im on paradus hd rom 4.2.2 and i put a flex 1.5 zip file on my device.
so i went to twrp to wipe the phone as always before i was flashing a new rom. this time wiping the phone failed i tried 3 times and it kept failing then i went to the install section in TWRP to find my zip file, but unfortunately there was noting no files at all.
i rebooted the phone and paradus started and pluged the phone in the computer and al the files were there. but in TWRP I could not find any file at all.
i hope someone can help me out
Update TWRP. .3.2 had some weird issues. Someone with a D802 might be able to tell you which one to update to.

No problem! Happy to help!
Hi everyone. I was using my phone with stock rom for a while ans I wanted to pass to Miui cuz I heard 4.4.2 will be released soon.
I downloaded TWRP and tried to flash as I did everytime before with Odin. I flashed it and it rebooted, odin showed Pass with no errors, but when I tried to launch the recovery, it is still stock. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I flashed it like this before and they always worked but this is not working. Is there another way to install this? I don't have root access but it wasn't an issue before. I have the usb drivers installed and debugging on. It was tricky to install drivers on Win 8.1 but it seems like installed correctly as it didn't showed an error.
Waiting for an answer please. I hate this exynos phone but my parents just not allowing me to sell this.

Nope. It still opens up the stock recovery. Anymore solutions?
You tried to install one in the stock recovery? A zip file of the Recovery?

I tried installing Miui in the stock rom but it didn't work. Perhaps the last updates did something? Cuz I was able to do this with ease. Maybe downgrading to the first stock 4.4.2 will work but it takes a lot of time and I'm sick of this. Thanks anyway, I'll boost your thanks meter by one more for trying to help

The rom you are currently on has nothing to do with your inability to flash the recovery. It's a completely different thing.
Uncheck auto-reboot before you flash the recovery. That should probably fix it.

You can maybe look for the latest official firmware from samsung and flash it. And after that try again the recovery. Here the Link: http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/1/

Hi there.
Is anyone here using TWRP 3.x? I'm still on 2.x, since I read of lots of problems with newer versions of the recovery on this device, but I'd like to upgrade now. Can anyone give me some feedback?
Thanks in advance
It works but as with multiple posts not with Aroma.
Sent from my SM-N930F using XDA-Developers mobile app
I see no reason to update if u have no issue on 2.x. sometimes upgrade is just a no go.

Try it.. It totally a new design You can revert back, if you don't like it.. By flashing the image through the new twrp itself.

If you're trying to downgrade, it means that you've flashed TWRP.
If you've flashed TWRP, it means that you already know how to flash a custom recovery.
If you already know how to flash a custom recovery, then this is EXACTLY the same thing. Just pick an older version of TWRP and flash it the exact same way you would flash any version of TWRP.
And if you don't even know how to do that, google is your friend.

Please mention in detail what did you do.
What custom ROM did you install??
What is your baseband verision (Please mention complete baseband)
Was it working earlier on the same Custom ROM and stopped working all of a sudden?
What troubleshooting did you try......reboot, clean flashing again, etc??
an apology for the delay...
First of all thanks for answering, information:
As most do the e unlocking of bootloader to install the TWRP of rajatgupta1998 same that I used to install the ROM Havoc 8.1, installation and use without problems until a couple of days after I no longer had the option of fingerprint in configuration or reacted the sensor for nothing, make several full wipes to see if I recovered and nothing, install Bliss 8.1, Arrow 9.0 and I can not get my fingerprint.
Currently I have the last stock ROM of Jerome-X, assuming I would recover the fingerprint with stock without success ...
My baseband is M8952_70030.25.03.62.02e ATHENE_LATAM_CUST.
Kernel ElementaryX G4.
If there is anything else that I must inform to receive help, I am available.
