GPS Tracking not possible? - OnePlus 6T Questions & Answers

Hi,
for running and sports, I use Runtastic to track my GPS location but im still not able to record a whole training with that phone.
First try: Blindly hoped everything will work. I ran 40 Minutes. After 5 GPS was lost. After 15 APP stopped recording running time.
Second try:
Deactivated Battery Optimization for Runtastic
Deactivated both extended Battery Optimization options
Deactivated Intelligent Battery
Then I ran again with the result of loosing GPS after 15 minutes. App recorded the time normally. So at least one step further.
What can I also do? I dont want to root or flash roms. Thanks for any reply
Here is my run in result:

EVERY setting in Maps is turned off. No latitude, now, or anything. I'm down to manually disabling GPS now. I'll check my phone randomly to see the time, look for missed messages, etc, and I can see the freaking GPS fix icon in the status bar for a second. How do I convince Maps not to keep my phone awake to get a GPS fix?
If this is a software reflash all the stock .img with fastboot. Search for it at another thread. Let me see if I can find it again. If that doesn't work disable the GPS in any way possible. That's what I would do. I clearly don't have this problem. Might've been a bug in maps when you got the phone.

hi, I'm just testing on this app, and this is my first app
this app will calculate battery consumption of GPS/Wi-Fi
Note:
In order to capture the battery drop in normal usage of phone, first you have to disable GPS/Wi-Fi interfaces then leave the phone for 10 minutes.
The battery level should be captured before and after this period.
There is also indicator of time when you tab on "Start". once it reach 10 minute, you can tab on "Result" to get the result. the time will stop on its own.

"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",

}
Note:
For GPS,first enable GPS and run your program for 10 minutes second to capture the drop in the battery level.During this period, you have to work with GPS. For example, you can run googlemap program in the background.
This for testing purpose only. and im very sure there will be a lot of bug, please comment
Im also willing to share the code if anyone wants it.

Wifi turned off, but built-in battery monitor shows it was on the whole time!

I'm getting crazy. Wakelock shows nothing suspicious, greeinfied all the apps that run in the background and no bloatware. But when i turn the wifi off, the battery monitor shows it was on! What the hell? What can i do?

UPDATE:
Changing the accuracy mode on the gps settings to GPS only and after a 10 minute airplane mode, they did nothing. But when i installed GSAM and root companion + a restart, weirdly, it fixed itself. I hope this got all fixed. We'll see :/
Well, it came back. **** lollipop. It seems to be a bug. Im going back to kitkat, then. Lets call this solved, i guess

Google Play Services drains battery each morning

Hi all! Please see the screenshot attached.
Every morning Google Play Services is at the top of the drain list when I don't use my phone.
So I disconnect the charger, it's 100%, leave my phone for 20-30 min, all apps closed. Come back and see that 2-4% of battery are gone. Happens every morning.
It shows GPS usage of 7-10 mins. Why? How to make it stop? I allowed GPS use only to 4 programs - 1 navigation, 2 taxi, 1 subway. And they are offline when it happens.
Software update is set only when phone is charging on WiFi.

Note 4 GPS long time to lock on

Hey guys, After updating to MM on my 910G, I've not been able to get a lock in under a clear unobstructed sky in less then a minute, it usually takes nearly 2 minutes to get a lock, but I always get around 25 satellites in view, just none locking on.
Here is an image

.
As you can see, I also have a good signal to them, but after about a minute and a half it will then finally lock on.
On Lollipop it would lock in, in about 10 seconds.
I've tried flashing Dr. Ketans rom as well, and it is still the same, does anyone else experience the same thing?
