0+) version of that that I could find on APK Mirror and installed it and that fixed the problem!!
So BIG THANKS for thinking of this as a possible cause of my problem and the solution to it!
Kindest regards,
XDAFan.
