Help rooting a SM-G935a AT&T Unlocked Oreo Baseband Number g935aucu4cre4 - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Questions & Answers

I have been trying to figure this out for the last few evenings. The information on the internet is very conflicting. I have been trying to Use odin 3.13.1 and 3.12.3 with twrp-3.2.1-1-hero2lte.img.tar file in ap. I get a sha256 error every time. Some pages say that I cannot flash twrp to this phone. Trying to figure it out.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 SM-N9109W (China) Bootloop - No Access to Recovery

Hello everyone, I'd like to start off by saying I am a complete newcomer to all this so please explain literally all of the terminology/jargon you intend to use and correct me when I use it wrong.
I have a Chinese version of the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 SM-N9109W and up until yesterday it was running out of the box on android 4.4.4. I care not for any of the data on the phone nor the warranty as there was none to begin with when it was gifted to me.
I attempted to "root" it as I didn't want any of the Chinese apps/restrictions on it but have failed miserably and now my phone is stuck in a bootloop.
I was following this guide if it helps: http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4/general/root-note-4-sm-n910c-t2977948 and downloaded the appropriate Snapdragon version (SM-N9109W).
I cannot enter recovery mode by holding down *power+vol up+home* as it just keeps on rebooting. I can, however, get into the downloader by holding down *power+vol down+home*.
I have tried for the entirety of today to find a specific guide for the Chinese note 4 on xda, youtube and google but to no avail - nothing that I can find is identical to my situation and I am hesitant to do anything further to it by following a similar guide in case I make it worse.
I have repeatedly seen suggestions to "flash" stock rom and as I can get into the downloader I believe this would be a great starting point, but once again I am afraid to do anything without a specific guide for the N9109W.
A few people have referred to SamMobile to download stock rom, but a search for SM-N9109W lists 8 files for 4.4.4 and I believe I have no way of working out my PDA or CSC, yet again I don't know what these even are and they might not be relevant?
Any assistance in getting my phone's software back to "out of the box" conditions would be GREATLY appreciated.
Thank you for your time and patience,
Ryan
If you can enter Download mode then you can flash that firmware you found matching your device's exact model no. via Odin. Just put the ROM in AP/PDA tab (PDA for older Odin versions, AP for new) and hit start.

Thank you ithehappy for the reply,
When I search for the stock firmware on SamMobile, I type in my exact model number (SM-N9109W). This search returns with a list of multiple different versions for my phone, of which 8 are 4.4.4 (my initial version).
Does it matter which version I download and install?
To my knowledge, I have no way of finding my CSC or PDA unless you know of a database I can use to search the information that is physically on my phone? Once again, does it matter that I know what these are or can I simply download, for example, version 5.1.1 and flash that on instead of my original 4.4.4? Or, will this just cause further possibly unfixable problems?
Thank you for your help
Anyone?
No, you can download any one you want.
Thank you for the help, ithehappy. I now have a working phone!
For future readers, I downloaded the latest version of 4.4.4 that SamMobile had (2015-03-27) for my model (SM-N9109W):
PDA: N9109WKEU1ANL3
CSC: N9109WCTC1ANL3
It failed the first time I tried flashing with Odin 3.10.7, but whilst I was hastily taking screenshots of my problem to post here I accidentally started the transfer again and it successfully installed that time.
I followed the instructions on SamMobile for the installation.
This version of the firmware I installed does not have any google services (thank China for that), so keep that in mind.
Thank you

Won't flash after XAC

I got a s8 VZW a couple weeks ago and flashed XAC firmware on it everything went smooth, now I can't flash anything anymore. I place all the files in the correct place in Odin (tried different versions and different firmwares like G950U1 and TMB) but when it goes into file analysis, setup connection, it goes All threads completed (successful 0/failed 1). I can't figure whats going on. Help would be very much appreciated.

SM-N910F stuck in Firmware Encountered an Issue (ODIN Mode)

I have a Note4 that had Android version 4.4.4. I wanted to upgrade to 6.0.1 but the Odin failed at the last step (hidden.img I believe). Now, on reboot it goes to Firmware has encountered an error. Use Kies. I tried Kies but it says that SM-N910F is not supported for initialising.
Next, searching online, I found a PIT file and used that. No luck. Same issue. I guess, I screwed up now since original partition is probably lost. Question however is - can I recover in any way? Kies and Smart Switch both fail to recognize device.
Ths SSN is N910FGSMH. It is UK model I believe but I don't know which operator. What are my options at experimenting and recovering? I had tried N910FXXU1DQHC_N910FEVR1DQH1_EVR and then EVR-N910FXXS1DQG5-20170731165019 ODIN files.
Hi, agaurav
Did you get to a solution?
Thanks
I did but I don't remember the solution at all. I am not good at these things so don't know which website and what instructions helped me get this working more than a year back.
Sorry, can't help now.

ODIN firmware flash fail - UK EE

Hi there,
Long story short, I purchased a used S8 from someone on FB but when I got home it had the FRP reset lock on it. Instead of asking for the password and email (have since given), which I thought would be too rude, I decided to try and fix it myself.
Decided to follow a tutorial, which told me to flash the 7.0 firmware for the device (running on Android 7, not 8) in order to remove this. Unfortunately, the firmware flash failed on ODIN and I'm unable to recover the device using SmartSwitch. I just get the "an error has occurred while updating" message when trying to boot the phone, but that doesn't prevent me accessing download mode.
DEVICE DETAILS: S8, locked to EE network (UK), G950F. OEM lock and USB debugging were enabled. I've tried the latest Android 7 firmware on Sammobile, would flashing the BTU firmware or Android 8 work? Pretty sure the phone is the SS version, if that helps at all.
Does anyone have any tips on what I could do? Much appreciated.
Thanks.
RESOLVED
Thanks to @instrumentaly, this issue was resolved!!
This guy was helpful at every step of the way, well done and thanks again. Honestly, at first glance I thought it was too good to be true but I can now use my new phone again thanks to him. Professionally done.

re-flashing stock OS onto Samsung Galaxy S8

Model: SM-G950F
Build Number: PPR1.180610.011.G850FXXUCDUD1
So I recently flashed /e/ OS (a fork of Lineage if anyone is unfamiliar). Unfortunately, /e/ was giving my phone problems, and also Verizon doesn't work with it, so I decided to flash Android 9 Pie back onto it. After hunting down the version of my phone's firmware (I live in the US but my phone is a refurbished phone from the UK), I downloaded it, plugged the BL, AP, CP, and HOME_CSC into PrinceComsy Odin. In TWRP I formatted the storage and all that, and then I flashed it using Odin. I got the green "Pass!" and the <OSM> All threads completed. (succeed 1 / failed 0) messages, but when I went to TWRP's reboot screen, it said there was no OS.
Are there settings I am missing or something? I have the G850FXXUCDUD1 firmware, I tried combinations of just flashing the AP and CSC, just AP, AP BL and CSC, so on and so forth, but no dice.
I've scoured the internet for help but nothing I have tried has solved the issue, so I figured I'd try here. Any help literally at all would be appreciated. If you need more information on the device or what I did in specific I would be happy to oblige. Thank you in advance!
EDIT: I've only gotten into software hacking relatively recently, and XDA-Developers even more so. As you can tell by the age of my account, this is the first time I've ever posted or anything haha. I tend to lurk on tech forums. Anyhoo that is all
EDIT 2: I downloaded Odin 3.13.3 and am trying that. Thus far it either fails or gets stuck on SetupConnection
EDIT 3: I downloaded a different zip from a different source for my phone. It succeeded in Odin, put the default recovery back on my phone, but now it is stuck on the samsung logo when trying to boot.
