Hello,
First, sorry for my bad english and knowledge on flash/root.
I flashed Slimbean on my P700, everything worked fine, expect of the modem. I tried other ones, but didn't work.
So I decided to change the ROM and flashed CM10.2 on my L7 which was working fine until battery was empty. After loading my phone, I wanted to start it, but it stayed in a bootloop on the boot animation. I tried everything, wipe/dalvik wipe, flashing slimbean --> still bootloop
Now I thought, maybe CM11 could work, but still the same problem, I formated everything expect of sd, wipe/dalvik wipe, flashed the ROM, Gapps and kernel, but still the bootloop...
Any ideas?
It may take a while on first boot. But if it don't load you could restore a backup of you have one or flash a kdz or use LG update tool to fix your issue. Other than that make sure you have word everything in recovery and format system, data and cache before flashing a rom. Do not flash kernel before first boot unless it's required.
I can add to that to flash ROM only without gapps just to get OS to boot correctly.
I already solved it.
I whiped everything, formatted everything except of external sd and than first only flashed the ROM and rebooted, all worked, than i installed the Gaps, rebooted, and last i flashed the kernel, now it works fine but i will never ever reboot my phone or let battery get empty ^^ no more
thanks for your help
I was using Nougat 7.0 Android Ice Cold Project (AICP) -12.0 was working well,
Made complete backup of this ROM/OS then booted from backup, Stuck on boot up screen, then did a clean flash of
this ROM again stuck at finally boot screen,
Then flashed ED300 CM13 MM but found no communication devices working, There might b kernel issue, I don't know.
Now I'm able to flash and use all other custom MM and LP ROMs except Nougat 7.0 and all having No communication means
no wi-fi, bluetooth, SIM card detection and signal, IEMI etc
I'm using Lenovo A6000 8GB.
Tried to install terminal emulator to change SIMs IEMI using thread by #zround, but was not able to do so bcz unknown source blocked and not working.
Setting not working and crashing,
I just needed Wi-Fi to work at least now.
Could anyone help or provide flashable kernel or firmware to fix these issues?
Or anything to revert back communication modem, or On stock ROM from recovery, Or stock recovery.
Fixed by myself. Flashed stock ROM which failed but patched the firmware
And efs, then without wiping data, dalvik cache/cache dirty flashed MM ROM and found everything working properly again.
Hi friends! I really feel frustrated with this phone.
I began by using fastboot to flash TWRP (twrp-3.1.1-1-s2), used it to flash Lineageos 13.0, but IR BLASTER doesn't work, then I flashed 14.1 and IR blaster, Sim detection, flashlight and camera don't work correctly, I tried Resurrection remix and MIUI8 too but I gave up, neither of those Custom Roms works as I wanted them to.
So I went back to EUI and all was well until I wanted to update OTA, it gave me an error every time, tried to do it with update.zip but nothing, using stock recovery and nothing. I used TWRP and wipe everything again, now this thing won't start it just bootloops, I tried everything for two days and every time I use a stock ROM (5.8.020s) it gives me an error, or tells me it can't be read. When I factory reset and format everything it tells me I dont have an OS installed, so I'm completely lost I don't know what else to do and I can't return the phone because I'm overseas right now.
I really need to have it as when I got it the first time because at least it was functional but I just can't get it to work
I could really use some help right now :crying: thanks in advance guys!

