I've searched everywhere but didn't find any custom rom without major bugs..

You'll have to port MIUI for your device. Alternatively you can search in forums and Facebook groups for one. I think it'd be fun to have MIUI for our beloved moto G4 plus ?

Bro i also faced this issue when i flashed stock rom.my internal storage was only 4gb left.factort reset worked for me to get my storage back.
when you flash custom ROMs it'll completely depend on Custom ROM how much storage space is going to be allocated to the user
so it's not a problem with your lenovo A6000 plus but actually with the custom ROM
better options are flash back to stock ROM or try another custom one (Cyanogenmod recommended if you don't like stock ROM)
