i' m having probelms with my micorsd 2 gb , it gives me strange characters on folders and files , i'm sure the microsd is working fine , I used it with my last phone and never had problems. Does anyone hot to format correctly microsd on p4350? Have to use Fat 16 or 32 ...

thanks for replying, now i'm reading the threads about the microsd corrupt. I'm sending 3-4 emails and trying to contact htc, I think that this is a joke!!!! how is it possible they can sell a phone with these problems !!?!?!? hope can solve it , or I have to change the phone, can't format microsd 3 times at week ... **** !!!

after contacting htc by phone, they told me and confirmed me that htc p4350 has problems with external memory. They told me that until windows mobile 6 will be avaible :
----- don't have to turn off completely the phone, but ues it only in standby mode-
I will try in this way , waiting for wm6 upgrade , for htc is the only solution ....

I think the main problem is running programs off the memory card before it is put into sleep mode.

I think, that main problem is bad work of HTC and (or) Microsoft. This problem is about 8 months old and no solution yet !

i m from france and i had a probleme with my htc niki 16 keys
my card worked without probleme. I dont kwon why but one day my card wasn't detected anymore by the phone. In memoty setting it was wirtten : "not installed". i try everything : format sd in FAT/FAT32 many time with different programme, i made soft an hard reset too. Exausted i send the phone to my seller (it is still guarenty). A week later the phone worked perfectly, they reinstall the ROM they said...
But now the same bug reappear and a dont know what to do !! Does anyone here think that flashing my rom can resolve my probleme !! does anyone did have the same probleme ?? i search in many forums but i havr the feeling that i m the only one with a such probleme ?

Hi... firstly i am sorry due to my bad English... At this moment I am using [ROM+KITCHEN][WWE] Sh3lby 1.11 [23091][LEO 1.48][Manila 2.5/2.1/NM][Radio 1.17] rom and i think this is the best...so i would like to thanks to every one who developed this rom... but i have a problem, also i had this problem at other ROM which i used. My problem is i can't install software... when i try to install a cab file it asks me select place where device or sd card to install software . I chose one of them but i saw same display 2 or 3 times again and then error report as installation was unsuccessful. please help me... thanks....

Hi.. I've found out the problem by chance.... The cause of the problem was sd card...
I had bought a cheap sd card... I was installing from sd card and it has been giving to me error report... today I have tried to install from phone memory... and it was successful... Consequently I suggest to don't buy cheap sd card....

after installing new ROM and wipe , every thing deleted so my Astro apps is not installed and i dont have internet connection to install it from market , i want to install it from Sd card ?

You have to be comfortable with ADB. Heres a detailed tutorial:

If you cant do that, you are going to have to get mobile internet showhow on your device by borrowing someone else's simcard / going to a wifi hotspot etc, to install ASTRO.

i ve bought sm-t231 recently
but there re problems with the ext sd card
first the device said it was broken untill i d to format it to fat32
it worked but it hanges alot
eg when i play mp3 file it works for awhile then stops
is it a problem with the device or the sd card
please answer me quickly
Don't be so demanding. The only way to know which is bad, is to test the tablet with another card and test that card with another device.
