Hey guys,
to make the i9003 from a friend working I had to remove internal storage from board and installed the system on the external sd by force (there is no storage anymore except this).
Now, I have the problem that the 2GB which were used for the system (the partition which was created by installing stock ROM) aren't available at all.
When I connect the sdcard via adapter to the pc there is shown 27GB - before that there were 29GB.
I tried some partition tools but they all show nothing.
Can anyone help, please?
Hello everyone, I would like to extend my internal storage. I am using Android M on my XT1562.
I tried to use my SD card has an internal storage but unfortunately it stops formatting at 30%. After a reboot the SD card is shown as internal storage but if I open ES file explorer for example the storage capacity is still 10gb (which is the capacity of the internal storage). So I will have to use it as an external storage as before.
Is there any option to change for example the download folder/the install folder for new apps to the external SD card? Or do I need to root the phone?
Another question is if I could use my SD card as internal storage how about transferring files to my PC? How does that work?

Once you format your SD card as internal storage, it can not be seen in any file manager. Also it cannot be seen on pc. Although you can move data through settings which shows your internal and SD card storage but you can only view it through by going to settings.
You cannot the change the location of apps to be installed in Android 6.0

Once you have set the SD card to internal any apps that you install that could previously be moved to the SD card will install to the SD card, any apps that could not be previously install to the SD card will install on the internal memory.
Hi,
my friend bought a new ALTRON LTV5506 with AOSP 11 and the internal memory is poor (RAM 1.5GB, Memory 8GB). A lot of bloatware is already installed and can't be removed. Therefore is just ~2GB free for apps. The internal memory is immediately full due to thumbnails and temporary files.
The TV system is able to connect different formatted external devices for pictures and movies but is NOT able to use the external device for android apps in any way like:
For installed Osmand I would like to use an external memory for maps but it's impossible.
Also it's impossible to use the external memory for apps.
Is there any way (Root with Magisk or KingoRoot, etc.) to get access to the external device to extend the internal memory?
Could you please help me How To?
Cheers
