I have had my nexus 7 for around 3 months now and have noticed that there appears to be a frozen image of the white elements of my home scree that are slightly but permanently visible. It is quite faint but I have noticed that things like the digital clock, and the white notifications are always visible. Sometimes even with the chrome Web browser get stuck being visible on the home scree. Is this a problem that others have and is there a way to fix this?
Thanks
does it appear while taking a screenshot? if not, its the pixels burnt into the display if you left the screen on the same picture for too long.
hey
when I go in camera mode there are 3 screen artifacts, one blue one green and one red, they are about 4 or 5 pixels in size and are spread out across the screen.
when I take the picture and view in gallery, the artifacts are not there, so clearly they are not an issue with the censor.
When I view a picture or a solid screen, the screen looks fine so its not a stuck pixel or problem with the phones display.
this leads me to believe its an issue with the camera app, does anyone else notice this??
Wut?
i notice that my display is not uniform ... first i notice when i pull down my notification bar. But seems to be on dark grey or dark pink as well. I can see clearly when is not much light in room. Is just mine or is a common problem? Sry for bad quality pics.
even worse
Hi,
same with my S5. You can see the non uniformity best when the background is grey and the brightness low:
Can someone post a picture of his S5 at the lowest brightness with grey background to show how it should look with a uniform screen?
So I recently noticed a thick but light band running vertically through the center of my screen
Is this normal for this phone? It's only visible on dark gray backgrounds and its still so light you can hardly see it, but it is noticeably there.
I don't want to rma for a refurb and I can live with it but I don't want this to be the sort of issue that gets worse with time.
