Axon 7 stuck on axon logo for a few minutes. - ZTE Axon 7 Questions & Answers

Hey guys, so I was using my phone earlier today and i decided to restart it and then it went through the zte logo and then got stuck at the axon logo for a long time. my phone isn't rooted. after a while it goes to the lock screen and then instantly goes back to the axon logo. i've tried rebooting in safe mode and rebooting in bootloader but those dont work. right now after it goes on the axon logo for a minute it goes to a black screen.
oh yes, of note the phone can be connected to the computer and it reads it but i had it connected as a camera before and so its only connected as a camera.
i'm not sure what to do. thanks for the help guys!

You can try to reset the axon 7 to factory settings
Via the recovery

Have you installed any apps before this happened?
Or did you root the phone with Kingoroot?

I'm not sure with reset but if you have installed another ROM check the play store settings in device info.
You will see "device not certified" if you have a different rom.

Try to get it into TWRP over and over and wipe data if you do and reboot.
If not, try this as a last resort

Just happened to me yesterday, press and the Power and Volume down until the phone resets, holding both until the LG logo pops up. When it pops up immediately release ONLY power then press and hold it again and you should receive a prompt for factory reset. Confirm it then if you had TWRP previously installed you should be able to back to it after resetting. From there you can just push a ROM and/or gapps via ADB like I did yesterday . Feel free to message me if you have any issues, I'm back working fulling functional and would be glad to help you if needed. You can also message me on Hangouts as well @ [email protected] . Best of luck!

[Q] Stuck in Bootloop with CM11

So I'm rooted with TWRP loki and had CM 11 on and running for a while. I just downloaded the latest nightly through CM OS and it asked to be rebooted.
Upon rebooting to TWRP and installing the update it then just kept on trying to reboot with the CM logo. I cannot get the power and volume keys to boot it to recovery and my computer won't recognize it in this state to boot into recovery.
Any ideas??!! Please! I don't know of any way to restore it.

I had to take the back off and manually unplug the battery to turn it off. Then I tried the button combinations posted *power and V down* when LG logo comes on repeat to get to wipe screen. However, the phone did not go to the wipe screen, it just rebooted again.
If I could get it to boot to recovery I'd be golden.

Error due to low batter. I'll have to see if I can charge it without it wanting to turn on. However, it looks promising -- after three times trying I got the utility to recognize the device at least!
Either way, I appreciate the assistance.

Help, My Nexus 7 is dead!

I have a Nexus 7 2012 version since 2014, after many updates and installing apps it was becoming slowly and unusable, so I dicided to flash and install Cyanogenmod 12.1, after installing it, all was fast and smooth, I loved it, but after a month it was turning laggy again, so I decided to use Nexus Root Toolkit to come back to 4.4.4 stock. After flashing, the tablet still in recovery mode, I selected START using the buttons, and the Google logo appeared but a little message in the corner of the screen scared me, it said "booting failed" , so I tried to flash again, but now using the option "the tablet is bricked/bootloop" but it didn't work, so I tried to turn off the tablet and power in again, but nothing happened when I tried to turn on again, the tablet didn't turned on and now it still off, when I plug the charger the battery logo doesn't appear and tried to press the power button for 30 seconds without success, I need help guys, someone told me that it will be possible to fix it, but he doesn't know how to do it.
Thanks for your attention!
Hello,
please charge you Nexus 7 (2012) 2 hours and then try to boot into Fastboot-Mode!
Try holding power button and volume down until the Google logo shows up
I fixed my nexus 7 doing that when it wouldn't turn on

About a year ago, I decided to try the 5.0 release. Upon installation and reboot, It stuck at the "Google" logo. I was able to get into the bootloader, and it said it was still unlocked, but I couldn't do anything: boot to system failed, and even boot to recovery failed. Formatting/deleting the various partitions failed (cache partition was corrupt but couldn't be formatted); flashing a bootloader from the latest Google images didn't help.
I fixed it by buying a used motherboard from eBay for $30. It was fine with 4.4.4/f2fs for about three months, but when I once again upgraded to 5.0, the *exact same* thing happened.
I now have yet another motherboard and will not ever upgrade past KitKat.

