LG G6 H870 debranding

Hi everyone,
I have PLUS+ (PL) sim free version of the phone. Is it possible to debrand it or flash with stock firmware from not branded phone?

Just flash open Euro .kdz with LGUP, should be fine

I have same situation.
Flashed open euro kdz on P4 poland and doesn't change oprerator code.
Also I dont have OTA 10L update .

Hi. Nothing new about flash OPEN EU to branded phone?
I flash kdz OPEN EU V10t on LG G6 which has V10u-ORG-MCV (buy in orange). After flash in system info i dont have V10t-EUR-XX but i have V10t-OPT1-HQ. After connect to LGUP its show a update. After update via LGUP i have again V10u-ORG-MCV.
When i flash older OPEN EU kdz (v10n) no new version via OTA was found.
I tried flash older V10N but same result.
Its software version blocked via IMEI number?

Thanks to fahad. I have lg g5 h820 oreo firmware but i m unable to update it using lg up tool 1.4 version ... As it does not detect my model ... While in pc ports it shows lg com port 3 etc ....
Now tell me how can i update ...

I did not try to update it yet. What I tried to take it, is to connect it in MTP mode of file transfer, and run uppercut directly and read it there (when you run uppercut opens LGUP where I take the device). Hope this can help you!

I need someone expert who experiment on his device bcoz i m not an expert and in case of any problem i cannot unbrick my device .. So need some people review first ....

Lg h873 refurbished update

I bought a lg g6 here in bangladesh , it was refurbished , however the imei is massed up , imei.info says its a galaxy grand. In about phone it says h873 and if try to update my phone it wouldn't let me update saying phone is not registered yet, my question is can i update to oreo using lg up and be safe ? Or would it brick the device.. Current os version is 7.0

I have the same phone and it wouldn't update automatically so I did it manually
but I did not have the Galaxy problem
so flash at your own risk

Yeah gathered some courage and flashed it, and it went flawlessly ..

I have thesame issue guys refurbish H783 but IMEI says VS998, I tried almost very IMEI look service ou t there.. Am currently running Nougat How do I get to Oreo pls

Install ADB drivers
Download Oreo H873 KDZ
Download LGUP and Uppercut
Activate developper options in setting
Activate USB Debugging
Flash KDZ files with LGUP

Personnaly I used Open Canada, it must works for all canadian variant ( if desimlocked)

Which one is open canada..
And by desimlocked you mean am SIM unlocked?

Error to use LG up in my pc

Hello people, greetings from Argentina. I want to comment on my problem with LGUP. I have an LG g6 h870DS and by mistake I put the firmware of the LG G6 h870 normal, now when using uppercut it throws an error 0x2000 and asks me to update the DLL, could you explain step by step how to return to the firmware of my lg g6 h870ds

I used TWN on my india H870DS which lead to no VoLTE, to roll back to Oreo is used the following guide my be it can help you too

You have to use LGUP Dual Mode from @tecknight Aristo thread.
