i need to know
are there any custom roms like lineage os, AOSP extended, Pixel experience or mokee rom for our nokia 6.
or in future they will be build?
no bootloader unlock = no custom roms

well!
boot-loader can be unlocked easily after HMD Global released its official unlocking method on their web page.
& one more thing official TWRP is also released...
but no unlock for nokia 6 for now....

I have the TA-1025, does that make a difference?

Why the thread on rooting then. I'm a bit confused.
ask the person in the first post please
if he googled a bit or read at nokia6 xda boards he would have known the answer and didnt had to post this here
TA-1033 can be rooted and bootloader unlocked(unofficially)
I think if someone wants to port rom for this model, he can do it.
But for other models i don't know..

rooting & unlocking the boot loader isn't a big deal
but without any custom ROM its useless

i don't know why nokia smartphones aren't showed up on custom roms official webpages...
I'm very above average smartphone user, but I do not have enough knowledge to create a custom rom. No one in this forum who owns this phone and has the knowledge to make custom rom ?

I was able to get the bootloader unlocked through a third party for $5.

It's says it supports MSM8225T, so it supports the Arc S too.
On a side note
Is the test point for the Arc and Arc S the same ?

If i unlock my bootloader with omnius will i keep the warrenty from my operator?And if i keep it how do i unlock it after i install the program.I debranded SE vivaz last summer with omnius but android is kinda new to me with omnius case

Hello i just got a new phone (note 4 the 910f version) i rooted it. And put cwm philiz touch on it via odin. But when i try to put a rom through the recovery i get bootloop every time (and im wipeing everything as i should....no dirty flashing)...now im not new at all to android this is my 4th samsung android and maybe my 11th android in total so im famillar with what to do and how...any idea?....maybe theres something i dont know about the note?

Since lollipop you have to flash the appropriate non-good.bin with CP slot with ODIN before you can flash the ROM.

PS That was new to so many of us, lol. As it was totally new we all had to learn our lesson. First it looked as if we also had to flash the corresponding modem.bin along with the non-hlos.bin. And as mobile ODIN doesn't work with our device we need a PC and ODIN, which is a pain for many of us.

Every good developer has the non-hlos.bin and the ROM in his OP. You can look it up at my dev-friends Dr. Ketan or Friedrich420 at ECHOE forum.

Hi Guys, i just now got my new ZUK Z1 white version from Ebay France.
it is an International Version came with Cyanogen Mod preinstalled.
But when i was going through settings, i couldnt hear ringtones ringing and no sound output at all no matter what setting i change/alter.
Has anyone faced such problems ? what should i do now ? should i return the device asking for a replacement ?
I am very much disappointed... Pls help me... i have also messaged the seller. awaiting for a reply.
Is my hardware an issue ?

If it's this one, then it just referring to the CM base that TWRP was built on. Either CM 13/Marshmallow or CM 12/Lollipop.

from the manual, the version of the bootloader is not of the android MM. It is for Lollipop .
Also, the files were uploaded 3 months ago.
