Hi to all,
I've been looking but could not find a stock rom to flash (deodexed or odexed). I've tried using the flash tool in order to flash the KDZ file, but was not able to.
Any help?
Cheers,

I want to update my i9505 to the latest android 4.3 through Odin but I don't want the new Knox bootloader, could someone please give me any instructions of how I could achieve this? I don't want to install the "custom" stock roms.
*EDIT*: Could someone also give me instructions on how to compile the edited firmware.
I tried to Google it but to no avail.
I shall be grateful to anyone who helps.

In order to remain on your old bootloader you will need to root. Any reason why you don't want to? Root, install a custom recovery then flash the pre rooted rom. They are stock based.

Thank you for your reply, I'm rooted with custom recovery. However I wish to create myself a Odin copy for emergency purposes, I currently have the official MGA firmware update for Odin. I want to create a Odin flash-able firmware update without the new bootloader,
EDIT: After going through the thread all the firmware files include the new know bootloader ;(
As far as I know you can't flash via odin. I suggest you flash the CWM version this has no bootloader. As your already rooted using the knox free cwm version is the safest bet at the moment.

Does the flashable one contain the modem and everything?
Thank you for replying.

No modem, you can install that separately via Odin as we can't flash modems using CWM. It contains stock rom and stock kernel.

Hi, I tried finding it a lot but could not find it anywhere. Can someone provide me with a flashable zip of stock rom? I do not want to use odin as it is 3 times the work.
If you are a dev, I'm pretty sure my request to make a stock rom flashable zip would be helpful to many people, not just me thanks in advance

Custom ROM if you want flashable zip, ODIN is the only method to flash stock.

I'm aware of that. I was wondering if someone could make a flashable zip. I'm no dev but I've been on xda long enough to know that isn't a difficult job. All of my previous phones had stock flashable zips so I was wondering if someone could do the deed and help us too. They are extremely helpful in flashing.
If you know how to make a flashable zip, I would wish you make one for us? it would be a great pleasure

Well trouble of doing a flashable stock zip is that you need to be able to change the kernel, and custom recovery. Not sure that changing the recovery to stock via a custom recovery flashable zip works? Although it might do. Interesting none the less, shall see if someone else will chime in and explain more..

I'm currently running a rooted kitkat based custom rom (purity). I'll eventually want to run a custom lollipop based rom once the dust settles a bit, but don't want to revert back to stock for the ota, and don't want to manually flash a stock 5.0 rom either.
Since I'll need the new bootloader eventually, is there a twrp flashable file for the new bootloader available which I can flash now in preparation for future 5.0 based roms?
Don't have a decent usable pc handy, so if I could do everything straight from the manta itself that would be great.
(crap, wrong forum, sorry)
I haven't seen one, but if you download the image you should be able to use flashify. I have not tested though, so be careful.

Do you have to update the bootloader from kitkat

I'm looking for a flashable zip too! I had problems using flashify and my Mac doesn't detect my N10 in fastboot mode

Hello
On rooted device can't we flash ota update using flashfire. Please do reply developer's.
Thanks.
Why would you want to?
Just download the new rom from one+, I know it's about 2 - 2.5gb, and flash that from either TWRP or Stock recovery...
That is the main issue. I don't have unlimited download plan. Ota will be of few mb
