Did you have to wipe internal storage? Mine is looping on Mi logo after flashing every partition except internal storage.
Edit : Working fine now after doing Factory Reset in Recovery.

If you are rooted, have TWRP, you can flash xiaomi.eu or miuipro from recovery. I went from xiaomi.eu 7.20 to miuipro 8.14 to xiaomi.eu 8.17 without wipes.

Recovery version https://sourceforge.net/projects/xi.../files/xiaomi.eu/MIUI-WEEKLY-RELEASES/7.8.17/
Only thing I dont like with xiaomi.eu vs miuipro is that the new animated icons isnt included. In official and miuipro, playstore and photos, for example is animated in the launcher.
I'm facing controller game detected always. How to turn off. I try different keyboard and whatsoever it failed. Why this ROM is detecting me always using a controller. How to fix it.
How to disable it.
Is miui 9 have bug in sound enhancer while using earphone? Cause every time I turn on it my earphone does not work. Or I sounds annoyingly.

The only things broken are live display and auto brightness. Here's the link: THREAD
Pretty impresive for a generic image. Our Android phones are becoming like PCs.
Edit: Nothing is broken in v4.

No need for TWRP I believe, fastboot will suffice. Also the phone has the A-only partition type, not A-B.

Can i install Huawei camera? it works with the dual camera for bokeh effect right?

Unlock the bootloader, factory reset from recovery, flash system image from fastboot, factory reset from recovery, then reboot. Also make sure that you have upgraded to EMUI 8 / Android 8. I only tested the stock GSI.
So I've been testing this for awhile. I can't find anything broken. Plus the live display and auto brightness features are fixed in v4. I don't have Bluetooth headphones to test that but I did test a Bluetooth controller and it works fine. It's worth noting that the openkirin team are working on this rom (or at least their patches get merged in) so it probably has newer patches and fixes that aren't in the ROMs on this forum.

One more thing. If you have a slow LTE connection, you can fix that by installing kernel auditor and setting the TCP mode to Reno. Then it'll be back to full speed. (In misc.)

it's pretty fast, maybe 10 - 15 minutes..
boot to twrp, factory reset, reboot to recovery, install file .img as system image, reboot to recovery, install gapps & magisk, reboot system..
Team Openkirin has released GSI images but still haven't give us instructions to use them

Make sure you are in oreo stock rom, boot to twrp, factory reset, format data if you want to clean flash, flash system image, reboot to recovery, flash gapps for rr, flash magisk, reboot to system..
I did that and it was booting normally..
I am on Elemental Rom 1.1. Its emui 8 but not Boot. Do the Same you wrote. Maybe Data Format to ext4? I dont unterstand the Reason why not Boot.

Guys, I might be asking a dumb question, but really needs some help here.
I did the update from lastest stable to the new beta (9.3.7), but I want to revert it back to stock stable rom. There's a way of doing that without flashing it through fastboot mode? The Updater app keeps showing the same error as the #15...
Worked for me...and get update weekly
Hello, I am in xiaomi.eu miui 11 stable, not custom kernel, previously in RevOS and from an old update I get an error message in the stock camera soon, *no-support-for-this-app-on-this-forum* camera also close.
I have started again to flick through fasboot rom global stable, etc. until I return to rom xiaomi.eu and the camera error has reappeared.
I have to replace the camera?
Can anyone have the solution?
sorry for my English but it's not my language, thanks
