[Q] Dell Venue 11 Pro 5130 Processor variations

Hi. I am looking to get a Dell venue 11 pro in the next few days and noticed a couple of things whilst shopping around. Most 5130 models have a intel atom @ around 1.4-1.6 ghz. (Link to amazon). Now my issue that this Amazon one has a Z3775Dn 1.46GHz processor where I recently found a different tablet (on ebay this time) that claims to have a Z3770 2.4Ghz Quad Core. I've also found another one that claims to have the 2.4ghz processor but instead the processor is a Z3775D. The last tablet is slightly more expensive than the other two, around £30 or so.
Can anyone advise me on how legitimate or not these 2.4ghz models are.
Thanks.

Lenovo Vibe P1

The Lenovo Vibe P1 just launched a week ago,
Thinking to buy this device but,
It seems rumor mill has already started churning, about the device facing a "Heating issue".
The device is pretty great for a low ranged smartphone with,
Android v5.1 (Lollipop) OS
4900mAh, Quick Charge
Fingerprint Reader NFC
13 MP PDAF f2.2 Camera
5 MP f2.8 Camera
Dual Sim (LTE + LTE)
5.5 inch FHD 1080p Touchscreen
1.5 GHz Snapdragon 615 64-bit Octa Core Processor
Expandable Storage Capacity of 128 GB
can someone who owns/ knows someone who does/ or expert reviewer , shed some light about this device's issues, especially the heating one? Thanks in advance
I am using one.. Got it yesterday only.. Using it continuously, but No heating issues till now.. But I don't play games and hence ymmv..
Could you test it with some standard games like Clash Of Clans, Asphalt or Modern Combat?
The Heating issue is over hyped on various sites, scared to buy it because of that.
Not Much of a Heater
The phone even after serious gaming for upto 45 mins doesnt go above 44-45 degs (Celcius). Dont worry, I was worried too, saw the gaming review with temp, & then placed the order. I'll be getting mine in a couple of days.
Thanks, was badly worried with the reviews saying the Lenovo Vibe P1 heats upto 50-55 Celsius on long calls and gaming.
how to root this??
Thank

How to root ??
I really want to root this phone
I tried kingroot and iRoot applications
Can anyone suggest a proper way to root this phone ?
Is there a separate FAST CHARGING option for charging?
or it's a separate cable or something?
I am using this phone and the only tim I get this heated up is when it is charging .... but again not more than 45 - 46 .. so this is a good phone and worth the money spent
Fantastic fone for the price. Cost me less than 200 dollars equivilant coupled with an exchange. Good performance. Excellent battery life. Fast charging. Colors and hues not as good as an OPO. Looks quite OK.
5.1.1 out of the box.
Hope developers develop interest in building Custom RoMs, other development support.

what is this??

As we've posted before, most heating is normal, as phones give off heat when using power or when charging.

Honestly, I don't think there's a problem. Newer phones, with more powerful processors and functions, running more demanding apps, run warmer than older models. We need to know the temperature of the phone that the user thinks is too hot to see if the phone is running within operating specifications.
People who change phones every year will probably not be surprised by today's warmer-running phones. People who have used the same phone for two years or more, probably will be.
And yes, warming is normal. But we want to help you get used to the way these newer phones run.

Arey yar just stop posting here. If you post then make some sense of it. Motorola knows our problems. They are searching for a solution. Finally I say don't post silly comments over here.
Hey guys,
First of all pardon me for the length of this post. I have been following this thread for almost 2 weeks now. And all the statements, made by the senior members/moderators of this forum have been to the same effect, most heating is normal. Infact, one of the senior members even went on to say that he/she would help us get used to the way these newer phones ran! So i decided to find out for myself if this is how the newer phones ran. And as some of our Indian friends blamed us of over-reacting, i also needed to find out, are we posting silly comments? Does motorola really know our problems and are we hindering their 'solution finding'? Lets find out...
Below is the list of some the branded phones in budget segment(except oneplus 3,which i will explain later y i included) that have released in the last one year or so. All these phones were tested by the same person(geekyranjit) under the same conditions. The test was to measure the temperature of these phones after gaming on them for 10-12 minutes. All the tests were done using the same games. Lets find out how normal is our phone compared to other newer phones..