you are not alone...?
Same issue on one I have my hands on. This could get interesting.
From fastboot can anything be pushed/flashed like a previous actually functional firmware? Is there other specific software to do so? Only got my hands on the defective non functional device today but I'm planning and scheming a fix if possible.
One thing is really interesting. Why only after this update???? Why not after update from 6 to 7 then 7 to 7.1 and after 7.1 to 8.0. I think Google or Huawei is cheating us and forcing us to buy Google pixel.
I also have this issue (I'm using a nexus 5x, but this thread is the closest to my issue I've found), but it came incrementally. First, I started getting reboots every 20m or so, while doing normal phone things (reading, mostly). Then it started getting into bootloops that were 2-3 boots long, and would then work normally for the 20m mentioned above. I tried a factory reset, but it just got worse, and now either reboots on the Google logo or during the Android animation. My fastboot menu only has the regular "Start" as green. The only other options are Restart Bootloader, in red, and Recovery mode, also in red. Power off is there, obviously, but that's it. It started happening yesterday, and worsened to its current point within only a few hours.
Well. I have just joined the club. What is going on with that?
Happened to me today and I was using the latest build of SuperXE 6P.
Guys! lol
1. Dev options in ROM is same old. Settings/about and tap build 10 times to see count down to developer. Back to settings. In there for OEM unlock
2. Factory reset can be done any number of ways.
a. In ROM. Settings/backup and reset/factory reset.
b. From anywhere, hold power+volume down until you see the bootloader. There are 2 possible screens in there. One of them has factory reset. Beware! From here it will likely wipe your sdcard!
c. From recovery. You can get there from bootloader. You can also flash an up to date recovery image from bootloader.
The rest of your recovery process should be provided by the ROM thread by which you will get your choice of ROM.
Make sure you have access to a PC with adb. You will likely need to flash a vendor image
My device is only recognized in fastboot mode. No ADB, no recovery. Tried to uninstall and manually install latest USB drivers, it didn't work. My Nexus is now just stucked in a bootloop. I even tried to flash factory images to no avail. Really don't know what to do...
FYI I have no screen in bootloader allowing me to factory reset: only Start/Reboot/Reboot bootloader/Barcodes, as others stated above.

[BRICK] Nexus 7 (2012) wont turn OFF (yes!!), Bricked at Boot, Cant access Recovery

The current state of my tablet is quite curious: Its stuck on Google logo and it will be this way until the battery completely drains.
What I've tried:
- Holding the Power button shuts it down for 1 second...then it boots right back up by itself.
- Recovery (POWER+VOL DOWN) doesnt work, it goes straight to Google screen.
- Connecting via USB to the computer, Windows doesnt recognize the device.
In fact, the only way I found to Turn the Tablet off is popping the back cover and unplugging the battery cable. I've left it unplugged at night, hoping it would clear some sort of Cache, didnt work. Also I've tried unplugging the battery cable, plugging it back and Turning it on with POWER+VOL DOWN in hopes of acessing recovery but it goes straight to Google screen.
Additional Info:
- This happened while I was trying to downgrade from 5.1 to 4.4.4.
- My device is the LTE version of N7 2012
- My device is currently rooted.
@RavenEffect hold down the power button for at least 20 seconds to turn it off, 1 second is not enough
How did you try to downgrade? Probably flashing went wrong? In worst cases the bootloader was erased during downgrade ... in that case ther will be no hope.

1 second is the ammount of time the tablet remains off, not the ammount of time i've pressed it. Yes, I've held it 20 seconds obviously.

Followed this guide right here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Bz6x7k-VkpUJU09paVM5cmh2Xzg/view
All the steps worked until the fastboot flash boot .\boot.img command. Sometimes it would get stuck on the command prompt and the tablet was frozen in Recovery Mode. I had to close the command Prompt, reboot the tablet into recovery again and Flashing another thing first, like recovery and system and THEN i would flash the boot.img.
So theres no hope?
First of all which factory image package did you use?

Yeah, of course, but there is one problem. I can't boot into recovery mode, the bootloader got destroyed. So the only thing I have is either google logo with padlock on the bottom or nothing with APX mode. So no ADB, no FASTBOOT.

I know for mediatek, there is smartphoneflashtool, which flashes to the device when it's turned off. I don't know if there is an equivalent that you can use.
I don't think NRT does it, so you might be screwed.
There is nvflash ... but only if you have backed up *your* individual device images before you need them. So if your device is already bricked there is no chance ...

Problem is that, when you plug the Tablet to the PC via USB, it doesnt recognize the device, like I've stated on the original post, so I cant even get to a step where I can flash any sort of file.
Well, if I think about it, only the bootloader got destroyed. The image is free on google sites. I just have to put the bootloader image into the tablet so I can get to the bootloader and flash everything else with fastboot. There has to be way to do that. I mean if the "BIOS" (screen with google logo) got destroyed, that is bad, but it is just matter of damage on free to share universal loader. There has to be way...
