Hello I wana buy x10. Which colour to buy and which 1 gets more fingerprints etc. please share your thoughts
I have black, it looks very elegant. White looks very modern and clean. But elegance is my style.
Get the White and protect the screen with matte screen protector and CapDase Soft Case to protect the outer casing.
I think there was a similar thread before.
The black matte finish doesn't really show fingerprints. The white glossy finish is more susceptible to fingerprints but it doesn't show clearly because it's white.

I have white and I have played with black. I do love them both, Xperia X10 in general is a good looking and designed phone. It depends on your style and how you feel to see everyday in your hands.
You will be happy with either of them, specially since buying a different housing is not expensive anymore.

We see a couple threads on who has which colors, but see none about the Black one. Not a bashing thread to say black is better than the other colors (we're a big MT4G family). Just who has black and why picked over the other colors? In my own opinion black just looks sleek and official. I love the other colors they look nice but I just look at them as playful/kid colors (agian.. my opinion only). MT4G isn't really concidered as a business phone as much as a Blackberry would be, but it gives it that business type feel and look... Your turn...

I have a black one. The red one looked nice too but I like more understatements.... Plum and White looked too tacky for me
I picked the black. When I checked out the other color demo phones I noticed that the hard rubber is painted, not fully stained and black underneath the color layer. Some of the red and plum models had scratches that showed the black coming through. I figured with a black to start with scratches won't show as much.
I guess I could have bought a case to make sure I never get any scratches but what would have been the point of getting a colored one if it's covered by a case anyway, right?
Great. Now I'm re-thinking my decision to go with white again. Curse you. Curse you all!

Have you ever thought that clients might look favorably on a white/metal/black one? Perhaps they may even be more apt to *remember* you. They may even consider you an out-of-the-box kind of guy, perhaps even ever so slightly fashion forward *shudder*.
Is it really the case that everyone in the business community carry around black phones (even in LA)? I see this raised now and then and I just kind of cringe.

I think that the Black on Black color was the best because it looked the most uniform.
I picked the black because I think it looks a bit sleeker. Would have loved to seen a silver/yellow color combo. Not to change the subject but what class sdcard did your blacks come with. Mine is class 2.
Hate white, plus hated the tri-color scheme on the white. Loved the red and the plum equally. Was going to go for the plum, but hubby surprised me and ordered the black.
Now that I look at it and played with it for 2 days, I really like the black. I think it looks classier.

I don't know. The first thing what I did when getting the phone was switching the SD card from 8 to 16 GB class 6.
Black phone to go with the black battery cover. Makes no sense that they wouldn't color match with the others, you get the black back no matter what. Still, aside from the Nexus, every phone I've had in the past 5 years have been black.
And mine came with a class 4 card.
I got the black one cause that's all the store I went to had lol. Seriously though I thought about the red one but I some times put a case on it so what would be the point of a colored phone plus the whole scratches thing that someone mentioned earlier. And the white looked kinda cheap and plasticy just my opinion though.

I honestly dont see a lot of colored phones through out my day but ive never really tallied up the numbers lol... its just my personal opinion :/

Yup, i wanted white cause i thought it would be pimp like the white EVO but when i noticed it was half white, half black, and the battery cover was silver, i couldnt stand the thought of owning it.
I just ordered my black one because it was 50/50 white/black for me.
Black on black was the most classiest one. If they had an all white MT4G...
I wanted black/red. But went with white because of the case they ad available for it. The Flex Protect one, with the grey gel insert, and the white protective hard case. I thought the piano finish on the white was nice. And, after going back and looking at them again, only the black woul dmake me change my mind now.
If only they had a flex case in black...
I got the black one because it was the only one that was available at Costco. It's cool though, the Black MT4G looks pretty classy.
I bought the black one because I purchased the white mytouch3g because it was the only color at the time and always wanted the black one.
Very happy! It looks professional and I wouldn't go with any other color.

I ordered the white one of that helps
The blue is more like black.
Anyway, I prefer black simply because the screen has very hight contrast and deep black colour. I can't even tell the difference between black screen and the black bezel, which is great for watching videos or work with black background apps. I'd think the deep black screen and white bezel will not go well together as all black screen and bezel.
my 2 cents..
I think all of us are going to keep our Note in some kind of case, let it be a leather case or and hard protective case.
That being said we would hardly see the body of the Note anyways..

