Hi,
My brother in law dropped his Huawei P9 Lite (VNS-L31) non-rooted (stock recovery and rom) in the toilet... The phone was dried immediatly afterwards.
The phone was in a bootloop afterwards, so we tried to factory reset the phone. But now the phone is stuck at "Installing update 5%" when it is powered on - and it's not possible to power down the phone while it's stuck.
I tried "Download latest version and recovery" from the EMUI standard recovery but it fails to download.
Do you have any ideas how to fix it?
Is it possible to flash custom recovery and stock rom? Or maybe a easier solution?
I hope you can help! Thanks in advance!
Kind regards
Frederik
Same problem for Huawei p8 lite that I have. Couldn't find a solution other than pay for DC-Phoenix and re-flash it, so I'm waiting for them to decrease the price or find another solution to revive this phone.
Hope someone could help

i have a meizu mx3 HK M353. i updated to the new firmware 3.0.2. my phone died whilst on charge and is now stuck in a boot loop. when i turn it on it vibrates, shows the word 'meizu' then it restarts that cycle. i have booted in to recovery and tried reflashing 3.0.1 and then 3.0.2 which both have successfully updated but the problem still exists.
any help much appreciated

hello, my phone was asking for an update, so i started to download it right after that it started to install.
so it got installed, then it reboots and keeps stuck on loading the Huawei logo (after the huawei sound)
can keep the phone on for like an hour, but still keeps stuck on the same screen.
so i tried to wipe the phone with starting it up holding volume + & power
then choose option factory reset.
but still no difference....
anyone got a solution for me ?
(need this phone for work, cant be missed longer as a day....)
HUGE thx in advance if someone knows a fix!
if you have a solution please telle me i have the same problem
Hey guys...
Recently unlocked bootloader and rooted my Huawei P8 lite. Decided to do a factory reset, but phone just hangs at the bootloading stage where it shows the Huawei logo.
Any ideas how I can get past this point or indeed why it's hanging there?
Many thanks in advance.
re-flash the ROM
I cant update my p8 lite or factpry reset, when i try, it just goes black and cant do anything. When i try to power up again, nothing happens, i get phone booted up only by putting in charger and then recovery mode and reboot. Help me please, i have android 6.0 ALE-L21C432B575. hi, do you dolve your problme? i guess i have the same problem XD
regards
My P10 plus started this exact problem today. Always stock, never rooted or boot unlocked.
I was playing a game and it rebooted. Started again and lasted a minute but then constant bootloop to eRecovery screen.
Did the erecovery image download and didn't do anything brought me back to the same screen
Tried to factory reset on the ecovery screen and then booted, but during setup it rebooted.
Went to fastboot screen (pwr+vol down while attached to usb) and rebooted after. I was able to go through setup.
After letting it for sit for only 2 minutes as I type this message, it randomly started rebooting on its own.....and now back to recovery screen.
FACKKKKKKK
UPDATE: Took my phone in to a cell repair shop after exhausting all my troubleshooting options.
They said they took the phone apart to disconnect the battery and do a full power drain. Then after reconnected they installed EMUI 9.1 again via USB and got the phone up and running.
Been working for me for the past 6 hours, but the phone just rebooted on me once, so i'm sure they're still an unsolved demon in it. but no idea what it is right now.... May be time to start phone shopping.
maybe just battery broken, install app accu battery or any other to check batery