So I managed to fix the problem. When you root this phone or in fact just flash a custom recovery like TWRP, it changes the model of the phone, If you unroot the phone you won't be able to receive OTAs anymore even if you are on stock ROM, you'll always get an error at the end of the update even if you do it manually, if you are dumb like me and didn't make a backup of your stock system, you won't find any help on the internet more than to install a custom ROM and learn to live with the errors and bugs. I did not want that so to be able to get the phone to its factory state, what I did was this:
1. Download: stock recovery image for Le s3 x522 (official, you can find it anywhere), LeEco_X522_5.8.019S_OTA.zip, bootloader-20S-s2.zip, twrp_s3.img (the chinese TWRP recovery) and S2_X522-NA-OP-IFXNAOP5802102141S-5.8.021S.zip
2. Save those zips to the root of the phone, obviously the .img files you are going to flash them through your PC
3. Put the phone in bootloader mode. command: fastboot flash recovery recovery.img (the official recovery)
4. fastboot boot twrp (the chinese one)
5. From this step what I did was pure luck
6. wipe cache and dalvik and install LeEco_X522_5.8.019S_OTA.zip
7. wipe cache and dalvik and install bootloader-20S-s2.zip
8. wipe cache and dalvik and install S2_X522-NA-OP-IFXNAOP5802102141S-5.8.021S.zip
9. Reboot
How and Why did this worked I don't know, I am a noob but please try if you find yourself in the same situation as I was, you don't lose anything with trying, if this doesn't work don't blame me, this worked for my phone.
Greetings friends!
Thanks for putting this guide together, I am in a similar situation in that I reverted to stock everything (1. Installed YDSS chinese twrp, 2. Installed S2_X522-NA-OP-IFXNAOP5802012141S-5.8.020S.zip. This flash was supposed to have installed the stock recovery and overriden the ydss twrp, but didn't, I had to manually flash that after. Everything came back smooth but my updates also failed at recovery.
I am wondering where you got the LeEco_X522_5.8.019S_OTA.zip, bootloader-20S-s2.zip & twrp_s3.img from?
Nice to hear you finally got it to work ! Aren't the X520 and the X522 the same phone ? Why official ROMs are not compatible ?
I have a ZE552KL that suddenly developed a very odd problem. While using it (browsing the Play Store, actually) I rotated it to landscape and it wouldn't rotate back. When I went to check the status of the sensors using AIDA64 I can only see the ambient light sensor and proximity sensor. There should be gyroscope, step counter, compass, etc. in that section but they've all just disappeared!
I've reset the phone completely, opened it up and disconnected the battery, flashed back to Marshmallow, upgraded to Nougat, tried Lineage... Nothing has worked. I have read that on other phones corruption of files in the persist partition can cause sensors to disappear. Does anyone have a TWRP backup of their persist partition available that they can send me? Stock firmware images don't touch that partition so flashing stock firmware doesn't help.
Sorry bro bootloader is locked back so no twrp or backup. What I suggest is Flash raw file using asus flash tool
Heres the link
https://vnrom.net/2017/04/rom-raw-cuu-may-cho-asus-zenfone-3-ze520kl-ze552kl/
this will flash all the partitions back. Yes all.

As I mentioned, the stock firmware image (even the raw one) doesn't touch the persist partition. I flashed the stock firmware for this device every way it can be flashed several times.
I managed to solve the issue by deleting the file /persist/sensors/sns.reg using the file manager in TWRP. Everything's working fine again.

Fantastic.
Hello,
I am having the same problem. However, in my case, there is no folder named "sensors" in "persist" partition (there are other folders). My problem started after reflashing the stock rom with stock recovery for the fingerprint reader was suddenly stopped working. The fingerprint reader issue is gone, however, now I am having only brightness and proximity sensors detected issue. Any help would be appreciated.
I haven't found any references to this and i'd like to share.
I'm on a custom ROM and unlocked bootloader with TWRP installed. I was on my ROM for two months without any modifications. The only things I had tampered with recently were flashing twrp 3.2.0 by the twrp app and flashing an update to my ROM. Two days after that, my phone's vibration went dead.
I did a factory reset (wiped data/davlik/cache)
I clean flashed my ROM
I clean flash a deoexd stock ROM
And i clean flashed again my original ROM.
Nothing fixed the problem and before flashing the stock ROM by qfil, i backed up my ROM's kernel (boot img) by TWRP (idk why I did that) and the problem was fixed out of the blue.
If anything similar occurs give it a try and backup your kernel.
(I didn't flash the kernel again. Once the backup was finished, the problem was magically solved)