Ash from c4etech got 48.6 degree at front top after 30 minutes of gaming. Abhinav from phonebunch got 47.1 degree in the front and 50.3 degree at the back while gaming for 15 minutes without an AC on but in indoor conditions.
Please Note:
All the tests are done indoors under an AC with an ambient temperature of 27-28 degrees, unless specified otherwise. So heatwave has nothing to do with these temperatures.(Not getting personal, just clarifying)
One plus 3 does not fall under the 'budget' smartphone category but i included it in the list because it uses the latest and the most powerful chipset in the midrange smartphone segment. So if such heat was normal in today's faster processors, this phone should exhibit the most heat.
Conclusion:
All Lenovo phones heat quite a bit more than the other smartphones in this category and that is why probably moderators think that such heat is normal. But no branded phone heats as much as moto g4 plus, not even lenovo's other devices in this segment. So how many of u guys think that this is all normal? Except for oneplus 3 every phone in this list is cheaper than moto g4 plus and most of them have almost the same specs. Do u still think that we are over-reacting and everything is normal with this phone?
and yes they give quick charge 1.0??**** moto
yeah this phone has heating issue, I think the main reason is processor, any intensive processor using apps will heat it up quickly, in 10 minutes and I don't think this could be solved with software update, this is bad because it will lower the life of phone, so in my opinion if you haven't got this phone yet, don't buy it, get redmi note 3 3gb ram instead
i already got it just today but i am normal user...fb whatsapp and coc just
I tested with 'Made In China' and 'Made in India' g4+....quite obviously Indian Device is getting more warmer in less time and even Display is not bright enough when compared to Chinese(Original).
What I'm trying to say is people I saw who are worrying too much about the heating issue are owners of "Made in India". Mine is working fine after the Initial update but getting little warmer after playing too much(I play Nova, asphalt) but I can live with this..
So check your device manufacturer .. and I can say if you bought recently(and got USB charger) then it is Indian and If you purchased at earlier it is Chinese
PS: Mine is chinese..not Indian (check your device box for Name of Manufacturer to know)

Bro mine is a chinese one ....... But have found the reason for overheating during turbo charging......... Check out my thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/themes/cracked-reason-moto-g4-heats-turbo-t3403612
And ya over heating upto 45°C is just fine its some thing thats common between my
octacore,3gbram moto g4+
Quadcore,1gb ram sony xperia e3d2212
And quadcore,also 1gb ram hp 7 voicetab.......
Its pretty much common in evryphone now a days
But would like to mention something that i had experienced with my xperia e3
Its that after i rooted it and got rid of a few actually a lot of system apps i dint notice overheating in it evn while playing games like MC4 for almost 3hours continuously with my charger plugged it......
In case of moto g4+ therz no bloatware too(very very less bloatware)so it just might be the chance of over usage...etc....apart from the time of gaming and turbo charging i dont really think the phone heats up to a level that u would have to worry(like 3g all day long with whatsapp snapchat and instagram running all day long)......
wanted to know

Please Help. Only a Single person Replied in a Day!

Hi All,
Thanks for coming to the post. I know this is not a review website, but I could not find the solution anywhere else. I need your help in choosing my next phone. I am deciding between Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro ($350) and Xiaomi RedMi Note 3 ($200). I know the price difference between them is somewhat unjustifiable, but I am choosing between mid-rangers from Xiaomi and Samsung. Now I have a few points to make so that I can have a proper explanation.
Before starting, just FYI, I am using Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Xiaomi MI4. My father has a RedMi Note 3 and my sister has a RedMi Note 4. Beside these, I have used many phones from Samsung and other manufacturers as well. So I fairly know how good phones both manufacturers produce.
1) Galaxy A9 Pro in India comes with S652 chipset flanking 4GB RAM and 32 gigs of storage. RedMi Note 3, on the other hand, is available with S650 chipset having 3GB RAM and 32 GB storage. While the specs are in favour of Galaxy A9 Pro, why RedMi Note 3 has upper hand in most benchmarks? If it is because of TouchWiz, does it lags horribly?
2) A (very) few people, including GSMArena, mentioned a kind of screen flicker in Galaxy A9 while in low brightness. Any explanations on that? Does Galaxy A9 Pro suffers from same issues?
3) In a dual sim phone, if my first SIM is 4G/VoLTE based (Reliance JIO), what would be the supported network on 2nd (GSM, 3G or 4G) ? I have heard that 2nd SIM stays in 2G. Is that true for both the phones? I have also heard that RedMi Note 3 supports 3G in secondary slot.
4) Galaxy A9 Pro misses out the Gyro Sensor. Apart from VR, what else I'll be missing out if I opt for Galaxy A9 Pro? Also, what is the cost range for a decent VR box (I am poor)?
5) Do you knoy any video or website link where I can see a thorough overview of Galaxy A9 Pro UI? There are certain features I like in the ROM itself, and I do not want to root the new galaxy on day one. Fortunately all of them are available in MIUI, but I need to see someone's Galaxy A9 Pro. (App lock, Headsup notification disable, inbuilt data saver etc)
6) How good is the battery backup for Galaxy A9 Pro?
7) Samsung recently discontinued Galaxy A9 Pro in India due to which, the price has fallen from almost $500 to $350. What could be the reason behind it? Is there any production fault?
8) Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro is available for $350, Xiaomi RedMi Note 3 is available for $200. Considering all of my requirements and situation, should I spend $150 more for Galaxy A9 Pro?
Is there a nifty alternative for Second Space or Dual Apps from MIUI? Parallel space is a fairly poor adware, and even if I buy it for $3, it is a resource hog. Any recomendations?
Thanks for your time and input.
Have a great time ahead.
P.s. Mi Max Prime is too big for me.

I think the more important is : Do you want paid 150$ for toucwiz and what design you prefer ...
And touchwiz is nice now. No samsung doesn't have second space like MIUI and idk a good alternative
1. I have heard that this phone comes in 4G+2G connectivity. Redmi Note 3/4 on the other hand comes with 4G+3G connectivity. Is this an important thing to consider, because if I am using internet from first SIM, the second SIM will only be used for calls. So should I be worried about this thing?
2. Can I select 3G/2G on first SIM and 4G on second SIM without changing the cards?
