TRY TO PULL IT WITH ADB : adb pull /cache BEFORE you install it

I've just downloaded it, will try tot pull but have never done so before.

Enable usb debugging on the phone and adb should be installed for this to work. This would make a lot of people very happy bro
Look in thw screenhot for the how to.

normally id do the adb pull... no access to a suitable computer this eve though. feel bad actually, the amount of help people have given me on here, hope someone else does the adb pull this eve..

I get the same message as in the screen you just posted, 0 files pulled :/ please help me?
Edit: I don't have root and unlocked bl yet since I've just got it.

I guess then it maybe needs adb shell and root to extract files. Well install and enjoy the OTA bro )

I've just unlocked my bootloader and am now in the process of rooting the device, when/if I get the ota KK update I will try to pull it again, if anyone else hasn't done so by that time.

I've pulled the update from the cache folder, currently uploading it to dropbox and will post link soon

I have a UK version with unlocked bootloader and rooted ROM. I have the stock recovery but the update fails, i get just "error". Do you know how to fix it?

Just got an update for the Tmo G6. It is now to 10o. Still 7.0 for those that care..

That's the june security update.
10o is 350+mb and started after the security update

I got mine last night.. Funny as I was harassing LG a couple days ago on twitter for not keeping up with Googles monthly security updates.

Strange.. got the (i) update but not the (o)...

So I just got prompted for an update the June security update but when I click on restart and install it's counting down to reboot but it doesn't Anyone else having this problem?

same here. counts down and wont reboot/install.
i'm trying via LG bridge but it is currently downloading a file under "software update" that is 2.62gb. I dont know what that is all about.
edit: lg bridge worked and I am now up to date.

Oreo OTA Now you see it, now you don't

Very strange. I'm on DP4. About 10 minutes ago I checked for an OTA to the new official 8.0 build and hey presto, up came the Android Oreo update available message. When I hit download and install, I got an error message and now the update is no longer available. Just says I have the latest version. Anyone else experience this?

I joined the beta program today. My version is 8.0.0. Is that beta or final?

I'm having the exact same issue and Google's help don't know ****. She keeps telling me it's not even available even though I can clearly see the update smh

According to other threads, they had problems with signature of the update packages being incorrect. They stopped otas, and are dropping them again, I believe.

Just a second ago the OTA was available again. Tried to download it and got the same error message as the first time around. Once again it has been replaced by your system is up to date. Some crazy weirdness definitely going on here. I think I'll try again tomorrow.

Ah, that would explain things.

I started a help session, and they said I needed to be unrooted for the OTA to be able to do anything. I'm going to try unrooting, but tbh I'll probably just end up flashing from the factory image.

That would be pretty obvious, you can't get system updates if you're rooted on literally any device.

I knew it wouldn't install, but it usually downloads it so that I can use Flashfire. This time around it seems that it won't even do that.

I have got 2 OTA URLs for build OPR6.170623.011/8.0.0 from my Australian Telstra carrier Pixel XL registered in Beta Program.
One is incremental from DP4, the other I'm not sure but is 951MB.

Firmwares with the ending 92-x are for India and Brazil, ending on 93-x for Europe, US and Asia Pacific.
For Europe/US the latest firmware is 93-10 (April security patch).
The latest one I found uploaded is 93-4. The same for India, 92-4 is uploaded.

A lot of people did. Maybe that's causing problems, I only know that you can't receive OTA's anymore.
The devices should work as expected but what happens if you flash a custom ROM and go back to stock (maybe another build?)I don't know but it's possible that all this voLTE and IMEI losing stuff is related to it.

That's what happens when there's multiple variants of the same phone and no one properly labels the firmware or provides specifications. I've done it, got back to stock with a locked bootloader and recovered IMEI. OTA updates installed with no issues but left with stuck with IMEI 0 again. Anyone in this situation who failed to make an initial backup with EFS or lost that backup is screwed. At this point you're best option is to stick with a stable Oreo ROM. We're getting better support from devs while Lenovo leaves us in the dark.

XT 1681 not updated

Dear!
I use XT 1681 more than 1 year. It was updated automatically up to patch from 1 june 2018 (...137....14). Patch downloaded many many times but after reboot I have error of updating (android symbol with "!") and rollback. I reset settings to factory - not results. How I can fix it? Thank you!

My region Russia. Phone was full reseted to factory. Phone not rooted

I fixed this bug! Problem was in standard flashing for XT 1681-1683. Lenovo produced other flashing for Brazil from 1/11/18. I found this update and flashed my phone with adb. I not understand: why Lenovo not changed rom for my phone from air? Why I must to search solution three months? It very bad practice for Lenovo! Motorola was serviced customers many better!