I had the same dilemma. I thought the White looks cool but was worried that it will look dirty easier with scratches and such.
I ended up with the Black due to Timing and Price. Plus...my wife told me she thinks White is for the ladies

The blue one is black, and the white one is for Ladies.
White one looks way better than the dark blue. Anyone saying its for the ladies is probably insecure about their masculinity.
On the blue one is it just the back thats blue? All the pics i see look like the front bezal is black.

The font of the phone and underneath the battery cover is black, it's just the battery cover is very very dark blue, basic black at first glance.
Will white phones discolor easily? I'm sure we've all seen white plastic things that have turned yellow.

Not unless you're touching it with curry on your hands or you're a smoker. None of my white electronics have ever discolored.

I got black or whatever blue one. Total sleekness. I hate the white one with all those sensor holes showing. Plain and simple look is the best for me in my own pinion. You will not regret buying the black one but may regret buying a white one.....

Yep, it's nice. It comes for free with the Note here in HK.
However, the brown case to my mind looks so much nicer.

I'm going to buy LG G2 soon and I was 100% sure that I will get the white color but alot of people said that they have a black version or would go for a black if they were to choose. So now Im not sure which one to get.
For me personally the white one looks more premium and the big display pops out even more than on the black version. Also the fingerprints wont show as much as on the black one. The black one looks kinda ordinary, like every other phone.
But what do you think?
Personally I prefer Black, but currently the G2 I have (LS980 Sprint variant) is white. I got it for a great price so, I couldn't pass that up just 'cause of the damned color of the device.
But by all means, Black all the way... just my opinion, of course.
As far as the G2 looking "ordinary," obviously once you get it you'll realize soon enough that it's the most unique smartphone to come out in many years. How many other smartphones have zero side buttons at all? Zero, that's how many... except the G3.
I love my white one, and agree with you about the plusses of the white. Also, it shows off the thin bezel better.

Of course I mean just the black color, like most of the phones are black maybe thats why the white one looks differend. But G2 by itself is an unordinary phone The edge to edge display looks just amazing on that body And the back buttons are interesting, I'm used to buttons on the side and top so I'm kind of curious if I will get used to them But we will see.

Thank you, yeah on the black one you actually cant see as clearly how big the display is. But its because of the contrast that the white one looks better.
Personally I think the back buttons could look better, if they would be black like they are on the red or gold variants, it would be perfect. But its a phone, so you will barely look at the back. So it kinda doesnt matter. Front is most important

Doesn't really matter to me I suppose since I keep it inside the TPU of the Slim Armor case and I hardly ever have the bare phone in my hand for whatever reason. I just prefer Black as a color - to me it looks better on the face of the device with the display being the only thing that should be "lit up" or bright in color. Just a personal preference, nothing more.
Yes you are right, I will use a case too so it doesnt matter that much anyway. I have bought a flip case and some ultra thin case, looks cool Yea actually as you said, it looks good when its all black and only the display lits up. Both colors look good for me.

I preferred the white over the black. It really boils down to personal preference. You could get a black case, the combo makes the phone pop.
I have a Zagg screen protector on mines. I got it at radio shack for like $3.00

Yes I think I know what you mean, some people said to me it looks more "elegant" to them. But I think so does a white one, for me even more elegant Well the display is perfect so I dont think it will be a difference. Just that on white one you can see the frame of the display. Ortherwise it should be the same.
Where did you get spigen case btw? Is it original or fake one?

I ended up with the Incipio DualPro. Doesn't add much bulk and feels good in the hands. The only thing I had heard about the Incipio was to stay away from the white case, It gets dirty easily.
Thats probably a good thing to do in general, to stay away from white cases But i would get the spigen one instead of incipio. This one looks kinda ordinary. And black color. White phone + black case = the best combo

at first I only wanted the green. But in the states, it's the 8 GB version which I don't want. I ended up ordering black, the blue is sold out. It wasn't until I received the black and opened it, and set it up - when I realized that this is by far the best color. It's absolutely gorgeous.

Both the colors are second to none and equally good. I haven't seen this good looking colours in a smartphone for years..

Meh... I'm in my 40s and I'm a fan of it. Unfortunately the sandstone case doesn't really suit my lifestyle. Need something more rugged and the UAG fits the bill. Had them for my last 4 phones

As for the OP.
I wanted black because I don't like bright weird colours, looked girly.
But the only 256 available was the green..
Took a chance and odered it and it looks phenomenal, transparent case which comes in the box looks good too
I'd say just go for the cheapest option you want and get a skin on it from DBrand, that's what I've done.
